The Guesthouse is perfectly clean and the room are fairly spacious. There are amenities in the room. Great wifi and we enjoyed the smart TV though in child's room it wasnt smart tv. Breakfast was also good. Receptionist knocked off before we checked-in at 1400hrs however I appreciated that she sent us all check in instructions on whatsapp. security is tight. lovely place

no one was available to check-us in, but all information was at least sent via whatsapp. Even the emergency number was reachable and we got assistance.

Breakfast was really good, Eggs cooked exactly the way they should be. My room was compact but had a very large bed, powerful aircon, coffee station and a mini fridge. I would come stay here again, they made special arrangements for me to book in after normal office hours which were quick and easy. Ample, open parking ideal for bakkies and larger vehicles Communication was great and like I said already, breakfast was amazing.

There was nothing I didn't like. Everything was as expected or exceeded my expectations. My room was spotless and well equipped for my short stay, all staff were friendly and I was comfortable during my stay.

Lovely fresh & clean linen, I enjoyed.

Initially quiet, but became Very noisy when other guests arrive. Can hear the noise when the other guests open & close their room/ bathroom doors . Too hostel like. At breakfast I noticed that the bread was way past expiry date. One expired 25 Dec 2022 & the other 31 Dec 2022. I brought it under the attention of the lady, whom told me that they freeze the bread. Even though it’s unacceptable as it was in the bread packets with the expiry dates served. If it’s frozen, why not serve it in something else, then the guests won’t know it’s expired, but ooh I don’t even expired bread at my house , nor do I freeze it. They had lovely muffins, as I wanted to take one, I noticed how the fruit flies were flying over & on it. Couldn’t they keep it covered with a net or something ?

I was warmly received by the receptionist on arrival. The property is modern with a relaxed atmosphere. The rooms are comfortable with everything a day traveller could need. Television with dstv, bedside power outlets to charge your electronics, barfridge, spacious shower and clean towels. Breakfast in the mornings. A communal lounge for guests to enjoy. Overall I enjoyed the experience and was not in want of anything. It is a place I would easily stay at again

My only negative was that the little cupboard above the fridge was a little too small to hang my shirts.

Breakfast was lovely. Different meat selection each day. Just a bit of wait if you are in a hurry. Location is superb. Property is secure and guests are given remote access. Clean and there is a kitchen where you can cook or heat your own meals.

Receptionist leaves at 17h00 so if you dont bring your own hairdryer, or get back after this time you are stuck with wet hair. No safe in the room. I had the only room with no exterior door which wasn't great, the other rooms do have this facility. The rooms are fairly noisy if you are a light sleeper. A guest who had a dreadful cough was disturbing throughout the night hence I left a night earlier with no refund for the night.

The breakfast was really delicious, and the staff was really helpful as they packed it for me since I could not sit to enjoy it. The room was neat and comfortable. The bible in the wardrobe did come in handy.

The curtains were see through which made me feel a little bit uncomfortable. Also, the TV did not have much options as there was only the DSTV in it, I would have loved to have a variety of options like Netfix, Youtube etc.

We were in Bloem for a hockey tournament. The guesthouse was in a great location. The best part for us was being able to use the kitchen in the evenings so we didn’t have to go out every night. The kitchen / dining area was lovely. The staff were really helpful and nothing was a problem for them. We felt really safe. The beds and bedding were really excellent (and we’re quite fussy 😜). The rooms are all facing the car park, so if you’re an insomniac you might find the noise of people coming home a problem. The biggest room, room number 4 is the most noisy because the cars have to drive past it to get to the parking. This wasn’t a game changer for us and we’d book again if we needed a place close to Grey in Bloemfontein.

Value for money, it does the job! 👌🏽 Safe, closer to malls and other amenities.

The guesthouse is modern and generally clean. However, the cleanliness can be improved. i.e: using a clean mop in the bedrooms & daily cleaning of the eating area. Breakfast is well prepared however, the selection & rotation is very limited, especially for long staying guests.

Neat & tidy

You can hear how the other guests open their bathroom doors, banging/closing it. A bit too noisy. Just as you fall asleep, you hear a bang & voices. Breakfast: Bread was in packets with expired dates, which expired on 25 Dec 2023 & 31 Dec 2023. I pointed it out & lady told me they freeze the bread, even though I’ve seen expired bread that was offered to guests. Muffins were offered, when I wanted to take , the fruit flies were roaming above it, as it was not even covered with a net or something .
