Cozy rooms with minimalist style liked, the view was so good. Really clean! (which sometimes rare in Istanbul hotels). The furnitures were new (in the room, corridor, lobby, lobby restaurant zone). These details like : coffee capsules in the room, furniture, smell of the flowers near the reception center, not only typical Turkish breakfast, compliment desserts into the room, wheelchair in spa.

There is no selection of foreign wines by the glass on the wine list unfortunately (as like Italy, France or so on; Sauvignon Blanc, DOC, DOCG). Like in the lobby, so in the restaurants upstairs too. (Not everyone can drink a bottle, but can drink 1-2 glasses of good wine easily).

The staff first and foremost were very hospitable and went above and beyond to help us during our stay. we upgraded to a high floor room with Bosporus view (much nicer than the one we originally reserved) for a little extra. The restaurant on rooftop has a beautiful view and the lobby cafe are both nice and worth trying. In terms of logistics, the location is still relatively close to the centre and grabbing a cab from the hotel is very easy so didn’t require a car to move around. Besiktas harbour only 5 mins away by car and Zorlu Centre 10 min walk away.

The only thing I’d mention is to add Netflix (and other apps) compatibility to the TV for international guests, and to provide the tea bags and coffee capsules free of charge as a nice touch for guests.

We had a fantastic stay at the Mövenpick Hotel Bosphorus during our weekend trip to Istanbul. The hotel is modern, clean, and well-located—close to the Bosphorus and the lively Ortaköy area, but still peaceful and relaxing. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful view, and the breakfast each morning was excellent—fresh, varied, and generous. What really stood out, though, was the service. The concierge team was exceptional—friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful. They even arranged a surprise birthday cake for my son, which was such a thoughtful gesture and really made our trip extra special. We also took full advantage of the spa facilities, which were fantastic. The sauna, steam room, cold plunge shower, and swimming pool were all spotlessly clean and a great way to unwind after a busy day of sightseeing. It was a real highlight of our stay. It’s the kind of attention to detail and quality that makes a hotel memorable. We left with great memories and would absolutely recommend the Mövenpick to anyone visiting Istanbul. We’d love to return.

I found the Mövenpick Istanbul Bosphorus elegant and comfortable. The location was very convenient. The staff were very friendly, supportive and helpful, especially house keeper staff and their supervisor, where they provide the necessary services immediately with their beautiful smile, keeping the hotel rooms and facilities very clean . Breakfast was good, delicious and varied. Definitely Mövenpick Istanbul Bosphorus will be my home when I visit Istanbul in the near future.

Honestly , there was not much that disturbed my staying at the hotel.

This is my second visit to this hotel. I feel like I am at home. It is extremely clean and all the employees are friendly without exception. I have visited many hotels in Istanbul and it is one of the top 10 hotels for me in Istanbul. The wellness and spa center is wonderful and comfortable, and all its employees are from East Asia and professionals. They have an Italian restaurant on the last floor with a panoramic view of the Bosphorus Strait. I recommend visiting it. Regards ,

The downside is that it is on a main street, so guests who are disturbed by the sounds of cars prefer to take a side or back room

I recently stayed at the Mövenpick Hotel in Istanbul, and it was an exceptional experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. The food was a highlight, offering a delicious and diverse menu that catered to all tastes. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, ensuring a relaxing stay. I highly recommend Mövenpick Hotel for anyone visiting Istanbul – it truly exceeded my expectations in every way.

It was neat, smelt good. The room was spacious and heating system worked well. The gym and swimming pool are good. Spa is beautiful and the staff are very courteous. The breakfast was beautifully set out and there was quite a variety of pastries, cheese, fruits and vegetables. Resolution of issues were also very prompt, thorough and to my satisfaction.

I didn’t like that the staff don’t offer to help unless you ask in most cases. I extended my stay for two extra days and I wasn’t told I would need a change of card after my initial booking ends. I got into the lift and my card refused to work. I had to go back to the reception to complain before I was told I needed a change of card due to the extension. I wasn’t happy because the staff at the reception saw me before going into the lift and said nothing to me. I got back with several bags of packages daily for 3 days, it was only on the third day that someone helped with my packages. They just watched as I carried all the packages by myself without offering to help.

The staff was extremely friendly and hospitable. They went out of their way to make sure we were enjoying our stay. When they messaged to check on us, we gave a recommendation for improvement. They took our feedback and immediately tried to make our stay even better. The location was great with a lot of places to eat nearby. We recommend the Tocka pub around the corner.

It would have been helpful to have English channels since everything was in Turkish. Also, we were expecting a much better breakfast and have had better breakfasts at Movenpicks in different countries.
