The rooms are very comfortable and clean. You can ask the staff for a card to wave the fee of the parking lot next door. They also give you a key for the main door. You can also enjoy their breakfast for 3 euros.

The property really is reminiscent of my time at catholic school. Very spartan, no phone, not even a reading light, only the recesssed lights in the ceiling. So if you are looking for cozy and romantic…this ain’t the spot. However, it was clean, very quiet and extremely close to downtown. There is a terrific antique store mere steps away, and lots of dining and coffee spots. My favorite pizza place (Pizza Luzzo) is just across the square. So I you don’t mind feeling like a nun is going to come in and make sure your skirt is the appropriate length (triggering, but funny) give it a try.

Good location, everywhere is accessible on foot. Room was big enough. The wifi worked well. I also got a small fridge in the room upon request. They allowed me to store my luggage on the day I left.

The movement of water in the pipes is quite audible. But at night everything was calm and I slept well.

I did not expect such a cleaning service! Really nice!

There could have been a microwave in the mini kitchen! I know thar there is a community kitchen downstairs, but it would be an upgrade

Extremely kind and helpful staff which allowed me also an earlier check-in since that was possible. No unnecessary luxury but everything was well maintained and practical (perfect to me). It is a clean place on the edge of the historic old town.

Decor is a bit old, like a good quality student accommodation. No big deal though when you consider the price.

The location is ideal. The street is quiet, staff extremely kind, and value incredible! The accommodations are BASIC, but it's one of the most restful hotels in Portugal. Do yourself a favor and check it out. Make sure you ask the staff about a local parish's philosophy behind running the hotel.

Location! Price! Comfy bed! Heating! Good WiFi! Hot shower! Amazing staff! Quiet! Walkable area! Clear self-check-in instructions! Allowed me to have a late checkout, with luggage storage pre check in, and after checkout ss well! Definitely, recommended!

We loved how we treated by the workers, especially, the recepsionist. She borrowed us to her own umbrella and she also was extra helpful for parking.
