Host was very welcoming, engaging and has the perfect personality to want to pay another visit. Perfect location for Boscombe Pier and shops , bus service. Free on street parking in area, a bonus. Plenty of eateries, pubs, music venues. I would thoroughly recommend The Westby, you will not go hungry or thirsty, as you will be well looked after. A genuine warm gentleman, who is doing a great job! Many thanks , Duncan, look forward to staying with you again.

Unfortunately the Great British weather, plenty of showers, but to be expected. Still an enjoyable stay.

Breakfast: Very good. Cooked properly, good quantity. Room: Clean and good amount of space for motorbike gear. Bed: Comfy, nice thick mattress. Bathroom: Clean, no glaring issues. Power shower, which are always a treat. Instructions for shower operation were provided, which was welcome. Location was good, and was recommended a good venue for dinner.

Shower cubicle was tiny, shower somehow would only adjust hotter, not colder. Pillows were a little hard. Map didn't show the steep the hill down to the beach, although I should have done my research first. Limited parking. Low slanted ceiling on the stairs to the top floor.

Excellent service, host went out of his way to assist with an earlier check in. Room was comfortable and did everything we needed. Felt like you were staying with a friend/ family. Make sure you read the information given to you

Very hard to say as it was a great stay but for balance, Toilet seat has started to see better days and there wasn't anywhere to put your toiletry bag. Breakfast portion is a bit small

Arrival and welcome was excellent. Duncan could not have been more helpful in making suggestions and there is a fabulous selection of information including OS maps for the local area. As well as the tea and coffee making facilities, there were lots of other provisions, including toiletries and sanitary products. We hadn't booked breakfast but chose to pay the extra. Worth every penny; Great cooked breakfast, smoothie, lovely toast and the most wonderful marmalade. We only stayed two nights, but if we have any other appointments in the area, The westby would be the first place we would check for availability.

Duncan communicated well prior to my stay and was very welcoming when I arrived. He made sure I was made familiar with all facilities and available refreshments. I enjoyed a quiet, undisturbed stay and slept very well. We spoke briefly during my visit and at it's end. The place was an oasis of calm in a very busy 3 days!

I really can't find fault with The Westby

Duncan, the owner, is an absolutely wonderful person. He made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The place itself is cozy and has everything you could need, including a hairdryer, kettle with cups, and a generous supply of milk, coffee, and tea. I highly recommend the breakfast in the morning – it's cooked with love and really adds to the overall experience. Would definitely stay here again!

Everything was just perfect!

Great location and comfortable, well-equipped rooms with everything you could need. Breakfast was great and extremely reasonably priced. The host was welcoming, communicate, friendly and made us feel at home. Would definitely stay here again. We were able to get a car parking space - there are 3 spaces total but on street parking is also an option if the accommodation is busy.

Great location , There was so much to love about this place Duncan was a fantastic host , friendly and welcoming always there if you needed him . The cooked breakfast was lovely with the option to add extras to if you wanted which is something I've not really come across before my partner had the continental which she really enjoyed with plenty of options , also another nice touch is he refills trays on each landing with teas and coffee and milk so you don't have to go down stairs and ask all the time when you run out . Room was great ,large with king size bed and shower .

There is nothing about this place not too like it's superb

Great location, close to the Bournemouth O2. Lovely clean room,very comfy bed and nice bedding. Duncan the host was very welcoming and cooked a delicious breakfast which was included in the price.There is parking on the front of the property or free parking in the street.Boscombe beach is a short drive away.

If I was going to be picky I would have liked a full length mirror in the room but I did notice there was one outside the room in the hallway.

The house is located in the quiet, cosy street, close to the Boscome centre and a short walk away from the seaside. The room has everything you need (and if something is missing, it's enough to ask - I was happy to find the iron and ironing board that I needed in the shared space). Duncan is a great and caring host. Breakfasts were not very diverse, but fresh and filling. A special "plus" for the tasty coffee :)
