The staff at the hotel couldn't have been more helpful.,especially the girls in the restaurant.the breakfast was excellent and we had dinner two nights and it was excellent as well. The bar staff were excellent as well, thank you Stewart for your excellent service. Theroom was tidied every day to a high standard as well, thank you to the cleaning staff.I would recomend this hotel to anybody and hope to be back soon.

Nothing to dislike.

I had a really pleasant stay at the Buchan Hotel. The room was clean and the location is great but what stood out most was the service. One of the staff members (I didn't catch her name) was especially friendly and helpful throughout my visit. It’s rare to see that level of consistent service—she really made a difference. I hope management sees the value she brings and considers recognizing her work. Thanks again for a great experience!

The hair dryer wasn't working. Didn't really need it so it didn't matter.

Hotel was clean and nicely decorated. Cooked breakfast was very good, including the haggis. Friendly staff. Conveniently located for visiting family and chilling at the beach. We didnt get to visit the Chocolate shop but definitely will next time!

The room (120) was lovely but Im certain I booked an extra large bed, as specified at £99 per night but our room had a basic sized double bed and having driven 8 hours, we were too tired to question it... Also there was a cooling generator outside the window so we had to keep the window closed. - not great in August. Sundays breakfast was a bit dried out and they could only offer white toast....

Very central location. Quiet room. Friendly staff.

Toilet flush was hard work. Lack of hot chocolate on tea tray. Pointless cushions on the bed - design feature only as buckle on cushion too lumpy to allow use as an actual cushion. Therefore had to just be discarded in a corner.

We were in Scotland attending a funeral and the wake was held at the hotel and the high tea was lovely and the staff were really accommodating.

Both myself and my sister in law are arthritic and really struggled to flush the toilets in the rooms because the push buttons are really really stiff.

Breakfast excellent. Shower very good. Dinner menu bit basic. Staff very helpful. Parking ideal.

But traffic noisy but it is at a busy junction and Windows open for air. No lift at my advanced age is a problem perhaps good exercise though.

Friendly and helpful staff made us feel very welcome. Excellent meal in their restaurant too. Free resident parking was literally straight across the road…couldn’t have been more convenient . Would stay here again 👍🏼🙂

Nothing…happy in all senses

Staff professional and polite. Rooms clean and tidy, food a bit on the pricey side. But, all in all a good and enjoyable stay

WIFI could be stronger (signal not good in room)

Good decent size rooms and bathrooms. The hotel is not the most modern ( which is of no concern to me ) but spotlessly clean. We dined there and dinner was well cooked and good value. The breakfast was excellent. Staff were helpful and polite.

I would say this is an upper end 3star hotel. There ate a lot of facilities such as spa , swimming pool and sauna. Plenty of space and entertainment over the whole weekend not just the tribute night. can’t fault the staff as nothing was too much bother.

not too much really, some of the food was not as good as we would have liked but at the price it was reasonable.
