The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The beds were comfy. The breakfast was better, and had a much larger selection than other hotels offering continental breakfast. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful! Both Marlys (when checking in) and Emma (I believe…the senior citizen working in the morning) went above and beyond being helpful and friendly! If we are in the area again, we would definitely stay there!

The only thing I didn’t like was the light switch. The lights bedside the beds turned off by the entryway door switch. So you had to turn the switch off by the door, and walk to your bed in the dark.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I liked that it was close to some restaurants and the river, and it was a short walk or drive into town.

The breakfast had plenty of items to choose from, but most were processed and pre-packaged in plastic. Plates, cutlery, and cups were all disposable. Too much fake food and waste for me. I ate elsewhere. The TV in the lobby was always on and very loud. It didn't bother me in my room, but it bothered me when I was going in and out of the hotel.

It was clean and welcoming. The room was comfortable and very clean, beds comfortable. The hot tub was a perfect temperature, sometimes the water is too hot to even get in. Breakfast was adequate, although at 8am, not much was left in terms of toast and muffins. I liked the omelette maker.

The bathtub had tape strips to keep it from being slippery but not enough and not in the right place. The shower curtain was so long it was easy to step on it. I really did appreciate the safety grab bar!

Convenient location for bicycling downtown…close to West End attractions (like delightful Wisteria Twig tea shop (-:) Enjoyed the hot tub, lined view away from bust road…Enjoyed breakfast, particularly make-your-own omelette option. Staff was very friendly and helpful, Jill in particular offered great suggestions and information about local attractions.

Honestly can’t think of anything I didn’t like…elevator might be nice as I travel with TOO much STUFF, but was ALWAYS offered assistance if needed getting things up the stairs

We stayed an extra night to enjoy the hot tub, but it was too cold. Staff contacted maintenance but the hot tub was not fixed until later that night, so we were unable to use it. The Assistant Manager gave us a discount on our last night's stay due to the inconvenience. She was very understanding and polire.

Staff has always been accommodating hosts for at least 3-4 stays at this location. Our grandchildren have been welcomed and treated as guests as they visited us. Check ins or out time variance requests were usually met with a friendly "no problem" and once with an understandable explanation of a time constraint. Overall a pleasant home away. Property meets expectations, staff makes it exceed them.

The complementary breakfast was was okay, but definitely over stated. There was an omlette maker onsite, but not many choices of what to put on it. Some ham and veggies, like mushrooms and /or tomatoes would have been nice. Only bacon bits, onions and cheese provided. Would have liked to see hot chocolate pouches out for the non coffee drinkers. I understand the trains can't be moved, but they came through at 4AM and again at 5AM. Rough when you are trying to catch some ZZZZ's

This is an excellent hotel for the price! It is well-maintained and clean. It is easy to access, and in walking distance to shops, good places to eat (Kelly’s Tap House), the bike path, and to the river. We liked that our room had a small fridge and microwave. We didn’t use the pool, but it looked very nice. The desk staff were pleasant and nice in appearance. Nice breakfast options, and we loved the omelette maker for breakfast! What a thoughtful addition for folks who can’t have gluten or are watching carbs.

Clean nice - staff was kind and courteous - we returned after moving away three years ago and we were nervous but you truly made our trip pleasant! Loved on site laundry, pool area clean and nice, water and ice available, and breakfast was amazing with a wide selection including omelets and waffles!

The front desk staff was exceptionally friendly and explained everything offered and beyond which is usually not the service expected from a two star hotel

The hot tub in the room had bath salt in it from previous uses. This concerned me it had not been cleaned as well as fibers floating in the water when filled, which could of been from a cleaning rag but theybwere blue in color. Bed was VERY worn out
