The beds were very comfortable, staff were friendly, and the motel central to everything we wanted to do. Our room was made up fresh each day, and generally (other than our own kids lol) it was a nice, quiet spot to stay.

Despite our booking being for 2 adults and 2 children, there were only 2 bowls and plates. One of the mugs was dirty on the outside, like a cupasoup type substance, and never got cleaned properly. A hand towel would have been handy. Our TV remote had not batteries so we had to purchase our own.

Location was very central. Close to amenities. The room was big. I would have liked a better configuration of the beds and the table, using more of the space with 2 single beds. Maybe even a little couch to watch telly. The motel itself had a restaurant and coffee shop open early. The shower had nice hot water and toiletries. Little fridge was good and plenty of bench space. I would have liked more bench space to place clothes or bags high of the ground.

Having read some of the views we were a little apprehensive about staying here. But when we arrived we found parking easy, room to be clean, beds comfy, heater working, no outside noise could be heard. We enjoyed the one night there as we were passing through on our travels. The bathroom was dated but still functional.

There is a locked door in the room that opens into the next room and so their TV could be heard. A tile in the bathroom covers up some part of the vanity that is deteriorating. Didn't affect our stay for what we paid for the room I can't complain.

I was surprised that it was possible to get a hotel room anywhere in Australia for less than $100. The beds were relatively new as was the fridge, toaster, kettle, aircon, tv and blinds. Some cutlery and crockery was provided which was handy. Original bathroom but a good layout with ample counter space and good hot water. The room and bedding was clean. Only issue was probably the lack of a fan/ventilation in the bathroom, which meant some mould on the walls. Some of the furniture was old and worn, but still practical.

I liked all the toiletries and the cutlery and crockery, even though I didn't use the latter because I had my own. I liked being able to put out the 'Do Not Disturb' sign and have it respected!

The towel rail was missing, a couple of lights were not working - little things like that. The basin plug did not fit. I think I should have been notified in advance that the reception was now in the motel next door, rather than turning up and reading the sign.

The hotel was cheap, and had everything we needed for our stay. The staff were very friendly and I would recommend this place as great value for money!

Probably nothing the hotel could do, but our neighbours seem to chat all night, but also chat all morning! Just some oldies living their best life I guess lol

Check in was fast, easy & friendly. Plenty of parking spots. Great hot shower, with excellent pressure.

Check- in an odd set up. Room dated but it works & was clean without highway noise. Had a pool that seemed to work & was clean but gates were locked & it was 29deg, seemed a waste. (Not hotels fault but other guest groups talking loudly outside, when they finally went inside we had to listen to them till 11pm through a shared wall, knocking on adjoining door & asking them to lower their voices didn't help (may have been a language barrier)

TV was unable to connect with WI-fi. The TV signal was very poor. 1 power point was not working. Lucky there was electric extension power cord was there. Water was dripping from Air-con at the entrance of room. Otherwise the room was in very good and excellent condition. All 3 beds are very comfortable and cossy.

It was suitable for what we needed and was close to where we were going to be while in Mt Gambier. Room was cozy, didn't need to use the heater. Shower was nice & hot.

My husband didn't like the bed it was hard & he said the springs were poking up. He did ask for a mattress topper which was provided for the 2nd night. My single bed was fine. The fridge was too cold it froze the fruit we had for our son. Curtains could also be better broken next to where head of bed is let's in alot of light.

Was as stated, 3 stars, decent sized bed and comfortable, good enough location to be able to walk in and out of the city centre.

The Bus tours come nightly and the people on them are spread over many different rooms who move from room to room all night long, very loud and annoying.
