I have 2 autistic adult children and the staff was truly amazing with them. 1 of my sons ran up and hugged a manager (I believe) and she hugged him back and always asked him how his day was. Another manager, Emily, took care of anything we needed and then some. They went above and beyond all expectations. We had 2 rooms I brought kids and grandkids for a big family vacation and every single staff member treated us like family. My 22-year-old (autistic) is a bit of a hugger and every single staff member that he hugged, hugged him right back and it literally made our trip 1,000 times better. Anytime we stay in St. Louis, it will be at that hotel.

Free breakfast, 5:30 “Kickback” with 3 free drinks and an extensive buffet that can easily suffice for dinner. In addition the staff was superb at customer service. Particular kudos to Emily for her assistance on multiple occasions!
Unfortunately I have to eat gluten free. Sadly 2 of the 3 nites we were there the buffet was taco themed and the only item I could have on the buffet was a hot dog (without a roll). The staff was helpful in pointing out the QR code which identified what I could and couldn’t have and one nite Emily even offered to get the chef to cook up corn that wasn’t seasoned with taco seasoning. My suggestion would be on taco nite to offer at least one item that was gf besides hotdogs and to label the items on the buffet instead of having to look up each time via the QR code. The only other thing I didn’t love was the interior room but that was my own choice when I booked. Wouldn’t choose that again. The “window “looked out on the elevator hallway so we really had to keep the curtains closed

The hotel was very clean, staff were so helpful and friendly always seen a smiling face and was greeted wherever we were which was super nice in today's world. My family loved the convenience of the location we were able to walk to a few of our planned activities like, The Arch, Imo's Pizza, St. Louis Baseball Stadium and literally less than a 10 min drive everywhere else like The City Museum, Union Station and the Zoo! I absolutely loved that Drury had the free breakfast and kickbacks which was basically dinner for us every night plus 3 free alcoholic drinks per night such a bonus on this trip! The balcony that overlooks the Arch was amazing by the pool area. Our air conditioner went out in our room and the manager checked it out for us immediately upon his attention and got us switched rooms super quickly I was impressed I don't know why I expected it to be much more of a hassle in my head than actually getting an issue resolved so quickly. They were super accommodating to us for the couple nights stay and I couldn't be more happier with my choice of staying here. Now I don't want to use any other hotel other than Drury I kind of got spoiled.
The kickbacks got a little over crowded and some guest were rude. Not enough seating in the dining area, non guest could come eat during the time the guest could which made it hard to find seating. The air conditioner not working the first night but got situated in another the next day.

It was nice not to have to spend extra money on breakfast or dinner. The parking garage was a bit on the tight side. We did some walking to our destinations, and we did use Uber a couple of times to save us the hassle. The free drinks were a bonus! The staff were super friendly and helpful! The pool and spa were great also! All in all, we were completely satisfied with our stay! We will look for more Drury Plaza on future trips! Also, it was nice to have the parking garage and the pool separate from the lobby! It helps free up congestion in the lobby.
The parking garage was a bit on the tight side. The 3rd elevator wasn't working, which could've helped with some congestion.

Considering the price my friend and I paid for our two night stay, Drury Plaza exceeded our expectations in many ways. For starters, the attention to classy architectural design (i.e. chandeliers, marble, pillars, etc.) made every moment in this atmosphere feel luxurious. Secondly, I appreciated the integrity of upholding the history of the building by displaying plaques w/information regarding its original use and important key role played in St. Louis at the time. Additionally, the grand display of artistic sculptures of prominent historical figures (Sacajawea, Lewis & Clark, etc.) in the wishing well was always a delight to pass by in the lobby. Many times I just took a moment to gaze at its beauty. Beyond the sights of this elegant hotel, the food was also something we could rave about. I don't think I've ever come across any hotel that serves a hot dinner in addition of the almost standard hot breakfast in the hospitality industry. This exceeded my expectations once again, especially considering the abundance, freshness, and flavor of food made available. Each time we had breakfast and dinner, my friend and I thoroughly enjoyed. Last but not least, the comfortableness of the bed, cleanliness throughout, friendliness of staff, and extra accommodations of garage parking, pool amenities, and outdoor rooftop views made this stay exceedingly exceptional. If I am ever back in St. Louis, I do plan on booking another reservation with Drury Plaza St. Louis at the Arch!
My only request would have been to have had a bathroom exhaust fan in our room to help with the moisture during showers. Other than this, I have no complaints! :)

I loved everything about the property. Very high class establishment. My child was thrilled about the popcorn before dinner. I also thought that the complimentary bar and fountain pop machine was great. Not a lot of hotels have a complimentary dinner so that was a great touch. The room was nice. The staff was awesome, very friendly and helpful. The water feature in the lobby was a great touch. The staff was knowledgeable on the area for tourist. The observation area by the pool was great for pictures.
Didn’t like anything. The parking garage could be better but don’t think that is even under their control.

This place was beautiful on the inside and exceptionally clean. The staff were all very cheerful and helpful. The breakfast was good for a hotel with plenty of options to choose from, and the coffee was bottomless, hot, and good.
My only complaints are that the bed was too soft for my liking and I thought the price was a little steep. I know you expect to pay more to be downtown, so I chalked it up to paying extra for the room to avoid paying for an Uber. As for the bed, it should explain how nice this place was that that is the only true complaint.

This was one of our smoothest family hotel stays. We usually look for a place with convenient parking, free breakfast, a pool, and a TV with streaming access when we have kids along and this place exceeded our expectations in 3 of the 4. Two hot tubs and a pool, all clean and orderly, and an amazing outdoor patio with a killer view. The dinner (I know that's not what it's called) and the breakfast were all far better than I expected. Parking was a little pricy, but worth it for the location, the convenience, and they let us stay in the garage after checkout. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Now that we know, we'll probably book Drury Inn over other comparable options when possible.
I really wish that more hotels would get on board with smart TVs and allow customers to log in to their streaming services. With kids, it really helps being able to put on a show while parents are getting ready for the day, packing up, etc., and with young kids, it feels fun and special to watch a family movie in bed together before going to sleep. There are only a few hotel chains that reliably do this and apparently Drury is not there yet, but I really hope it happens soon especially with all the other ways they accommodate families.

Staff was fantastic every time we came down for breakfast staff told us good morning and if we needed anything the staff was always there to help and super friendly. location right next to the arch was amazing and close to lots of great places to eat.
When we first got into the room there was toilet paper in the toilet, and the trash cans did not have any trash bags in them. Also, our room was right next to the elevators, and we could hear kids screaming and running down the halls late at night, and we could also hear other guests being fairly loud right next to our door as well making it hard to sleep at night.

Breakfast was exceptional. Great variety. Location was great, RIGHT next to Gateway Arch, but it IS right downtown, so I wouldn't want to walk alone there at night. I liked the gym with lots of variety, but it was pretty warm.
The room was old and not as nice as other 3-star hotels I've stayed in before, though it was clean, and the temperature was well regulated. Parking stalls in parking garage are TIGHT and there are large cement pillars beside every stall. So if you drive anything other than a very compact car, it's uncomfortable to park in the garage. There is no street parking.
