Continental breakfast items such as toast, bagels, rolls were available along with juice and coffee. We only had coffee and milk, so I couldn’t speak to anything beyond that as to the quality of the items but the breakfast area was kept very neat and tidy during our stay. The beds and pillows were comfortable, the rooms were clean and tidy as well. Unlike a recent stay at a Super 8 in Wisconsin, each day the staff would make up our beds, empty trash and refresh towels, which were soft and comfortable to use unlike some I have encountered at other hotels. Parking was convenient and the hotel is within a five minute walking distance of numerous eating and drinking establishments that were quite enjoyable. We chose to drive into town to have breakfast and a specialty coffee at Mandy’s, which was quite enjoyable. The Inn isn’t a fancy, five star hotel/resort but it wasn’t intended to be such. It is a good, well maintained, clean and comfortable place to sleep. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there in the future and I feel very comfortable recommending it to other travelers.

I can’t think of anything that could be improved upon for the price point of this hotel.

Comfortable room and great staff it would behoove them to tell people when they check in how the shower works cause it’s really quite different from what I’m used to. I had to find a YouTube video because I was too embarrassed to actually go and ask the front desk. The staff is very pleasant and breakfast was fine. The coffee was very hot. I appreciated that.

I usually appreciate there being some nice outdoor sitting spot. I travel alone and often get takeout for dinner and it would be nice to be able to sit outside to eat. This hotel is on a strip of hotels with no real good places to sit outside however it’s in close proximity to several lovely parks. I asked the checkout staff in the morning for a recommendation on someplace. I should visit in Red Wing before I leave and she suggested specific park with a overlook over town and Mississippi river and it was a very nice place to visit so I’m glad she recommended that.

Our room was very clean and we were able to check in a bit early due to an ice storm. The hotel was full, but it was quiet. Breakfast was pretty good and the staff maintained the dining area well. I was up really early and enjoyed reading my book by the fireplace in the entry area. Beds and pillows were comfortable. The staff had a hard time keeping up with the ice in the parking lot and on the sidewalks, but they were up against some nasty ice that appeared so quickly.

Bananas were green and there wasn't any other fruit for breakfast. Refrigerator wasn't ready for use initially, but the staff rectified that situation upon request.

Breakfast overall was fine, however construction workers had loaded up and taken the water bottles so there was no bottled drinking water the second morning of our stay. They also ran out of coffee. Food selection was adequate, however I have seen to some motels that had a much greater selection of pastries and cereals, as well as bacon and sausage.... but then it wasn't really needed, just different, and not worth paying any extra for.

The room was fine. Windows sealed well and there wasn't much noise from Hwy 61 so it was worth it. The HVAC wasn't as noisy as some places so this was a major benefit. Wish there was an exhaust fan in the bathroom. Room was super clean and decent.

Good location, quiet room, comfortable bed & good pillows, all seemed very clean. The swing-out magnifying mirror in the bathroom was great to have. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel.

TV froze up a lot. Our son stayed in a different room and said his TV did the same. Coffee from downstairs wasn't good. The tiny bathroom vanity had no space to set down hair appliances or toiletries. A large mirror over the desk would make it useful as a dressing table. Thought room price was a bit high.

Lovely little inn just an easy walk or drive to the main part of town. Right near several restaurants. Huge bonus that it included breakfast. Rooms were spotless and very comfortable. TV has cable so that was great for the late evening when winding down.

My only gripe (and it's a small one) is that all the cutlery and crockery in the dining area was disposable. I'm really over eating off paper plates and using plastic forks.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. the location was within walking distance of several restaurants and a nice park. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We thought the value of the room excellent.

TV was a bit on the small side but worked well. No other concerns.

The location in the West End was good. The rate was very good. Staff members were personable and very responsive when asked questions and during check-in and checking out.

The breakfast bar was okay but limited in cereal selections and a bit unorganized the first morning, but staff was quick to find things. The first floor hallway was exceptionally cold to the pointvof being uncomfortable.

the place was awesome. the staff was totally friendly and welcoming. i go down to red wing 3 to 5 times a year and stay a weekend so will be back.

was disappointed that there wasn't a microwave in the room but it is still good

Don't let the low price deter you from grabbing this gem....definitely underpriced. Great breakfast, large clean room, easy parking and friendly staff. Nice walk along the river to downtown. Liberty Restaurant has good food and reasonable prices....very family friendly. Wish we could have stayed another day.
