The hotel was in the perfect location for what I needed, making it an ideal choice for an overnight stay. It was conveniently situated, with easy access to the main roads and local attractions, which made my quick trip much more efficient. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, offering a warm reception upon my arrival. They were also very accommodating, going out of their way to ensure my stay was comfortable and that all my needs were met. Their helpfulness added a personal touch that made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a great place for a short stay, and I would definitely return if I’m in the area again.

On opening the door the room had a very pleasant smell, it was welcoming, the room was presented lovely, the lounge was very clean & very comfortable, good back support. It was spotlessly clean, 10 out of 10 clean. The carpets were clean, good parking, the grounds were well kept. The Motel is a credit to the owner's & it's so nice after travelling all day to get in to a bed with crisp white sheets, I would not hesitate to recommend this Motel & I would definitely go back. Thankyou for a restful night.

We stayed in 5 Motel's on this trip & it had the second highest in price & for Winter I thought it was a tad to high. I could not get the electric blanket to work however the owner's wont know that unless they are told & that is something staff wouldn't know unless they had time in the room to put the blanket on.

Excellent location with a good size room and very clean. We were also surprised to see a bath in the ensuite which was delightful. Car parking was outside our ground floor room which was a bonus as we are elderly travellers.

The room was above our expectation, however the only slight disturbance was construction noise outside our bedroom window from 08:00 am. We were advised on check in this would occur and we were getting ready to leave as we were only in for an overnight stay.

We stayed for one night as a stopover between Melbounre to Sydney. The location is on the main road which is great for restaurants. The mattress is very comfortable and there is free on-site parking. The motel is an older structure but has been renovated, so the furnishings and bathroom are modern.

The rooms were not soundproof, so being based on the main road, you could hear road noise. However, the surrounds are fairly quiet at night, so even though I am a light sleeper and heard some loud engine noises throughout the night, I still managed an OK sleep.

Room was very clean and comfortable, and had everything needed for a travelling family; small kitchen for some meal prep, cuppa tea / breakfast. Walking distance to everything. We only stayed one night of an 8 day road. This place is superior to others we stayed in. Staff were obliging for a ground floor room when i called earlier in the day. Despite older style building, there was nothing older style about the accomodation or hospitality of the staff.

Perfect motel in a great location near shops & restaurants, and the Botanical Gardens across the road. We stayed in many motels on our road trip to FNQ and return - this motel is as good as it gets. Owner was lovely. Our room was spacious, plenty of storage space, nice decor - cosy, clean & comfy. Had microwave & kitchen sink. Great bathroom, plenty of storage, corner shower AND bathtub. Bed comfy, good shower, excellent hairdryer. It got down to -1 degrees overnight and we were toasty warm!

Been there are long time but is a very well maintained Motel, very clean, lovely people at reception and awesome location, enjoyed the stay and will be staying again in the future.

There's nothing really to dislike only that there was a bit of noise at one particular time through passing people but that was only because we were on the front of the motel with balcony, stayed before same room and was quiet, still overall very happy stay.

Lovely greeting from lady at reception. Great location. Really pleasant stay. Big room. Asked for a downstairs quiet room and it was. Serviced daily - replenished soap and biscuits :) Comfortable bed. Good black out curtains. Very little road noise at night. Foxtel. Plenty of lights & power points. Recommend Mr Benedict’s for breakfast & Thai Puka for dinner (2 mins walk).

As per previous guest review comments, the motel was exactly what was mentioned.

We found it interesting that Google maps sent us to the back street of the motel. We then just put the address in & arrived at the motel. It also might be advisable to get a mirrored driveway device, as when we were driving out we nearly hit a bike riding past on the path. Just letting you know.

We were greeted cordially, though being told we were idiots for walking from the train station to the hotel in the pouring rain was not appreciated. The room was spacious, clean, warm and the beds very comfortable. We didn't use the TV or the WiFi so cannot comment on those. The kitchenette and kitchenware was appreciated. In the bathroom the shower was hot and the water pressure good. The hotel is very close to restaurants, bars, the movies, shopping, the gardens and the memorial tower.

There was a minimum of toiletries and no shower caps. An extra towel each would also have been appreciated.
