The staff were amazing, very welcoming and helpful. The hotel was quiet and had lovely peaceful gardens. We slept well on comfortable beds Plenty of storage in the room. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice .Dinner in the restaurant was excellent with a good choice of dishes, presented well by friendly, professional staff.

We were disappointed that the pool wasn't open, especially as it was extremely hot weather during our stay. Just a minor detail to point out, there are a lot of marks on the furniture in the bedroom , although this did not detract from our enjoyment, it would be a quick fix and make the room perfect.

We had an amazing stay at Palácio São Silvestre – everything was absolutely perfect. The building itself is stunning, full of history and charm, but at the same time very comfortable and modern. The rooms were spotless, the beds super cozy, and the staff incredibly friendly and helpful. The vibe of the place is just fantastic – peaceful, elegant, and unique. You really feel like you’re staying in a historical palace, but with all the modern touches you need (including excellent Wi-Fi!). The pool and spa area were a highlight, and the entire property is beautifully maintained.

I loved everything about this hotel, the size of the hotel, the size of the room, the food in the restaurant, the team the parking space the area around the hotel, the service that was 24/7 I guess, the price the location which is 15 to 20 minutes just outside of the hustle and bustle of Coimbra, the beauty of the hotel everything is so comfortable and beautiful, the people that live around are very nice, there's a bakery that prepares food and a pharmacy and a supermarket just 100 m from the hotel, so if you're looking for something outside the hotel that's close by on foot it's very accessible, there's a big river just 200 m from the hotel where you can go for hiking, everything is amazing about this place really.

That I didn't stay longer, I would definitely go back

Nice, small, cosy hotel. Friendly staff. They just have a jacuzzi in one suit, not for everybody's use, this was a little bit sad, but the sauna and steam room were very good, and you can book it just for your privet sessions. Good size pool outside, just I was in November didn't try it, but in warmer season should be lovely, but still nice area outside, very quiet and relaxing. Lovely old church not far from the hotel, quiet village. Dinner in the restaurant was very delicious, breakfast had good choice of food, and restaurant staff very nice and helpful, all small details done with nice style, even tableware so gorgeous. I enjoyed staying there and had a good rest.

Very nice boutique Hotel inside a Historical Building and very close to Coimbra. The satff was very friendlly and speaking diferent languagues. The decoration very nice, room big and confortable and place to parking available. The breakfast was very good with local products. Last but not the least, the Restaurant was amazing, really a five stars restaurant, I was ipressed with the veal and the Codfish, you have more then 1000 ways of prepare codfish, I eat codfish more then 1000 times, this was in my top 5.

Swiming Pool not yet available, but it was raining and cols so....

The hotel and grounds are lovely. Nice pool with bathroom and shower, outdoor cafe, and lounge area, play areas, tennis and raquetball courts. Pool towels and raquets are available for check out at the front desk. Good bed, larger than normal tv and very spacious room and bathroom with tub. Flowering trees, well maintained lawns, hedges, fruit trees and grape vines.

The refrigerator was trapped in the cabinet with no way to open it and use it because of the cabinet hinges in room 15. Perhaps this is not the case for the other rooms.

The hotel's team with the Paulas, Inês, Ana, Eduarda and Miguel in the restaurant and the reception team with Souza, Telma, Raquel and Ricardo were exceptionally solicitous in every aspect and deserve all the credits for the hotel success! Restaurant with good options and reasonable prices is a wonderful choice in the house. Maribeth as the masseur is exceptionally prepared to treat your every problem. We stayed there for more than a month and were able to see the dedication all the employees have for their job and the place itself! Congratulations to all of them!

Really, nothing very important to report.

The grounds and amenities were beautiful and comfortable. We especially liked all of the community spaces as we were travelling as an extended family and this allowed us to gather together outside of the individual rooms. Breakfast was delicious with a lot of variety. We ordered a room service dessert that was incredible. The best part of the stay was the staff. Everyone was incredibly welcoming and kind, from the front desk, to housekeeping to restaurant. My son left behind his favorite stuffed animal and they even arranged to have it shipped to us at a future stop on our itinerary. Would highly recommend.

The only downside for us (and others may see this as a benefit) was that the mattress was incredibly firm.
