The location was excellent — it’s within walking distance to the Venice stop, and you can easily take the T1 tram from there. The reception also provided us with tickets, which was very convenient. They tried to help us with everything we needed. The place was quite clean. Having free on-site parking was a big plus. Breakfast was decent, especially with a good variety of coffee options. We would like to thank the hotel staff for their efforts.

The hotel has great location near to bus station to Venice, but also near to centre of Mestre, which is also worthy to see. Rooms are cleaned every day, we'll maintained, I did not miss anything there. The balcony doors are perfectly soundproof. Stuff is super nice and very helpful.

The bed is slightly uncomfortable, but this can be just about personal preferences. There was just one thin pillow, but I did not try to ask for one more. What bothered me was, how thin the walls are. There was a family in the room right next to us, which was very loud till the night. I could hear every single word of them.

The hotel is very cozy, clean and welcoming. The woman at the reception is very polite, kind and always smiling. She is kind and answers every question asked by the guests in detail. The hotel is located near a stop where you can take the tram to Venice. Tickets for it can be bought from the hotel at a price of 3 euros per person in both directions. The hotel room was clean, cozy and comfortable. Breakfast is very delicious! The hotel has parking and is suitable for families with children. Definitely recommend and would visit again.

Everything was great. The staff is very helpful and lovely! Especially, the lady and older gentleman at the reception! They helped me a lot with directions! We requested a room with front view and got room with balcony facing front view. I really appreciated it. Thanks a lot. The location is also great! 5 min walk to tram stop to go to Venice or Mestre Centre. 10 min to bus stop for the airport shuttle. There is a breakfast in the hotel but unfortunately we did not try it.

Hotel is having italian ambient, you can feel the vibe and the atmosphere. Rooms was spacious, clean and it was warm inside, there is a balcony which you can open. Pillows are flat, so if you like puffy pillows you will struggle a bit. Breakfast options-buffet with pastries, boiled eggs, jams and chocolate creme, cheese and ham, coffe, water and juices. All in all great experience

Easy walking distance (10 minutes) to the tram into Venice. Bus to/from airport a 2 minute walk. Good restaurant selection 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. My room was very clean. As a single the room was OK but would not have worked for a couple. My stay was for 4 nights and I missed having drawers to unpack my clothes. The shower was a tiny square and the shower curtain wrapped around you when showering. The staff were very kind. I did not pay for the breakfast option. If one wants to be away from the hustle of a city and do not mind having to first walk to get transportation and eating than this is fine.

Great value for money, clean, breakfast is sufficient, public transport (Venice and the airport,) is just a minute away, staff was very kind and helpful.

Towels were changed daily, even if that really wasn't necessary. Many hotels have a policy nowadays that they only change towels that are left on the floor, perhaps San Carlo could introduce this as well?

Very good location, near tram station. Very clean rooms, they change towels every day. Breakfast is nice and they serve everything, from cheese and salamy to fresh fruit. Pistacio crossans are our favourites!!! People who work there are 24/7 available for you, they are very polite and gave you priceless info about Venice. Hope we will come again!

Nice little boutique hotel. It is very near the trolley that takes you right to Venice Island. You can purchase the tram card at the desk for only 3 euros (roundtrip). The staff also has a map to help you get around. There is a nice cafe right next door to the hotel and a bakery that seems to be busy. The neighborhood is quiet, and there is parking behind the building. We found a vey good wine shop just down the road. They make their own, and you just pay for the bottle.

Nothing hot is on the breakfast menu. Although they do serve a European-style breakfast for 8 euros, buffet style, Be prepared for pastries, cold cuts, and cereals, as well as boiled eggs. It was a good spread; however, we just wanted something hot to eat. Other than that, there were no issues at the hotel, and the staff were all amazing and kind.

Room was nice and clean. The one breakfast we had was good. Location is great. Staff very pleasant.

The water pressure in the shower is rather week. No facilities for smokers who do not want a smoking room. Would be nice to have ashtrays at the entrance of the hotel and maybe even a bench to sit on when one is smoking.
