Great location, great breakfast, nice pools, and the free food tasting every afternoon was very nice!

The staff outside were very pushy, always trying to get you to choose one of their drivers rather than just letting you book it on Grab by yourself. Someone even put their hand on my phone while I was booking a Grab, to make me cancel and take one of their drivers instead, who then tried taking a higher price than the Grab driver. Very annoying behaviour.

This was our splurge to end the holiday with and it was a fantastic stay. Cold drink and towel upon arrival. The pools, gardens and facilities were impressive. Our room looked over the river and it was lovely to relax on the deckchairs whilst watching the life of the river pass us by. Everything we needed in the old town was within walking distance and yet it felt like we were shielded from the hustle and bustle at the accommodation. Buffet breakfast had both Vietnamese and Western options available. My partner informed them of my birthday and the reception provided a beautiful cake, card and bed decoration on the day - definitely a welcome surprise. The rooms do provide large umbrellas which we used a couple of times during the late afternoon storms. The bar fridge, and air conditioning were cold and worked very well. the bed was comfortable with 2 pillows provided.

The location, very close to the Night Market, the old town and the waterfront. The peaceful environment was very calming and restful - an oasis from the rush and bustle close by. It was great to come back from the crowds to such a perfect atmosphere. The room was the most spacious of all the hotel rooms I stayed in Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Hue, and Ho Chi Minh City. Very comfortable - and the bed was huge! Lots of added amenities like the free evening boat ride, the food tasting, and the pool was huge!

2 minor comments: the internet connection seemed to slow down often. I had a Viettel sim card and sometimes had to piggyback my laptop off my phone to get faster internet speeds. The bathroom shower floor is tiled with the same wall tiles and became slippery when wet, so care will be required by anyone who might be unsteady on their feet: I'd suggest putting a grab bar in the shower or a non skid shower mat to make it safer.

My sister and I have stayed at Vinh Hung Riverside Resort several times. My sister uses a wheelchair and going to Vinh Hung Riverside Resort is her annual holiday of choice. The grounds are very well-kept, with beautiful gardens, several pools, and seating with a view of the passing river traffic. Having breakfast in the lovely riverside restaurant is an absolute treat. The buffet caters to many tastes and the service is second-to-none. Dinner is equally special, with lanterns and lights decorating the restaurant, lawns, and cocktail area. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and spotlessly clean, with tasteful furnishings and delightful Vietnamese decor - very inviting. An added extra is the local food served on the lawns each afternoon and the sunset cruise departing from the Resort Jetty. Best of all, though, are the cheerful, friendly, attentive, always helpful staff members. They are all magnificent.

we have now stayed here many times before and after Covid. During Covid there were significant renovations undertaken including a beautiful swimming pool. The staff confirm that their jobs were protected but the place was closed for 2 years. Staff are now being reintroduced to the workforce here in an equitable fostering system to allow as many as possible to come back. The pool is incredible, the rooms are very clean and comfortable and the location is easy walking distance to Ancient Town

The thing we like the least is that we won't be back for at least a year.

Property was BEAUTIFUL. Huge pool, beautiful flowers around the walkways and a view of the river. Included in the stay is local food tasting every night, boat ride on the river and breakfast. Juice upon arrival was a nice touch. Staff was incredibly accommodating. We missed our flight due to visa issues and they easily adjusted our nights of stay. Room was fantastic - great bed and pillows, no bugs. Location is 100% worth it. We were right next to the night market and river with a short walk to the old town area. Every night the river area lights up. It’s all you need. The area around the resort does flood a bit during rainy season. To get a taxi, you will need to walk to the bridge. Make sure you pack a rain jacket or poncho with water shoes. I had flip flops that were fine but you will be walking up to your ankles in water and it will be raining sideways. It was just me and my husband on this trip but we agreed - would definitely come back with our parents.

Very central, night market close by, good pool to relax when had enough walking around in the heat. Variety at buffet breakfast. VERY friendly and accomodating staff. Quiet at night time. Nice open space away from the chaos of Hoi An Old Town. Beautiful resort grounds. Clean apartment.

Considering how hot it was, pool also warmed up and wasn’t super refreshing but better than nothing - some days were worse than others. Bathroom could do with updating - nothing to complain about though.

There's so many things to love about this place. We have stayed here several times and always appreciate the friendly staff and well layed out setting in such a great location. Their offer of free afternoon eating treats and boat ride is generous, the boat ride being a great way to see the area from a different perspective. Two years ago, we were staying at this resort during a super typhoon and witnessed firsthand how the staff worked so well together during their clean-up. It was lovely to feel and see a strong sense of recovery and freshness with all the new lanterns they've put up since then. Being back here was great, and we plan to return again to this delightful resort next year.

What's not to like about this place? The rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious. The outlook from our balcony delightful!

The hotel was clean and inviting. The pool area was great and the bar was even better! We loved our stay and all the staff treated us like family. The hotel was like an oasis in the middle of a very busy area. We could walk to the beach and river/city easily, yet come back to our little piece of paradise after a big day out. I also worked from the room and the internet was high speed. WE loved our stay! Thanks!

It was Lunar New Year and the venue had some parties that were noisy, but we are ealy to bed so they were not late into the night.

Many types of food were offered for Breakfast - by the end of our stay I was having Pho for breakfast instead of cereal and fruit. Members of staff conversed with us to improve their english and made us feel welcome.

Although we loved the swimming pools and made use of the pool side bar, we did wish that the pools were cooler. They seemed to be just like a warm bath, when we would have appreciated something a bit more refreshing. We did however find another smaller pool which was a bit cooler, but hadn't been told about it.
