The accommodation was situated in a great location, a stone's throw from the main bus station (intermodal) and metro (San Mamés). You could travel practically anywhere in the city from there, even the airport shuttle stops right there. You can enjoy a spacious terrace (or bring your dinner there), play pool, play table tennis, ... great value for a "budget" option.

The breakfast consists of a piece of fruit, a croissant, a bun with cheese/salami, a glass of juice, a cup of tea/coffee, you can also have a toast with margarine and/or jam. Certainly doable for a day, but generally gets repetitive and lacks more variability. But again, it's not a 5-star hotel, it is a university accommodation for students - keep that in mind.

Furniture. It has 2 desks and one foldable dining table. Plenty of space for two people to work from their laptops. It has mini fridge (I'd say quite spacious one), electric stovetop and a microwave. Bathroom is suitable for disabled people: it has a handle near the toilet, chair in the shower cabin. The shower cabin has foldable walls. 2nd floor has lounge with terrace, one pool table and two ping-pong table. Also a couple of coworking rooms and a gym (gym has a bench, a couple of 20kg bars, a couple of threadmills and one cable machine). Haven't used any of them tho.

Would be nice to have a small piece of soap in the bathroom.

The location is great, right above the bus station and very close to the San Mamés metro. It was very convenient for traveling around Bilbao and for day trips. The room was small, but it was clean and had its own bathroom with a shower, a small fridge, and AC. There is also a common area with a kitchen, a terrace, some vending machines with soft drinks and snacks, as well as a gym. The staff was nice, and it was easy to check in and check out. We arrived early, and it was possible to leave our luggage before check-in.

Although the beds were comfortable, the lack of proper linen was irritating. The quilt was wrapped in two sheets. The room was cleaned every three days; however, each time, they threw away unfinished complimentary shower gel and shampoo, which I consider unnecessary waste. The Wi-Fi required logging in with your name and surname every 24 hours. For an iron and hairdryer, you needed to go to the reception. And although the wardrobe was large, there were only three hangers.

- location close to tram/autobus/train/metro/shops/tourists attractions - bus from/to the airport stops just under that place - even though it is residence for students, it is a calm place, the whole floor was very silent at nights - possibility of storing luggage (before check in or after check out) - room looked like the new one (e.g. brand new hob, refrigerators and microwave, hairdryer)

- as per booking.com info, it is possible to check in from 3PM, whereas as per info that we received on reception desk, it was possible from 2PM. I perceived it as something positive, nevertheless for people willing to check in earlier it is a bit misleading - depending on a day/hour, sometimes people being on reception do not speak English. They do their best to assist (we know Spanish so it was not a problem), but once again, for those who cannot speak/understand Spanish, it might be a bit problematic, alternatively, use google translate :) ) - during mornings there was not warm water - kitchen could be better equipped - there was no dishwashing liquid, sponge or cloth. There were also no forks (these would probably have been provided if you had asked at the reception)

Location was excellent, close to the city centre and right next to tram, bus and underground routes. Car parking in the public Intermodal underground parking was easy and secure, and 15€ a day. Rooms were quiet and comfortable, exactly like the pictures. Common facilities on the 2nd floor like relaxing space (indoors & out), laundry, quiet study room etc were excellent. Staff very friendly and perfect English spoken. I had a bicycle with me, and taking it to my room was no issue.

It got 9 rather than 10 from me for 3 reasons, all of which they could resolve if they wanted to. 1) The payment machine for the laundry wasn't working. Only contactless was possible, and it just wasn't talking to the washing machines. Surely the must have noticed they are not taking any money! 2) The air con won't go any lower than 23, and I prefer about 21, which made the nights a bit too warm for my liking for a good night's sleep. It should be in the property description. 3) No spyhole in the room door, which I think is a safety & security issue. All that said, i would definitely stay again.

Excellent location, directly above major transit hubs. Staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English. Room was clean, tidy and sported a private bathroom. Limited cooking facilities were present in the room, a sink and microwave. I was travelling with a friend and two single beds were provided which were very comfortable. Air conditioning was available in the room. Reception desk is staffed 24 hours. There is a communal area on floor 2 but we never got around to visiting as we were very busy exploring the historic Basque city of Bilbao! If you are looking to travel on a budget but value your own space, this is worth considering! The building is student accomodation so is only available outside of term time so be sure to check with resa inn.

Cooking area could be more comprehensive but it was a small room and not a studio. Really couldn't fault the place, especially for the price in the middle of a major city! Be advised: A hostel membership is required to stay here, the residence informed me of this a few days prior to our check in. However, this membership can be purchased on arrival or online and grants you access to many other residences in Spain and across Europe. Our price was a meagre €4 for a year, well worth it in my opinion. There is no age restriction.

Very nice accommodation! Quite simple/no luxury, but clean and with everything you need for a short stay. The location is great – walking distance to the centre and the main attractions, but also just a few steps away from the metro station, train station and bus station, so that you could easily and with no effort at all, reach all locations within and outside the city (including the airport). The staff working at the reception is polite and helpful. Note that there is no TV in the room, but for me this was not an issue at all. Good quality wi-fi. The kitchenette can also be quite useful (micro oven included). All in all – very good value for the price.

The only issue that I had with this place is the initial difficulty in finding the entrance, since at the door, there is no sign or table or smth. similar. That's why I provide the photo of the entrance, that might help other guests coming here for the first time.

The Residencia is a Student Hostel - that (perhaps) rents out their free rooms during the summer. The room is self sufficient for a student living alone. And It met / exceeded my needs. Pros: Close to Bus Station (Intercity) / Close to Tram and Metro. Excellent views of the Surrounding Hills. Walking Distance to San Mames Stadium (Important - as I was visiting Bilbao for the Women's Champion's League Finals). 10-15 Minute Metro Commute to central Bilbao (Guggenheim Museum, Train Station (Intercity) etc.). Room has a microwave, Fridge, Stove - and lots of Storage space ! (That was not required for me - as I was traveling for just 3 days and sampled the restaurants in Bilbao)

Location near the stadium with a very convenient transport possibilities (tram, metro within a walking distance and if you want go outside of Bilbao below the ground there is a bus station - having also direct bus to & from the airport). Quite a distance to Casco Viejo. The room was small and very clean - we did not spent a lot of time in it, so still ok. In the building there is a social space on the 2nd floor with laundry, vending machines, kitchen and other useful things. There was also a possibility to leave the luggage before the check in and after check out. We did not used the breakfast option (there are plenty of possibilities for good breakfast near the place)

Quite a big building and despite 3 elevators we still needed to wait for some time for them

The kitchen was kind of fully equipped, the hot shower worked perfect, and what I liked the most is the desk that can be used for studying as well as eating and watching tablets. The room was quite big for as a single room with plenty of spaces to put things. If you plan to use busses for travelling this hotel is perfect as it is located in the same building of the bus center.

Nothing particular but if you arrive on Sunday, the reception is covered by a kind of security person and I had difficulty communication in English. Another thins is there was no electric kettle so that I boiled water by using a pan.
