Everything! Lovely, welcoming staff. Delicious food for breakfast and dinner, beautiful room and super comfortable and large bed. Nice pool with sea view and you can see turtles in the morning with high tide.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Kardia! The hotel is located in a quieter part of Gili Trawangan – peaceful and relaxing, yet still close enough to enjoy everything the island has to offer. With bikes you can reach anywhere easily (as you can on the whole island), but here we had the perfect mix of calm and activity. The hotel itself is truly beautiful. We especially recommend booking one of the villas in the back – they each have their own swimming pool directly accessible from the room. From the photos we originally thought the pool was shared with all the guests, but it’s actually private for those villas. The restaurant was excellent – very good quality, a wide variety of choices, and a really lovely place to sit and relax. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The staff deserves special mention – they were extremely kind, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. We felt completely at home and taken care of. We stayed for five nights with a group of ten friends, and it was simply a fantastic time. This is a hotel we would definitely recommend to anyone coming to Gili Trawangan – and we will certainly come back ourselves!

Everything about Kardia Resort is truly fabulous. The location is great especially for sunset views. The rooms are elegantly chic and spacious with very comfy beds and anti mosquito measures include: Mosquito nets for the bed, plug in devices, rooms are sprayed at night and twice a week the hotel are fogging the gardens. As a result I didn’t get bitten once (and normally get ravaged). The electric blackout blinds are a great touch to waken and then have an ocean view at the touch of a button. The staff are fantastic and could not be more attentive and caring - the service they provide is genuinely caring and thoughtful and always with a smile. Better than some of the most expensive 5 star hotels around the world. If available make a reservation you’ll be glad you did! 🙏🏼

We booked this hotel last minute and we are so happy we did. There isn’t a single negative thing about this place. It was definitely the highlight of our holiday. First we were very lucky upon arrival, we got a room upgrade to a room with private pool, which was so nice of the hotel. The room was in excellent condition, very clean, comfy beds, the outside shower is a big plus. The breakfast was included and it was delicious, the coffee was top notch barista made. The staff was super nice, always ready to help, we are very thanful to them, they made our stay even better. The pools are amazing, the pool next to the bar has a gorgeous seaview. The sunset are truly amazing from here. We absolutely loved this place!

DID NOT LIKE that people could smoke in the restaurant, we found this very uncomfortable being non-smokers. I understand Indonesia has no laws around smoking, however in a resort this should be re-considered. This made out meals not as enjoyable and we feel we should not have to be exposed to smokers when dinning. The room was excellent, just needs some drawers to put clothes away and it could do with more areas in the bathroom to hang items.

I loved every minute at Kardia. Stayed 3 nights and should’ve stayed 5! The breakfast, cocktails, food was all great. The restaurant/pool area has a great vibe. On the quiet size of the island so a good nights sleep guaranteed. I thought the outdoor bathroom was interesting and has provided some inspiration for our own outdoor entertaining / pool area. Staff were welcoming, friendly, and very accommodating. The back shoulder neck massage is probably the best I’ve ever had. I’d recommend the sea view room. The pool access rooms look quite cool but definitely a quieter part of the resort.

We originally stayed at Kardia Resort for just a weekend during our month on Gili T, but it ended up being one of our favorite spots. After leaving our main stay later in the trip, we didn’t even think twice — we booked our last week back at Kardia. The vibe is relaxed, the food is really good, and the sunsets are great, especially from the restaurant. Everything just feels easygoing and comfortable. What stood out most to us was the staff — super friendly and always happy to help. Not in a formal way, just genuinely kind people who make you feel at home. If you’re looking for a calm, nice place to stay on the island, Kardia’s a solid choice. We’d definitely come back again.

Beautiful hotel on the west side of the island, the quieter and I’d say more upmarket side of the island. We hired bikes so very easy to reach the busy strip by the port, less than 10 minutes. We were upgraded to a water villa which was amazing. Tastefully decorated. Loved the outdoor shower! Stunning pool right by your private terrace and stunning gardens too. The grounds are very well maintained. I really like the fact that they have separate pools for kids and adults. The main pool with comfy day beds, the pool bar, the restaurant. We loved everything. And of course happy hour!

FYI as the bathroom is outside you should expect to share it with the nature which was a frog for us. - Curtains could be washed time to time

This hotel is on the calm side of the island so evening noise is minimal. Just a 15 minute walk to the busy side. Property has sea views and some room rooms with a swim pool. We used the central pool with the swim up bar. Stuff could not do enough for us, food was good, especially breakfast during which we saw lots of turtles in the sea.

Minor niggle that although this hotel is just across the path to the beach, the beach is unusable due to being so rocky. This is in no way the hotels problem and they have made a “beach” with bean bag sun beds on the sea side.
