The bathroom in the room was its downfall. A very strange sliding dividers for the bathroom area offering poor privacy and the toilet and shower were next to each other in a glass partition giving no privacy with a terrible sliding glass door going between the two small areas. A large bath in the area using up a lot of the space. Not a pool bar as such. The beach was packed and no toilets at the beach so a 10 minute walk back to the pool toilets

The hotel grounds were beautiful and access to the beach was fairly close. The beach was beautiful. There were multiple nice pools and plenty of food options. The spa was excellent, my wife really enjoyed that. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had plenty of options. Valet parking was included which was nice.

The bathrooms in the rooms were a little too open concept, a little more privacy would have been good. The “resort view” rooms were good, but our particular view just overlooked the front entry/parking lot. While it wasn’t an issue for me, the beach access does involve a lot of stairs which could be problematic for some people. The beach chairs also seemed kind of expensive (€30-50), it would be great if this was included. Food was on the expensive side. One other issue was the trex pool decking around the pool had a tendency to get extremely hot in the sun, hotter than concrete, and that could be a safety issue, especially for kids.

The quality of the service that the staff provides is excellent - very attentive and kind. It’s clean, well maintained and organised. The Japanese restaurant is okay but still has a lot to learn compared to the quality of their competitor Yakuza at the Pine Cliffs. Probably the best restaurant they have is the Italian. The AlQimia is also a nice experience. There is a service at the beach - sun beds, at additional cost, and food delivery from the beach bar up at the hotel. The beach is beautiful. The spa area is nice - group classes, gym, massages. Really recommended to try.

The management should strongly consider to install a toilet down at the beach. It’s not normal that you pay expensive sun beds and each time you have to take all the stairs up and then down to go to the toilet at the hotel. Pine Cliffs has it plus a beach bar. Some more events have to be organised during summer, as otherwise it becomes boring after a few days. As also outside the resort there isn’t much interesting to see. Last year we stayed at the Pine Cliffs and it worths more. In terms of global experience it offers more value for the money you will pay. Honestly, the breakfast wasn’t great - variety and quality. Again Pine Cliffs 10/0.

We stayed for a week and the hotel exceeded my expectations on almost every count. The room, pools, staff, concierge, and facilities were all superb. Although the hotel was running at high capacity, there were always plenty of sunbeds and beach beds available, so it never felt crowded. The whole experience felt private, boutique, exclusive and a refreshing change from the typical all inclusive resorts where you often find long queues for meals and a scramble for sunbeds. The hotel’s lush, verdant grounds with pine trees, beautifully maintained plants, cabanas, and gazebos made the setting truly special. The path down to the beach is lovely, with beautiful red cliffs framing the walk and the sea opening up ahead. The beach itself is stunning and very clean, perfect for relaxing or a long walk. There is also a private area on the beach with sunbeds reserved exclusively for hotel guests. The turndown service each evening was a lovely touch, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble for the staff. Overall, a wonderful stay that I would happily recommend.

The only things that could have been better were the food options for vegans and vegetarians. At breakfast and in the buffet, there were very few protein choices, so we ended up with mostly carb-heavy plates. There were no dessert options for vegans at all, which was disappointing. That said, the staff were always willing to help. For example, when we asked, they were happy to arrange a vegetarian pasta sauce from the kitchen since there wasn’t one available in the buffet. Also, the charges for the beach beds and paddle boards were quite high. It made us think twice about how often to use them, which was a shame given how fantastic the beach and facilities.

We had a home suite for a couple and young children. The space was excellent with a kitchenette, it was easy to cook for the children when needed. The half board options were really great for everyone. I had an accident and the hotel staff was extremely helpful, I couldn’t praise them highly enough! Thank you so much for making that a stress free experience.

Not much. The playground could have something for younger children between the age of 1-3. The climbing frames were too big. If the kid’s club offered its services to toddlers above 12 months, this would’ve been even better.

Great service overall. Very well kept hotel, both indoors and outdoors. Spacious outdoor pools and great access to the beach. Valet service is included and is very helpful. Good food throughout and multiple restaurants. Comfortable rooms. It was a very pleasant stay for a week holiday.

Just two comments: 1) The comfort and the furniture in the room's balconies are not what you would expect for a 5 start hotel. This is probably why they dont seem to be used much, but the hotel has other nice outdoor areas that compensate for that. 2) The food is overall expensive, but that only became a problem for us in the pool bar where it needs better quality and variety for the price.

Lovely room, delicious breakfast, friendly staff, good sunbeds and pools, loved the walkway down to the beach and the general setting of the hotel with trees and plants was beautiful.

A bit too much fuss, like the staff were over attentive sometimes so as soon as you finished your plate they took it away, and they were trying to clean our room every time we went out. Also the prices at the bar were very expensive and they insisted on bringing drinks over rather than letting us collect them ourselves, and then they charged an extra 10% service charge, so a slushy for example cost €8, that's a lot already, but they charged €8.80

Hotel is quite and rooms are comfortable- Good breakfast till 11am with no rush- 3 swimming pools- well equipped gym- pathway through cliffs to get the beach- valley service for car pick up from the garage very quick. Good location at stone's throw distance from a pizzeria a supermarket and 3 or 4 other restaurants. But you need a car or a rid to get elsewhere . The view from the balcony on treetops and the sea .

The on charge beach sunbeds 70€/day (front line) and 50€ second & third line. Multiple fine dining restaurants at hotel but very pricey. My bad rate for cleaning is due to housekeeping, overall it is clean but some details missing like dried drops left on the mini bar , glasses, cups or spoons not checked to be clean before storing..

Beautifully decorated and immaculate upkeeps. The service was the best I've encountered in all of my traveling years from the front desk to the waiters to the room maintenance to the fitness center. The beach behind the resort was so clean and it will even be better once the cabanas are built. The breakfast and dinner buffet was excellent. The Japanese restaurant is the best but even the Italian restaurant and the poolside restaurant service and food were amazing. I loved everything about this hotel!

Not much to say. Maybe they should just make it adults only resort?

The EPIC Sana was a lovely stay. It exceeded our expectations. The rooms were large with lovely features. We enjoyed the privacy from our balcony in enjoying the beauty of the outdoors. We enjoyed the pools and that they were open 24/7 as we could listen to the live music while also relaxing by the water. The beach access was very convenient and well lit. Another highlight of the stay was the all inclusive breakfast which had a very impressive spread with very fresh and healthy options. It was one of the more peaceful stays that we’ve had!
