This was one of our smoothest family hotel stays. We usually look for a place with convenient parking, free breakfast, a pool, and a TV with streaming access when we have kids along and this place exceeded our expectations in 3 of the 4. Two hot tubs and a pool, all clean and orderly, and an amazing outdoor patio with a killer view. The dinner (I know that's not what it's called) and the breakfast were all far better than I expected. Parking was a little pricy, but worth it for the location, the convenience, and they let us stay in the garage after checkout. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Now that we know, we'll probably book Drury Inn over other comparable options when possible.

I really wish that more hotels would get on board with smart TVs and allow customers to log in to their streaming services. With kids, it really helps being able to put on a show while parents are getting ready for the day, packing up, etc., and with young kids, it feels fun and special to watch a family movie in bed together before going to sleep. There are only a few hotel chains that reliably do this and apparently Drury is not there yet, but I really hope it happens soon especially with all the other ways they accommodate families.

Breakfast was exceptional. Great variety. Location was great, RIGHT next to Gateway Arch, but it IS right downtown, so I wouldn't want to walk alone there at night. I liked the gym with lots of variety, but it was pretty warm.

The room was old and not as nice as other 3-star hotels I've stayed in before, though it was clean, and the temperature was well regulated. Parking stalls in parking garage are TIGHT and there are large cement pillars beside every stall. So if you drive anything other than a very compact car, it's uncomfortable to park in the garage. There is no street parking.

Staff was fantastic every time we came down for breakfast staff told us good morning and if we needed anything the staff was always there to help and super friendly. location right next to the arch was amazing and close to lots of great places to eat.

When we first got into the room there was toilet paper in the toilet, and the trash cans did not have any trash bags in them. Also, our room was right next to the elevators, and we could hear kids screaming and running down the halls late at night, and we could also hear other guests being fairly loud right next to our door as well making it hard to sleep at night.

Loved the free breakfast, kickback meal in evenings. The security at door during night. The options they had for breakfast, would like a different meat than sausage. They upgraded us to a suite no charge. It was very nice of them. I liked how you had to have a key card to call the elevator so not just anyone could come in and go up. Facility was clean. Everyone was nice. You got 3 free drinks a night at bar, but we don't drink. I did get a mock tail. That's a good feature for those that enjoy an evening drink. Walking distance to enjoy the arch and riverboat.

Needed different meat options for breakfast. So crowded and full. The rooftop you couldn't relax for kids running in and out from pool area. Be nice if rooftop was accesible at anytime and not just during pool hours so you could go out early morning and read and have quiet time. Pool was super loud. Would be good if it were on another level. We came cause it said it was not a busy season, but with the hurricanes and I think fall break in schools had the attendance up. The hotel felt safe but if you ventured a few blocks away from tourist area it got a little sketchy.

I came for the 12 Bars of Charity, so needless to say, I missed out on the free dinner and 3 free drinks. But the breakfast the next morning more than made up for it—it was packed with every breakfast food you could imagine, and everything tasted SO good, especially while hungover lol. The room I stayed in was super spacious with a really comfortable bed. Everything was clean, and the staff was awesome. Everyone I interacted with—front desk receptionists, the breakfast crew, and the cleaning staff—was so nice and helpful with any questions I had. I’ll definitely be staying here again if I’m ever back in St. Louis for another event!

The only thing I’d mention is that it was a little tricky finding the entrance to the parking lot, especially with a "no right turn" sign where I was supposed to turn. To be fair, it might’ve been tougher for me since I’m not super familiar with St. Louis roads.

Great stay! Right next to the Arch and the Courthouse. I love the fact you need your keycard to get into the hotel (security guard at the door), to use the elevator, and to get into the garage. We stayed a Friday night during Spring Break and the hotel was busy! But, the staff was amazing and very helpful. The Kick Back was great. Plenty of food and seating for everyone. Breakfast the next morning was just as good. I was concerned the hotel would be noisy at night, due to the number of families staying, but it wasn't. It was extremely quiet!

I wanted my grandkids to experience the Gateway Arch like I did when I was a child. The hotel was 5 minutes away from the Arch. We were able to go there multiple times throughout our visit because it was so close. Breakfast and dinner were served so it saved a lot of money on food. The room was very nice and spacious. Beds were comfortable. The staff was very friendly. You can go to the observation deck to see a partial view of the arch at night as well as sit and relax. Beautiful view!

I didn’t like having to pay an extra $26 per day for parking to the hotel, but having to park down the street in a parking garage rather than at the hotel. I didn’t like how a family took over the pool playing water football and the other family members were in the hot tub as if they were in their backyard. I felt like I was invading their backyard by being there. The pool is not monitored.

Very clean. The staff was eager to help and assist in any way they could. Breakfast was great. The evening kickback was a pleasant surprise (3 complimentary drinks between 5:30 - 7 pm). It was nice that there was dinner offered every night, however, we did not eat there for dinner. Great location. The Gateway Arch National Park was right behind us and Busch Stadium/Ball Park Village was 2 blocks away.

Overall great experience. Not much to complain about. Our "window" to our bedroom looked out into the hotel, which was more our fault since we selected it.

Great location to explore the downtown and take in a game. It’s a beautiful renovated old building and the lobby area is well equipped. We parked in the nearby garage and never needed the car. The staff is wonderful and did a great job of meeting everyone’s needs during the very busy breakfast mornings and the happy hour snacks in the evening. With those meals included, we didn’t have the appetite to explore other restaurants much, but was good for the wallet. Particular shout out to bartenders Robin and Kim for handling the crush of people during the happy hour with a constant smile and excellent service. Despite having an interior room (see comments in the negatives section), it was quiet and comfortable. Just be aware that is a possibility.

We ended up with one of the interior rooms that overlooks the hallway where the elevators are located, so we kept the blinds closed for our entire stay. I wish that Booking.com made this more clear in the listing of room types, as the hotel was sold out and a room change or upgrade wasn’t possible. (Although thank you to DJ at the front desk for trying and otherwise being very accommodating)

I booked a room with a view of the Arch which was absolutely beautiful!

The only critique I’d give is for the layout of the room, 940. One major section of the curtains weren’t retractable, blocking the view of the Arch. Similarly, the position of the bed blocked the view of the Arch due to a column in the wall. If the bed was moved to where the chair and ottoman were and vice versa, there would have been an unobstructed view of the Arch and would have made for a more enjoyable stay inside of the hotel room.
