Not warning us to avoid Zagrebacki taxi - Zagreb taxi i transfer on the streets, as they charge 4-5 times more than normal taxis and do not warn costumers in advance (and calling the police does not help). Their cabs can be identified by the castle logo on top of the car.

Staff were really helpful and our room was clean and comfortable. We were given complimentary water every day, which we really appreciated. Breakfast was excellent. We were there for 3 nights so we didn't have enough time to make use of all the facilities. We also had a very early flight and were given a packed breakfast, which was really nice to have!. Perhaps furniture/room decor could be modernised. A good coffee machine in the breakfast area would be a plus - at least I didn't see one and just used the kettle and coffee/tea provided in the room, which was also good to have. We would definitely return!

The Westin Zagreb is located in a busy area a short distance from downtown Trg. Street cars available aross street for a quick transfer over for kess tha 1E pp. Beautifull interior with warm ambience. Great amenities including expansive gym with some best equipment on market. Large locker rooms, showers, access to 2 saunas...huge indoor heated swimming pool...plenty perimeter room with loungers. Modernized room is large with high quailty furntire and finishes. Timeless wood tones and elegant draperies provide a tranquil ambience. Bed, pillows, linens will ensure restfull sleep. Linens, towels and toiletries are truly top. Room service prompt with all dishes ariving hot and tasty. All staff courteous, professional and eager to assist with any matter. Lobby and cafe areas ideal for chilling and business meetings. Overall highly recommened, partcularily in comparison to other hotel offerings in tbe area! Value easily exceeds cost!

Exterior facade looks a bit tired and some neighboring buildings in rough shape. Buffet breakfast could use price reconsideration from 25E...especially for youth. Bonvoy members should at minimum receive preferential pricing. Breakfast quality is however excellent.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at The Westin Zagreb. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, professional, and accommodating. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, offering a great view and all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. We particularly appreciated the hotel’s excellent location—just a short walk to the city centre, museums, and restaurants. The wellness facilities were a great bonus, especially the gym and swimming pool.

While our overall experience was very positive, the hotel decor and furnishings could use a bit of modernizing. Some parts of the property show signs of age, but this didn’t significantly impact our comfort or enjoyment.

Fantastic hotel - beautiful as soon as you enter. Our room was large, lots of space and super comfortable. Lots of towels and cosy bed. Hairdryers, slippers and dressing gowns provided. Great powerful shower too. The gym is great, we didnt use it this time but its quite large and has loads of top equipment and its really spacious and clean. We did use the swimming pool and sauna which was great. It does tend to get a bit busy in the pool but it was really lovely and has 2 saunas too. We also opted to get a massage, normal prices and it was ok. The location is excellent, around 20 mins away from the airport by taxi, and Zagreb has Bolt and Uber so its certainly convenient. Its also about a 15 min walk into the main bit of lower town, though there are plenty of nearby amenities. Ideal location for us. Staff were really friendly. Always helpful and so nice. On our last day, they extended our check out by a few hours for free. We still had about 4 hours before our flight and they gave us access to use the pool facilities even though we had checked out. The unexpected highlight was that every day at around 6pm/7pm, room service would come round with some complimentary chocolates and water. It was so cute and would always make my evening. If we weren't in, they would leave it in our room :)

Everything was great. The only small issue I had was that the pillows were a bit too soft and uncomfortable, but I wouldnt rate the hotel lower for that.

From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming, professional, and always ready to assist with anything I needed. The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable—exactly what I needed after long and busy workdays. The signature Westin bed lived up to its reputation, providing restful and uninterrupted sleep every night. The hotel’s location is ideal, just a short walk from the city center and easily accessible to all major spots in Zagreb. The business facilities were excellent and made my meetings run smoothly and efficiently. Breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of fresh options, and the atmosphere throughout the hotel was calm and elegant. Overall, The Westin Zagreb exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend it for anyone traveling for business or leisure. I will definitely return on my next visit to Zagreb.

Exceptional location on multiple useful tram lines and walking distance of the town center. The staff were very attentive and when we had an issue with midges that had got into the room (on the 14th floor) they solved it as quickly and efficiently as possible

I know the hotel is being upgraded, we were on an older style floor so there were some stains and marks on the walls and the carpet in the corridor was rucked up in various places which could be a trip hazard for older guests.

Pool is cosy but has bad odour, lockers did not worked. Bed was on wheels and it was moving all time during sleep. Tables in breakfast full of plates and glasses. It was written that they serve Halal food but it is not possible if you serve together with pork or if you cook the food in the same plates with pork meat. Every day same food. It was not written ingredients in meals so you have to ask if you do not eat some specific meals due to sever reasons beside allergy Heating system could not be set and it was very hot during night and if you open window it was noisy as railroad is in close distance Why it is 5 star hotel is question?

The hotel was very nice and minutes away from the city core. We were greeted by Kristian who was very professional and surprised us by including breakfast during our stay which was very appreciated especially after we had it the following day, it was a great breakfast of hot and cold offering including a fresh egg station. Our room was nice and our cleaning lady made sure we had all that we needed. We even had room service during our stay and it was good and delivered quickly.

Our only dissapointment was that the pool was closed for renovations and we always choose hotels with pools to relax our legs after a long day of walking and we missed that!

Great location - easy walking distance to everywhere in the city. Lovely welcome. Room was good size and beds were very comfortable. Free bottles of water were provided every day along with chocolates, apples and a free bottle of wine on arrival. 24 hour room service available if required. Bathrobes and toiletries provided.

Couldn't complain really. I would prefer a step in shower as the shower was in the bath but that's just a preference. The shower was lovely - great pressure and warmth.
