My stay at this hotel was excellent. The entire property is spotlessly clean—there’s no trace of detergent or any other odour, which I found remarkable. Although the hotel operates with self-check-in via its app, every staff member I interacted with was courteous and efficient. The rooms are decorated in a tasteful colour palette that clearly shows an attentive eye for design. Breakfast and coffee were perfectly adequate to start the day. Street parking is conveniently available right in front of the hotel; you simply pay via the TPark app, by SMS, or at the nearby meter, and I never had trouble finding a space. I will definitely return to this hotel!

The only minor drawback was the absence of a vending machine in the lobby with bottled water, soft drinks, or light snacks. There is a water dispenser, but the water was cold and tasted a bit stale. Also be aware of Brașov’s parking rules: outside the paid-parking hours you can’t pay via SMS or the TPark app, so you’ll need to either set an alarm for 8 a.m. to pay when enforcement resumes (I don't like waking up at 8 a.m. while on vacation), or find a nearby pay-and-display machine. This inconvenience is caused by city regulations, not by the hotel itself.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Brasov in Romania and I must say, it was a truly fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a genuine desire to make my stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was spotless, and the overall decor was tasteful and inviting. The staff at Hotel Brasov were attentive and friendly, always willing to assist with any requests or questions I had. The amenities were top-notch, including a delicious breakfast spread each morning and a cozy lounge area where I could unwind after a day of exploring the city. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better experience at Hotel Brasov. If you're looking for a wonderful place to stay in Romania, I highly recommend this hotel. You won't be disappointed!

The hotel offers an online check-in which given our late arrival was vital. We were able to register the details prior to arriving, and then open doors, and access the room off a mobile phone. A great system for a 24 hour reception. Check-out worked in a similar way, needing no keys. Breakfast was provided which was appreciated, together with tea and coffee. The hotel is a convenient 10 minute walk from Brasov station along well lit roads.

Although the price is good by British standards, its a bit more than I'd normally pay in Romania, although accept that in cities, prices will be more expensive. Other than that, can't fault the hotel, and will happily stay here again.

Room was clean and roomy. Had a safety deposit box. Plenty to eat at breakfast, cereal, pancakes, usual selection of meats, cheese, eggs and pastries. Nice and quiet during our stay. Bit out of town but we are walkers so it didn't bother us and there were plenty cafes around the hotel. Quite near the train station which was handy. Also had a mini fridge which was great.

Coffee machine was a bit challenging but the receptionist came to help! Also had a slight problem with receiving the check-in code, think it was because the previous guests hadn't checked out online. Luckily there was someone at the reception to help. Kettle would have been nice.

The hotel was in a good location for the train station and about a 30 minute walk to the Old Town which was beautiful. The room was a decent size with a good size ensuite. The staff were very friendly and let us drop our bags in our room early.

The air con wasn't very effective and the room was incredibly hot. It said 24/7 tea and coffee making facilities in the salon but the coffee machine was turned off out of breakfast time hours. There was a machine for hot water but you have to provide your own coffee, black tea and milk.

Hotel Brasov is .modern, clean and cozy. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast is also good, with cereal, hot breakfast, fruit, bread, cheese and ham. The staff was only seen at breakfast, as I only stayed a night. They were very friendly.

My son found his sofa bed too soft. Free parking is very limited and is behind the hotel, which we didn't initially find. Then it was always filled so we had to pay to public parking on the road. We had no frigobar.

The room was spacious, clean, warm and the bathroom was clean with environmentally-friendly soap dispensers. Wi-Fi worked great, breakfast was diverse and tasty. Reception staff was helpful and friendly. Cleaning staff did an excellent, consistent job, they are well trained. The hotel has an unusual room entry system: upon providing email address, one checks in online and receives a numerical code for room entry. Location is somewhat of a walk (30 min) to the old city, but it is half way between train station and the old town. There is a supermarket nearby. There was a refrigerator, but no tea kettle in the room.

I had no major issues, except sharing a breakfast room for two mornings with a >20-people gang of super loud Italians with kids. During one night, there was a dog barking from one of the nearby houses. The mattress was somewhat soft for me, but it is often so in eastern Europe.

Room was clean and tidy. Cleaned every day. Good condition. Mini bar was excellent addition as was the safe to keep valuables/cash safe. Beds very comfortable. A/C worked well to keep room nice temperature. Quiet too despite the road itself being busy. Breakfast was very good. Continental with cereals, hot and cold meats, pastries etc... Help yourself so you could have as much as you liked. Excellent coffee. I did not see any tea but there was hot water so you could bring your own tea bags if needed. The hotel itself is about 30 minutes walk from the old town but taxis are cheap (compared to the UK) costing £2-3 for the trip into the old town and at most £4-5 anywhere in the town.

Nothing for me personally although my wife would have liked tea/coffee making facilities in the room of which there were not. There were not many plug sockets available although the double socket we had did also have a couple of USB charging ports so we managed fine but if anyone has need of lots of sockets they may struggle. Very minor things which did not detract from an excellent stay.

The room was cozy and clean. We were comfortable, had a good rest, and relaxed during the day. The breakfast is delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful. Everything in the hotel looks clean and well kept. This was a great stay and Hotel Brasov will be our next stop for when we visit some other time.

There is no elevator, which is only a problem if you need to take heavy luggage up the winding stairs. But there are only 2 floors, so it's not really that bad. There is a parking lot, but it only fits about 5 cars. The alley you drive through is narrow and may be blocked by cars parked on the public street. Still, pretty manageable situations if people leave their numbers in the window.

Amazing value for money, basic hotel where everything is a good quality clean and comfortable.

I booked late with little notice. It took some time to gain access with remote codes as it isn’t always staffed. Easily resolved with a phone call though. No lift, so if you’re incapable of lifting your own bags you will struggle with stairs.
