Very large and comfortable double room, with large windows with sheer curtains for daytime light and heavy drapes for sleep time. Very quiet, extremely clean, serviced daily. Very good complimentary continental breakfast served on the scenic top floor of the hotel with outstanding 270 degree views of the city and surrounding hillsides. Breakfast included scrambled eggs, sliced meats, cheeses, croissants, fruits, cereals, toast, bread rolls, sliced cakes, fruit juices, coffee, tea, etc. Very large well-priced supermarket only 100 metres away. Historic "old town", the centre of the city is within walking distance or only a EUR3.50 Uber fare. Great facility.

Whilst the bathroom was everything you would like, it was missing a box of facial tissues (but I purchased a box at the nearby supermarket). The hotel does not have a restaurant, but there are good small restaurants within 50 metres.

We liked the location of this hotel. We chose Guimaraes instead of Porto as we thought it would be nice to visit both cities over 2 days. This hotel is across the street from the train station; one of the reasons we booked it. This allowed us to take the train into Porto rather than staying in Porto. An additional bonus is that Guimaraes historic district is within walking distance from the hotel. Day 1 we explored Guimaraes. Day 2 was off to Porto. The train was about 1 hour to Porto and took us to Sao Bento station, right in the heart of Porto. Initially, as we drove up to the hotel we were not sure we had made the right choice. However, check-in was easy and we were given a suite on the 10th floor with a view of the historic district. Breakfast was included and it was really good; big selection of items at the buffet. Indoor parking was provided at no charge; it's covered indoor parking. Would definitely stay here again.

As we drove up to the hotel for the first time it was difficult to sort out where to park and unload our suitcase. It took three passes by the hotel until we finally figured there was an outdoor parking behind the hotel where we could temporarily leave the car and unload. It would have been beneficial to have the parking area for unloading better marked. As well, if the hotel had indicated that there was parking behind the building for unloading it would have prevented the stress of going around the roundabout three times before we figured out where to park the car to unload.

My wife and I were staying for our wedding anniversary and new years, we booked a suite as the photos showed an amazing room with great view and bathtub. The Suit we were given was not the one in the photos, this could have really impacted our celebrations but the team managed to switch us to the room photographed after we spoke to them. The hotel was quite full so we were very thankful to the team for managing to switch our room

The carpark layout is a bit chaotic with several spots having structural columns in sides or even in front in the middle. We had a mid-size hatch (Nissan Qashqai) and most of the parking spots were so tight we were unable to use some. There is apparently an overflow carpark next door which would solve the issue so not considered a big problem by us. We maganged to park ok every day but this was our only real concern

Considering the price of the hotel, it exeeds our expectation, the room is big and this is the tallest hotel (12 floor) for our Portgual. Location is okay, it's still in walkable distance (around 10mins）to the city centre. Car park is available, this is important for traveller with many luggages Breakfast is in the top floor, you can have a good view for the city

The only complain is about the Air-con, the winds varies between strong and weak and a bit noisy, but it's still within acceptable range.

That is a nice, super convenient hotel right near the train station (yet very quiet). My room had a wonderful, picturesque view of the city. The area is safe. The staff is helpful, polite. Downstairs there is a useful machine that delivers snacks and beverages and there are two big supermarkets at walking distance in case you need sth. There are a couple of restaurants nearby, too.

Was a very nice hotel, staff were both friendly and helpful on reception and the bar. Snack bar food was good. If travelling by car, they have a secure carpark under the hotel. Train there is a train station few hundred metres down the street from the entrance, our room faced this direction and was no noise from the road or rail, we were also low down. The view from the bar and breakfast room (breakfast was good) looked over the town and from its vantage point quite stunning. An easy walk into town and you are on the outskirts of the old town within 5 to 10minute walk, dependant on pace. Would stay here again for sure if coming to the area.

Room temperature could have been a degree or so warmer, but I had just come from a hotter climate, so may just have been me.

Location , the very friendly and smiling staff. At the reception and at breakfast . Even the room service lady said hello and smiled at us! Congrats to them ;) large rooms ! Very clean Parking near hotel and also at the sister hotel next door the Guimarães hotel.

Only a very little thing .. it would be nice to have some veggies like tomatoes/ cucumbers at breakfast , but this is personal … BTW , the scrambled eggs were fluffy and perfect ! This is very seldom, even at much more expensive places

Hotel is excellent, great value for money, very pleasant and helpful staff, spacious and confortable rooms, good breakfast, and parking. We had a great stay!

It seems that eggs were made of powder, and had a strange smell, there was also no salad (tomatos or cucumbers). Pillows in our room were rather thin. Everything else was great.

The inside of this hotel looks newly renovated. Beautiful bar on the top floor with a great view. Good breakfast. Staff is helpful. Free underground parking. Easy walk into the historical centre.

There is no light switch for the bathroom. The motion sensor light stays on after you leave and eventually turns off. Of you go to the bathroom in the middle of the night the light will blind you and potentially wake your partner. The heat/cool system has no instructions. Had to call the desk. Would be helpful to have basic instructions posted on the control. We asked for a quiet room. Ok, it was away from the elevator but facing the street side ( some street noise. Thankfully it's a small town) and on the 1 st floor. Usually, hotels try to put you in a corner room, higher floor if facing the street or a non street facing room.

The location is very good!And the staff are very enthusiastic. And the scenery is very good

Parking is inconvenient. When we arrived at the hotel, there was no parking space on the roadside. The staff guided us to park underground, but it was too narrow to park. Later, I stopped in an empty parking lot, but I was very tired to pick up my suitcase and climb the hill.
