the staff is amazing! they help me with recommendation where to eat local food, what to see and what is the best way to get to get places I was looking for. They are very open and made me smile. I was afraid it will be cold in the night as I visited during Portuguese winter, but there was heater in room and extra blankets! You have to be prepared that's 300 year building!

Beds are comfy but little squeaky.

I was very warmly welcomed by Celia who made sure to orient me on the local map n point out all the places of interest in the area. The other staff like Lisa were charming and helpful with other local tips and suggestions. The dorm room was warm with a heater n two blankets. This hostel also had the best common room / kitchen area. Showers were hot.

I liked very much the place and the treatment from the owner at my arrival.

I was assigned to share a room with immigrants, not with tourism travelers as I am which make the stay s little complicated. But the really negative part was the owner's lack of control on the reception of the keys at the check-out hour. they have no certainty of who keeps a key or who gives it back, this was uncomfortable for me and obeys only to lack of management.

great staff, esp. the senhora of the hostel who recommended a nice taberna just around the corner: Porta Larga, with a great value prato de dia for lunch or dinner

the showers could use some improvement + towels..

The people running the hostel were very nice! The house has a magical old vibe and it is well maintained. The position is amazing, a few minutes on foot from the center. The kitchen is well-equiped and there are a few places to sit and eat.

The mattresses were very thin, but still manageable. Not the fault of the hostel, but something I did not expect was the noise level of bells during the day, so be aware of it if you like to sleep in.

The staff were really friendly and welcoming. The place was clean all the time.

I visit during winter, in December. The place was cold but is because the building is from 18th century. Anyway the staff give me extra bed sheets and heater to keep the room warm. So at the end was ok

Historical architecture with a rich heritage of the city. Warm and helpful info to keep the house clean. Very spacious for a whole family with a lovely balcony. There are sufficient things needed for travel.

This hostel is located in a beautiful 17th century building. The room was so charming, clean, and cozy. Celia was beyond helpful with directions and recommendations, even pointing us to delicious, inexpensive, and filling lunch just down the way. We woild totally stay here again.

Great location close to the Supetmarket, Bus station and train station. Very clean, enough showers and toilets, nice people. Celia and Sofia are very kind and hospitable. The house is interesting because it is historical.

O Hostel Prime é central, sossegado, limpo e confortável. O staff é simpático. A repetir.
