The staff were exceptional and went out of their way to make our stay a delightful one. We were welvomed by Charles late evening when we arrived who went to great lengths to explain all the amenities. The breakfasts were delicious and Roy and the rest of the staff went to great lengths to cater for our dietary requirements. Roy obtained delicious halaal sausages and designed a different breakfast daily. The perssonalized service was par excellance. Charmaine,Gift and Allen who are also part of the team also provided outstanding service.

It is secluded and quiet! Seems safe outside - we left our car out in the street. It had all the amenities one would expect and need from a Guest House. It was very very clean! The staff in general were very courteous and helpful. They made you feel right at home. The bed was very firm and comfortable!

Although we were promised a parking garage, it was too small. We would have liked to see a bigger selection of teas. There are too many locks and keys to negotiate (the owners should invest in multiple locks that take the same key). The outside overhead light to our garden room was not working. We pointed this out to the night manager but it was not repaired. The main lobby of the property was used as a a type of conference venue and it was a little awkward interrupting the attendees to ✗ through them to exit the house.

The location was perfect. Lovely area. The house is beautiful. The staff very welcoming and efficient. Breakfast was promptly served and very nice. We requested a room with a separate room for our teenage son which was accommodated. Walking distance from bars and restaurants and a short drive to lots of places worth visiting. The owner, Inri, was very friendly, very informative and we enjoyed our chats with her. Netflix in the bedroom. Parking was provided. The upstairs lounge was gorgeous and a real pleasure in which to relax.

Not much. The room wasn't as nicely finished as the other rooms but as it was the only one that came with two rooms we were OK with that. Garage was a little tight for an SUV. Really though these did not affect the pleasure of our stay whatsoever.

Very comfortable stay,the staff were all very friendly and most helpful with any requests,they made my stay memorable they went out of their to make sure I was safe and comfortable...many thanks Food was excellent,service was also excellent.

The only negative was the strength and coverage of the wifi signal...it was at best intermittent. These days it needs to be unquestionably good.

It was our first stay to this beautiful Lodge and already planned our next stay with Inri the Owner. Inri definitely has amazing interior decorating skills and it is evident in every room you enter. The whole Lodge is beautifully decorated and ultra comfortable but besides this the staff were amazing and friendly and we're so helpful, warm and kind so much so that they have become our friends now. The breakfasts were very tasty and very filling and were impressed that they supply a water fountain and bottles to take to your rooms so never need to bring in your own water in. The rooms were so clean on entering it felt like no-one stayed there before us!

Hand on heart there was nothing we did not like about this Lodge perhaps the only thing we all didn't like was leaving it.

Brilliant service by the staff and owner Inri. Very friendly and interactive. Nothing is too much trouble. Rooms spacious and clean. Clean towels daily. Liked everything this guest house had to offer. Had everything one needs. A home away from home.

Bath in Leopard room needs a little tlc, ie re-enameling, but does not detract from this wonderful guest house.

The staff were absolutely wonderful, helpful and friendly. The locations is great. Rooms spacious and everything you need in the room. Breakfast so good and well done to the staff Fresh fruit and full English breakfast. Muffins were absolutely delicious and good coffee - worth a visit.

Bathroom door would not close - but nothing serious.

The breakfast was good lots of choices cold or hot staff were lovely you felt you were at home not a paid guess

Only one thing it was very hot when we were there so The room did feel very warm and when we opened the window mosquitoes invaded 😕 they staff did all the could to keep them a bay

The Riversong Guest House just feels like a home rather than an accommodation. From arrival to leaving everyone made sure I had everything I needed. The room is very spacious and the garden just beautiful. There was not one thing I did not like

We loved EVERYTHING about our stay here Inri, Aaron, Charmaine couldn't do enough for us and with the other guests. Our rooms were incredibly spacious and everything worked in our rooms which is a first!! A stunning location and we walked to the shops and restaurants. We are booked in again middle March and it's the ONKY place we would stay when we visit Cape Town.
