Location, room size, spa facilities, warm floors in the bathroom

In my opinion, it is not OK to ask customers to use same towels in the SPA as in the room or rent them for 3 EUR. It is 4 star hotel at the end. I am fine with cleaning on request but if you position yourself as SPA hotel you should provide the service in full.

Breakgfast was good, even better than before an rooms are vlean and tidy

Special saunas in spa sae not always working properly. Aroma is missing in aroma sauna and steam in steam sauna. Pools are good though.

The hotel is located in a very convenient spot. The SPA is unlimited for the hotel guests and has 4 different saunas, jacuzzi, swimming pool. I would say the swimming pool is very family friendly, as it is only 120 cm deep. The online registration is very convenient, didn't have to deal with any queues or long registration.

The temperature in the room can be set to as low as 20 Celsius, but not any lower, which is still too hot for sleeping, although it's a personal preference. The staff at the SPA registration desk gave the vibe of "couldn't care less". Also, didn't warn us that we will need the wristbands to open the lockers. Had to go back and get them ourselves, once we realized it's the only way. Left an overall bad impression.

We enjoyed our stay at the Metropol spa hotel. It’s in walkable distance to the old town and most museums etc. The room was clean and the breakfast buffet had everything you needed for a good start to the day. My check-in went smoothly and the staff member was welcoming.

The only downside was the overall service. We got the feeling that most of the staff didn’t really care to be very hospitable. On several occasions the spa was overtaken by families with children that were really loud and jumped into the pool. There was no way to relax there after a day of being out and about. Unfortunately the staff didn’t care to enforce the spa rules and etiquette. At check out we brought this up to the person at the reception and we didn’t get a satisfying answer. As someone working in the service industry I hoped for a more professional response like „I’m sorry you couldn’t relax at the spa and isn’t our policy to not enforce the rules.“ instead the only thing they said was „We will talk to the staff.“

The location of the hotel is very good because there are very good restaurants and wine bars in the immediate vicinity. However, the old town is about a 15-minute walk away. The beds were very comfortable. However, there are two single beds that are pushed together, leaving a gap. If I was traveling with my partner, I would find this very annoying. The breakfast is very ok in terms of range and quality.

I find it inconvenient that the sauna can only be used with swimwear. I find it unhygienic that guests do not use towels to sit on in the sauna. The towels in the spa area cost extra. I think at least one towel could be included. Apart from that, the spa area is nicely done. There should be more space at the breakfast buffet and the first guest tables should not be so close to it.

The hotel is lovely, the spa was great, good options for breakfast.

Coffee (breakfast and specialty coffee) wasn’t very good and generally the staff was not helpful or friendly, except one lady at reception. The wellness center staff was especially unhelpful and unknowledgeable regarding their own hotel rules or facilities available for the guests and didn’t make an effort to make our stay nice. We had quite an unfortunate experience in that regard. The spa is very nice though, but the massage therapist I had wasn’t up to par.

Location is excellent. The hotel is located on a nice quiet square with many eating/drinking/shopping options. Few minutes walk to old town and easy access to tram/bus/ferry terminal. The room was clean and in very good condition with the basic/minimum amenities. The floor in the bathroom was heated. The breakfast was ok, a buffet with various options.

The amenities in the room were the basic minimum. The bed was not comfortable, just a thin foam layer instead of a mattress. I believe this is unacceptable for such a high price hotel. There is a temperature controller in the room but you cannot really control the temperature according to your needs as is 20-25 °C both for cooling and heating simultaneously.

Fantastic choice of hotel. Great location just 5 mins walk from the old town. The reception staff were really friendly and helpful. Rooms were nice and clean. The spa is the highlight on the 2nd floor. Great choice of jacuzzis and saunas. We chilled here for several hours. Great stay however and would stay again , the spa is great and also is the restaurant.

The only downside is they put two single beds together with two single pieces of bedding. Double bed should mean double bed. I hope they take this into consideration.

The facilities were excellent, the service outside the spa was impeccable, and we truly enjoyed the atmosphere.

I had an unpleasant experience with the spa staff. I forgot my robe when heading for a treatment and asked my partner to bring it to the spa reception. The receptionist refused to pass it on and even tried to charge him for a new robe. When I confronted her after my partner managed to give it to me directly, she pretended it was a misunderstanding. It clearly wasn’t, and it ruined our morning.

Spa are was amazing, clean and warm. With a nice view. Hotel is located right next to old town. With easy access to restaurants and shops. Also next to hotel is located amazing area with shops and restaurants. Hotel has private underground parking with easy access to hotel. Room was very spacious and clean. Would definitely recommend to stay and enjoy the town. Breakfast was also very good and would recommend to book with the room. Room also had own mini bar with good drinks of choice.
