Staff was welcoming and courteous. Accommodated a late check out due to having to attend my sons graduation. Lobby was very clean and quiet. Room was clean. A/C was very cool.

Room door was sticking and loud. Need better condiments for in room coffee machine to match the look and feel of the Inn. Pool area had lots of ants in the seating area so an occasional spraying wouldn't hurt.

This is a large and well-maintained property in an ideal location in West Asheville. The lobby is cavernous, the pool expansive, and the rooms, although on the small side, are well-appointed. All in all, it is an excellent value for the price. Staff is very attentive. Although in a busy area, the hotel is quiet.

The beds could be more comfortable, and the a/c units do not have an option for constant fan plus a/c. This option would allow for white noise to sleep by.

The staff was professional and friendly. Maria from the grill/bar was exceptional, and I would have to say she went above and beyond. By our second visit, she knew our drink order (13 yo, 1.5 yo, and me). She observed that my baby likes fruit, so she brought slices of watermelon so the baby can snack on so my son could enjoy our dinner. She actually took the time to talk to us. In just 2 days I felt like I made a new friend. Also, shout our to Kate at the front desk for being understanding that I was stressed bc my key card stopped working the second day and I literally left everything in the room but the card. I gave her basic info to look up my account and she quickly got me a new working key card without giving me a hard time. These 2 staff members stick out the most. But we had a pleasant encounter with all of staff.

I think it's great that kids eat free. I was disappointed at first with it costing $14. Most areas of the breakfast buffet were skimp and difficult to get out of the tray . For example, all the pancakes were stuck, and when you picked up one with the tongs, the entire row of pancakes tore; leaving it look very messy for the next person. Overall, I got my money's worth with my kids' appetite. The food tasted good. Just skimp on what's out. Customers had to tell the hostess that 4 trays were empty and it needed to be refilled. I would just suggest that they make rounds and see what needs to be replenished.

The staff at Holiday Inn Biltmore West were wonderful. They go beyond in their service for the hotel guests. They were absolutely the best!!! The rooms were very nice, clean and extremely comfortable. The beds and pillows were amazing. First time since my car accident in January, that I could sleep in a bed and not wake up with my back absolutely killing me. Woke up with no back pain.

The elevators are too slow.

Spaciousness of room, walk-in shower (I’m handicapped). Grab bars in shower and next to toilet. The floor of shower was not slick.

Was taken back by no free breakfast. Breakfast buffet was set up like every other motel/hotels free breakfast but this hotel charged for it. Did not eat there. Would prefer two beds. Don’t like sharing bed with friend. Most handicap rooms are one bed which can be awkward. The closet hanging space was very small in rm 211. Didn’t like being on 2nd floor. What if there was fire. How could handicap get out of building?

I enjoyed my stay here while visiting downtown Asheville and the Biltmore Estate. The staff were friendly and the hotel was very clean. Check in and out went well thanks to Nina. The buffet was delicious as well as the restaurant with a bar. In addition, I felt very safe during my stay here. I do recommend if you’re in Asheville to stay at this hotel.

Very easy check in process. The lobby is beautiful, full of live plants and tons of natural light. The pool was very clean , nice relaxing environment. The room was spacious, the spa tub was amazing, the bed and pillows were so comfortable. Staff were super helpful. Very pet friendly.

The hotel was beautiful. In a great location. The beds were soft and comfortable. Was impressed they had DOVE products in the bathroom. Staff was very friendly. Would stay again.

The NOISE. We had a room on the 3rd floor by the pool. And it was so hard to sleep in. Then all morning we heard doors slamming and vacuum running. Did not get any rest Sunday morning. We was looking forward to some peace and quiet. However if we stay again we will request a room not by the pool area

Hotel was clean and easy to get to.

The walls are so thin. The couple in room next to ours were fighting ,& crying all night. I wanted to throw myself off the balcony! The doors slam so loud and no one had the courtesy to close them quietly. You could hear everything everyone coming down the halls, hotel lobbey and in adjoing rooms were saying. I'll never stay at another Holiday Inn. I was so exhausted after 2 nights of no sleep. Ridiculous.

Parking was adequate, room was clean and beds were comfortable. Bathrooms was nice and clean. Liked the light up mirror. Staff was helpful and kind.

Either my neighbor had a loud voice or there needed more insulation in the walls because I heard the whole conversation with his daughter about getting dressed and ready to go.
