- Tanjot contacted me before our stay and was exceptionally helpful with everything we needed. - While breakfast is not served at the hotel, you do get a voucher to use at one of the cafes close by. - We drove and were able to park very close to the hotel. There is free and paid parking here. - The room was absolutely stunning and we had the most incredible view from our window. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. - When we checked out, we were given great advice about a scenic route to drive through to Siena and it was absolutely gorgeous.

It was the cherry on the top of our long weekend adventure in Tuscany. Valentina is always keep to help you around and always with a big smile. Thanks to her, we stayed longer in Tuscany, allowing us to explore more. The hotel is superb -big fully equipped rooms, lovely amenities, and got a nice view of the valley. The hotel is located just inside the historical centre and a few steps from P1, where we left our car. The breakfast provided, in the nearby Palazzo Avignonesi was great too. Would definitely come back soon.

Everything was amazing.

Excellent location, very near parking at one end of the historical district. Very quiet during the night even with the window open so sleep quality is Excellent The breakfast was served a few doors down at a cafeteria which was excellent in its own right. The staff called and ordered a taxi for the very early departure the next day and the breakfast canteen prepared a take out lunch for travel the next day. Could not be happier

Great location right on the edge of the old town. The hotel is in an old historic building, the rooms are large enough and equipped with everything you need. You can leave your car in the public parking lot a few steps away.

Breakfast is served in a separate café a few steps away. The breakfast selection is very modest - you only get one coffee or tea, one juice and one pastry.

Attractive and comfortable hotel in a great location, just inside the city gate and very close to parking. Plenty of restaurants and wine bars in the immediate vicinity. Very clean and the bathroom was very large.

The management of the hotel was very poor. I had to call several times to figure out how to check-in because I was promised instructions that never came. One morning I met two different couples trying to figure out how to check out because the reception was deserted despite instructions that someone would meet them. Instructions on how to get in at night were poor and I ended up locked out. Fortunately the restaurant across the street was able to help. Also breakfast was very small with no selection. Just juice, coffee and a croissant.

The view of the Tuscan valley from our room was breathtaking. Considering this palace was built 1500 years ago, there is no elevator so the stairs are equally breathtaking :) But wonderful large and comfortable room. Breakfast is traditional Italian - incredible coffee and pastry. Don't miss the unbelievable fresco's in the restaurant painted in the 1500's.

Because we were on the outside of town when we searched for the location, Google maps took us all through the town on streets that we shouldn't have gone on (eventually expecting a ticket in the mail). The hotel is just inside the main gate. If you're not on that side, drive over and park outside the gate before you Google takes you in.

This place is a beautiful-retroachic place. If you are looking for a new-rich-modern don’t stay here. The views from the room were amazing. The staff was amazing. The location is perfect (inside of the town but only a few steps from parking). And had the best pasta of my life just across the street, on a restaurant suggested by the owners (Porta di Baco).

Location was great! Center of Montepulciano with easy access to shopping, food, tours. Daily breakfast was provided at a local cafe which was very convenient.

It was pretty noisy from people enjoying food and wine at nite. Street noise wafts upstairs in the evening until folks turn in for the nite .

This was a last minute booking for us as our other hotel cancelled last minute. We couldn’t have been happier with the location. As the first building at the start of the city it was a perfect location to start and end our day. We had a great view across the Tuscan landscape from our bathroom. Included breakfast with the cafe round the corner was an added bonus. For parking they recommended P1 but on arrival it was super busy. We parked just before the bridge and walked up. This is free parking so that was a bonus.

Great location, close by to parking, comfortable room, breakfast provided a few metres up the street in a lovely cafe.

There’s a small amount of noise from outside as the hotel is by a historic gate into the town but this is minimal when delivery vans need to access Montepulciano at breakfast time.
