We arrived to the hotel early by about 2 hours but they let us check in as our room was ready. They even upgraded us to a room with a view of Placa de Catalunya! Rooms are very comfortable and modern. Loved the USB and USB-C outlets next to the bedside tables. Bathrooms were very clean and modern. Bed was very comfortable and hotel provided extra pillows on request. Service was very friendly and attentive. On our first day they sent up a bottle of champagne to our room which was a nice surprise! Staff here will do what they can to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Would definitely stay here again as it is a great hotel and the location is extremely central in Barcelona.

My wife and I recently spent three incredible nights at the OliviaPlaza Hotel, and I can’t recommend this place enough! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations, making our trip to Barcelona truly special. Location: Perfect! The hotel is ideally situated in the city center, just a minute’s walk from the airport bus stop (which couldn’t have been more convenient). Exploring was a breeze—the historic center is a lovely 15-minute stroll down the iconic Las Ramblas, putting all the major attractions within easy reach. Service: The staff were exceptional—always friendly, smiling, and eager to help with any request. Their warmth made us feel welcome and well taken care of throughout our stay. Breakfast: Absolutely worth it! The breakfast spread was delicious and plentiful, becoming a cherished part of our morning routine. Don’t miss out on this—it’s a fantastic way to start the day. Overall Experience: The OliviaPlaza Hotel was more than just a place to sleep; it was a peaceful retreat after days of exploring. The atmosphere, comfort, and attention to detail made our stay unforgettable. We’re already planning to return with our entire family—this hotel is now our top choice in Barcelona! The moment we arrived from our overnight flight, the staff took great care of us. We got a free breakfast and a room upgrade with views of the square. The location was amazing, with everything within easy walking distance. We even got a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine delivered to our room. We would definitely stay here again!

Most major attractions are within a 10-minute walk, with Sagrada Familia being the farthest at about 45 minutes on foot. The hotel itself is exceptional, with top-notch service from an outstanding staff. And the city? Simply incredible—a flawless blend of culture, beauty, and excitement for a truly memorable holiday.

Location was spectacular! Everything was within walking distance or a short bus/metro ride away. Very comfortable beds, quiet rooms, friendly staff, free upgrade and free water bottles. I was very happy with this hotel.

The staff was friendly and invested in creating a great customer experience. They provided valuable recommendations and information for navigating and exploring the city. The location and close proximity of the hotel to buses and the Metro as well as many walkable places was a big plus. Also, after a day of exploring the city we very much appreciated the complimentary snack and drink amenities offered in the lounge area. The cleaning staff did an excellent job taking care of the room during our visit.

Nothing you can do about this, but the lack of an outlet near the bed seems like an oversight. Needed an extension cord extending along the floor from the other side of the bedroom to be able to plug in an autoPAP/CPAP machine. A VERY minor item that was easy to overcome. The room experience was otherwise excellent.

Very good location if you’re new to Barcelona or only here a couple of days as it’s very central, near Plaça Catalunya and La Rambla. It felt very safe and staff was kind and accommodating

Only thing we noticed is the shower tends to leak onto the floor. Likely due to foundation changes over time. Dries quickly so not a big deal but could be a slip hazard
