The best hotel we ever stayed at! We travel a lot in Europe and have never seen this kind of luxury anywhere else. We were greeted with a glas of bubbly wine when we checked in. The staff was extremely friendly and their only mission was to make our stay as great as they possibly could and they succeed with that. The breakfast is fantastic! You order how you want your eggs done or if you want scrambled eggs, omelette etc etc. The pool area is very nice even though we didn't use it. It's very close to the beach. You can see a part of the beachwalk from the room. The room was spotless and everything you can need is there. There is also a minibar and safe. The bed was very comfortable. They have a garage with a Tesla destination charger wich was reserved to us during our stay. All other hotels have a lot to learn from the staff here. Stars means nothing if you can't live up to them. The staff here was top notch as well as the hotel itself. They gave us lots of ideas what to do around there and wrote notes to us so we could find it. If you are thinking of going to Makarska or the surroundings you must book here! It's worth every euro.

Absolutely Exceptional – A Stay to Remember! We are still here at Hotel Ani in Makarska (leaving tomorrow), but I couldn’t wait to share how incredible this experience has been. From the moment we arrived, everything has been perfect — the room, the views, the food, the spa and privacy policy, the service… simply everything! The hotel itself is beautiful, spotlessly clean, and wonderfully designed with comfort in mind. The pool area is peaceful and relaxing, and the breakfast is fresh, varied, and delicious. What truly made our stay unforgettable, however, is the staff. Everyone has been kind, welcoming, and professional, but we would especially like to thank Marijana. Her warmth, attention to detail, and genuine care for guests go far beyond expectations. We are deeply grateful for everything she’s done to make our stay so special. If you're considering a stay in Makarska, don't think twice — Hotel Ani is a gem. I’m already looking forward to coming back!

Our room was very modern, spacious, clean and well equiped with everything you need. Bathroom was also spacious, with good shower. Room had a big terrace with a view to the Biokovo and the sea. Hotel has a great parking garage underneath it, we felt our car was safe at all times, and covered with shade. Only donwside is that parking is not in the price of the stay (10e per day). Location is good, close to the beaches and about 15-20min walk to the old town. It is a bit uphill, but distance from the main bordwalk is short. There is also a supermarket across the road, which is very useful. Breakfast was also pretty good with enough options, but it is pretty much same every day, with some different options every morning - still, we enjoyed it every time. Staff was extremely polite and helpful and always available. Hotel has a great pool also, and lounge area and a bar. They have spa & gym which we didn't use.

Fridge is actually a mini bar which is quite hard to fit bigger bottles of water or even drinks into, we really wished for it to be more spacious, so we can cool our water and drinks more quickly. A few more hangers for towells would also be appriciated.

Small hotel with wvery amanities you can think of. 5 star service from the greeting of staff to the end of the stay. This hotel is a real gem! Rooms are comfortable, modern, well-layed-out, soacious with spectacular views! Comfortable beds, huge terrace as well. Nice pool area, superb breakfast. Only 3 minutes from the beach and 10 min walk from the old town of Makarska. We will certainly be back!

We wished we could hav stayed longer

Staff was really excellent. When we arrived, Mariyana helped us with evertrhing. She was very friendly and explained everything we needed to know. Alsof her collegeaus were very nice, attentive and friendly. Really good hotel, nice and clean rooms, parking for.your car, great location. The option for a small bite at the pool (Olives, cheese and ham) would have made.it perfect. But without that we also had a great stay!!!

We had an amazing stay at this Hotel. The moment we arrived you could tell the hotel presented itself to a very high standard. The staff were all so professional, friendly and helpful (special mention to Marjana and the young man). The room and facilities were all spotless and kept in great condition. In regards to the location we loved it. With it being only a 2 minute walk to the beach. All in all this hotel is managed at a very high standard. Thanks for an amazing stay we would 100% recommend to anyone.

Great hotel that is slightly set back from the seafront, which means you avoid the noise from all the restaurants and bars. Good size rooms. Bathroom with rain shower and Rituals products. Very good and lagre double bed. Towels are changed every day, and the hotel offers free loan of beach towels for use by the pool or on the beach. Great breakfast with a good selection is included in the stay. What makes the hotel unique, is the wonderful staff. They do everything to ensure you have a great stay. This was our second stay at Hotel Ani and we are already longing to return.

First class breakfast. Everything was a five star level. I have never experienced such attentive and polite staff and service.It was like they owned the place.Loved the pool area- just what we needed when it was too hot to be at the beach. The ambient music, infinity edge and undercover area were perfect. Great location-while not beachfront, it was only 100m to the closest beach.

The towels were definitely overdue to be replaced.

They upgraded our room and It was perfect, big room Staff was so nice Location is 15mins walking to the center 5 mins walking to the beach Cosmetics in the hotel was good quality

There were no umbrellas in the pool which makes you unable to use all day. Breakfast could be more diverse Parking / Garrage is 10eur/day which I would expect it to be in hotel price.

The breakfast was good both the cold food (yogurt, milk, cereals) and the cooked food (different type of eggs). It was enough and good. The location is perfect, it is a couple of minutes walk from the beach and only a short walk from the city center or the ferry to Island of Brac. You can find many restaurants nearby. The quality of the hotel and the clean is exceptionell and for a surprise they had an electric car charger which could I used.

For me the matress was a little bit soft.
