I was traveling alone with my boys and I felt very safe and secure. I loved that everything needed a key to access, including the parking garage. The staff were very helpful. We loved the indoor pool and that everything we needed was mostly in walking distance. It was very clean as well. Whenever I come to St. Louis again, I will book here.

They ran out of some of the breakfast items fairly quickly. The first day we were there the sausage was gone and there was no pancake batter. Also, there should be someone outside making sure that those who are checking in do not leave their vehicle to go to their room. This car blocked us in for quite some time.

A beautiful hotel, arranged in a classic style, a little outdated. Its location close to the metro was very good, the beds were comfortable, the linen was clean, we were glad that we had a fridge, iron, hairdryer, we used them. We were able to walk to visit the Arch, it is an ok area, we felt safe. There is also a shop nearby, from there we got an adapter for the socket. The staff was polite. We liked that we could use the juice dispenser in the breakfast area to get drinking water.

Although the room was clean, I found black hairs in the bathtub drain. When I took a shower, the water stopped flowing and it was not pleasant to clean the drain myself. breakfast was something unpleasant for us, who are not used to plastic plates, cutlery and cups. We had to choose between boiled eggs, omelette, some burger meat, waffles, bagels, apples, oranges, bananas, milk with cereals and so on. There is also a juice dispenser, water, ice, coffee, milk. It would be great to have vegetables, plain yogurt, cheese, cottage cheese. The room does not have a window to the outside, with a door that leads to an interior staircase and the breakfast area.

The location was fantastic, it was close to a lot of attractions and things to see& do. The lobby area was nicely decorated& had space for people to relax There was a nice dining area with plenty of seating for breakfast.

The check in was a bit chaotic with how the traffic flow is. Breakfast could use improvements. There was no non-stick spray to use for the waffle makers. As a result multiple patrons were having issues with the waffles sticking. One lady’s waffle was unrecognizable and took 5 minutes just to pry out. The gravy for the biscuits was watery and lacked flavor.

Stayed here for a concert and it is the prime hotel to be! Location is great! Easy access to and from the highway. On site parking for a fee but totally worth it! Happy hour from 5:30p to 7p. Soda machine on 5th with all day pop corn. The staff were excellent! They really know how to manage the guests after a concert. All the staff (from Security to front desk staff) were helping get the guest where they needed to go. They definitely managed the elevators like a pro. Will definitely stay here again and continue to recommend to other people. Thank you for being a part of our memorable trip!

Hotel has limited amount of elevators but the staff totally manages them well on high guest traffic times. The parking is a tight squeeze.

We usually stay in Drury Inn’s, but have never stayed in a Pear Tree Inn. This place was a great value for what we got in return. We thought the room was clean. The shower was fantastic. The bed, pillows, and sheets were comfortable. The amenities in the room and at the property were great. They had a wonderful breakfast with plenty of food and drink choices. All the food was fresh and hot. They allowed us to leave our vehicle in the parking garage while we walked and took a view of the city. It is a great location in downtown St Louis.

I wish you did not have to pay a separate fee for parking, but understand it is a downtown hotel.

Parking - small bay out front whilst you check in and get the parking instructions. Easy to park with lots of available space. Receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. Unexpected happy hour with 3 free drinks and nibbles. Breakfast was usual small hot/cold buffet and adequate. Room was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed, although the air conditioning was very noisy and had to turn it off for sleeping. Reasonable downtown location - about 15 min stroll to Gateway Arch.

Only minor niggles are the air con noise and parking fee quite expensive but not unexpected for city centre locations.

The set-up of the hotel is like an indoor motor park, but in a good way. All the rooms were centered around an indoor courtyard which contained the pool, eating area and exercise room. The atmosphere was fun and lively with a little league baseball team staying. The parking was free and felt safe. I was even allowed to remain parked in the parking garage after check-out while I attended a baseball game. We walked to the game and the Arch.

There was really nothing that I did not like about the hotel. I will certainly look to stay here again in the future.

Right next to the dome of America. Happy hour is awesome. The room was clean and had a fridge and microwave. Unlimited soda and coffee on floor 5. The staff was friendly and helpful. Express checkout.

No USB ports in room (January)The pool was uncomfortably cold for being indoors so everyone was trying to get in the smaller hot tub to warm up. Due to being right next to the dome traffic was crazy. It took an hour to go one block to get to the parking garage. I would highly recommend it if there is an event at the dome to show up to your hotel hours before the event. Of course this has nothing to do with the hotel and more about how crazy the traffic gets in that area during an event.

It was a nice place to stay. We were in town for a concert and the walk to Bush Stadium was a good walk. The walk back after from the concert was good as well. It was nicely lite and the walk was quick. The room was clean and bed was clean and nicely made. Breakfast was good. Check in was quick and easy. Parking garage is nice also. It was a very nice location in Downtown St. Louis.

The cost of the parking garage is expensive and you are not told about the fee until you get to check in. The shuttle to the stadium was expensive 10.00 per person.

The breakfast was ok. It could have been better. Fresh ingredients and homemade gravy/biscuits would set you apart from others. You can definitely tell everything was pre-made or processed. Location was good being close to downtown.

There were to many kids in the pool. A bigger pool would be nice and there was too much chlorine in it. There needs to be fans in the room and the hvac system could use maintenance. It sounded like it was struggling a little. The vent was dusty and needed cleaned. More kid channels on TV.
