Great hotel, friendly and helpful reception team. The hotel is in an fantastic location and really close to the old town. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby but in a quiet enough position for sleeping. We booked a driver through the hotel reception to take us to Son Sanctuary which we enjoyed, and also a local guide to take us on a walking tour of Hoi An which was brilliant.

Nothing. Our aircon stopped working and they moved us immediately to another room with no issue.

Very central opposite River, owner lady was very attentive and nice…. Booked and recommended places for us… nice atmosphere, good value for money…would recommend this hotel.😁

A small matter of 20% extra charge for an early check in!!! We arrived off an overnight sleeper bus at 10am .. we were told by the man on reception we couldn’t check in until 12noon unless we paid 20% extra… ( for 2 hours!!! Infuriating🤬) the place wasn’t busy… our room was empty… we left our bags and went for breakfast locally even though we were very tired… felt he could have easily accommodated our request….

Ting at reception was fantastic. As my wife was feeling ill she allowed us a 3 hour early check in and also changed our room to the first floor, so we didn’t have many stairs to climb. The hotel is centrally located in the old quarter with all the attractions it has to offer. Plenty of food around with laundry’s and convenience stores nearby. Fantastic wifi. Breakfast is average but plentiful. Great value for money hotel. Would definitely stay here again

Nothing to complain about

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They suggested us where to visit and where to eat, so that we could make full use of our short stay in Hoi An. The location was excellent and was just a few minutes walk to the river.

The bathroom floor was easily get wet as there was no partition between shower room and bathroom. The hook for the curtain folder was spoiled. The TV screen was blur. It was quite noisy until midnight, as there were bars and karaoke restaurants near the hotel.

The location is perfect. Steps away from the river and restos. The street comes alive at night with the bars and night market. Dozens of food carts offer all sorts of tasty delights. The cocktail carts have all the booze to make a fab drink. You can sit by the river and enjoy watching the boats glide by lit up with stunning lanterns. We recieved the warmest welcome upon arrival. The rooms are very clean all be it a bit small but comfortable. The shower has plenty of hot water and great water pressure. A small buffet breakfast is provided. Lovely indoor pool to cool off in. The staff are friendly and very helpful.

The stairs. I'm not a fan and we were on the 3rd floor. Should've requested a lower level. The aircon could do with an upgrade.

My stay at the Holden River Hotel in Hoi An was nothing short of magical. A fabulous hotel, tucked away on a very quiet Hoi A side street, but just a few steps away from the hustle and bustle of the night market, the river and the town centre. For a budget hotel, it oozes quality, very cool comfortable rooms, with high quality fittings and bathrooms. The staff are incredibly helpful, Ms Duong arranged a very reasonable transfer from the hotel to Da Nang Train Station. It was at a lower cost than Grab. Ms Duong is a very lovely lady, very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is in perfect location right next to the old town and the river where you can get the lantern boats. The rooms are comfy and a good size. The lady on reception couldn’t have been more helpful. She was so friendly to us and gave us advice on where to go and restaurants to eat at. Really appreciated her kindness. Thank you

Fantastic location. Fun area. The staff were very helpful. I had a bad stomach and the women there became my Mom and doctor, she kept the ginger tea coming and cooked for me special. Very caring people. Showers were hot, air con worked well and breakfast was good.

Love the location quiet ally off the river front near centre, staff were friendly and helpful and rooms where clean, a very refreshing cold pool great for cooling off with the humidity

Beds were a little hard for my liking, and door to balcony was difficult to open close, there wasn’t much choice for breakfast but staff were happy to cook an omelette for us as we came down late due to packing up on our last day. A little noisy at night and early morning but it’s all a parley of being in a amazing place
