The room was so clean, it smelled like heaven - not like a wet, old hotel room - like a clean, clean motel room. The bed was astounding. The night before I had slept in another motel (in SA) and it was like a plank. The bed at the Mercure was like heavenly cloud and I even went looking for the brand of the bed. So, if anyone knows what that is, could they please tell me because I need a new mattress at home. There is Foxtel, and a couch and a table, and you can take a bottle to the bar and get fresh water! - for a basic motel room it is set up beautifully. I will definitely be back.

The other people in the hall were a bit noisy but I doubt there's very much that can be done about that - I think they were drunk and coming back from some nightclub / pub. Guests being considerate to other guests is well out of the control of Mercure. It's situated perfectly in Wagga Wagga and I was able to go and visit my son without any concerns.

The room was clean and comfortable. We were allocated an upper story room but the surprising absence of a lift was off-putting given the weight of our luggage and ages. The request for a different room was easily accommodated. Parking was easy immediately in front of the accommodation. The restaurant staff were friendly and the meals were pleasant. There were local Riverina wine on offer which was welcome. The breakfast buffet was abundant and fresh.

This is a minor observation but we were surprised by the "acres" of blank walls in the restaurant. There are bound to be wonderful local artists whose work could be fostered.

Very easy to find and access - quiet and buffered by a sports ground from the main road through town- easy to get access to Main Street and other attractions. Our accomodation was at ground level and made it easy to bring our bags in and out and had separate beds which a lot of other places didn’t offer- but they made it a bit more expensive. The tv could access Fox once you got used to using the remote!

The room numbers were difficult to see in the dark and could be made easier to see.

We like the apartment facility such as the electric stove and the oven. We checked-in on the Christmas Eve where we expected that many shops or restaurants would close on that day. Therefore, by having the stove and the oven were our life-saver because we were able to cook something for our Christmas Eve's dinner. The pool was a plus. It was also nice to dip in the pool during 35 degrees weather in the afternoon.

The leather couch needs to be replaced. We can spot a few cracks on the leather. Other than that it's all good. The entry door at the back probably needs a security lock / pass, as it stays unlock all the time. It is good to have a security lock / pass as well to avoid trespassers or thieves from entering the apartment building.

They say country people are the friendliest, but gotta say these guys were the best during our trip. The location off the main street made it a bit quieter, which was great. With car crazy kids, the aquatic centre is a short walk away to get rid of the energy or Mark Taylor oval across the road. Rooms were generous in size, clean and comfortable, and foxtel calmed the beasts too.

No decaffeinated tea option, petty I know.

Arrived late and was advised that restaurant was still open, so we went there for a nice dinner. Room was clean and had a lounge and small table with two chairs. Tv was ok, bed was comfortable and bathroom was fine.

Had a jug and a fridge, but no toaster. We had a front room facing the road and slept with the window open, so it was bit noisy during the night. If you get a front room , probably better to use the aircon and leave the window closed.

Restaurant closed for dinner. Noisy guests in the room next door. Guests were smoking cigars in the pool area, even though it was clearly marked as a non smoking area. Our family was unable to stay in the pool as it was very unpleasant. I complained to reception and an apology was made, but no mention of asking the guests to stop or leave.

The staff were professional and kind. The on site restaurant was clean and servedwonderful food. There was plenty of parking, and the location of the hotel was only a 3 minute walk from the main strip, which was perfect and convenient

The first morning we ordered room service. We left in the room, naturally assuming that when the cleaners came through, it would be cleared. Unfortunately, it wasn't taken away until much later in the night.

Overall it was a decent stay at the hotel. Breakfast buffet was good.

The only negative point was that i was asked to pay for the breakfast buffet for my 2 year old when i booked everything including breakfast. However later on it got sorted and the reception said that booking.com did not send them the age of the child which was a bit weird as i clearly mentioned it while booking.

The reception staff were excellent on the night of our arrival. The young gentleman on duty at the check in counter was more than exceptional. We checked in on the 10th April. Our room had everything we needed. The bed was extremely comfortable, which made our stay even better thankyou.

nothing to complain about. Needed to stay longer!
