Spotlessly maintained for my arrival and stay. And I'm very picky... Kitchenette well appointed with Keurig, kettle and minimal dishes cups etc. Would have been nice to have wine glasses. Bathroom spotless as well...new plumbing fixture for the toilette height. Parking was great each room assigned a parking space. Walk to the beach1/2 block away. Will definitely return,. Not a hotel for business amenities, it's a great beach vacation for short stays up to a couple of weeks.

wifi router in room had a light that made the room kind of bright...needs some attention to 'calm that light'

Room was exceptionally clean with all amenities and the bed was one of the comfiest I've slept in in the whole of North America! Free parking space allotted to your room, and the price was really reasonable compared to other motels in the area. (Some less salubrious too!) Couldn't fault it. Well worth 5 stars.

Our room was on the second floor up a steep, outside staircase and I'm partially disabled...but I forgot to ask for a ground floor room when I booked. The motel was full up anyway. I managed ok though and it certainly didn't detract from our overnight stay. Still 5 stars!

Very comfortable bed and the room was spotlessly clean. There was a coffee maker with a good selection of coffees to try. Plenty of equipment to cook a meal if you don’t feel like dining out. There is a lovely little garden with an ocean view - perfect spot for my morning coffee! There were also lovely hanging flower pots and bunting lighting, which made the motel very pretty. I would very happily stay here again.

Some noise from the room above (pipes, footsteps) but not too much and nothing that the property can easily change.

This looks like a classic motel from the 1970s on the outside. But on the inside it has been updated with a lot of comforts. The price was one of the best in Qualicum Beach during our stay. We had a 2 queen bed room. It includes a small fridge, a Keurig machine with multiple choices for coffee and tea, actual china cups and glasses vice paper, and very nice bedding. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our visit was a quick one night stay but we would definitely return.

Only surprise was the lack of an iron and ironing board. But who needs to iron on vacation.

A great value, comfortable place to stay in lovely Qualicum Beach. Very comfortable bed with luxury bed linens.Decent coffee choices, earl grey tea in the room and chocolates in reception. Short walk to the beach and to a couple of restaurants.

Only 1 bedside light in our room, no 202 with a navy light shade, too dark to read by. 2 lights with cream or white shades would make the room perfect.

Very clean and quiet Had a god cable system or the large, flat screen TV and a Keurig coffee maker with a small fridge and microwave.

We ran out of toilet paper and could have used a better supply of towels The AC unit was quirky and didn’t maintain the set temperature, resulting in th room becoming either too cold or too warm overnight. No exhaust fan in bathroom.

The rooms are large and spacious. Even thought we didn’t request it, the room had 2 king size beds, which gives an idea of how large the room is. Large screen tv, good for Stanley Cup hockey games, microwave, refirdgerator and Koerig coffee maker.

Nothing not to like except that the rooms look out onto the parking lot, but not really a problem.

I needed a room for 2 nights and Ocean Crest came through for me which I'm incredibly grateful. The staff were amazing, very friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean and well made up - i was very grateful for the A/C! Location is fantastic...Beach access is just across the street. Thank you, Ocean Crest!

Staff found someone to trade with so I could have a ground floor room as I walk with a cane. The other guests seemed happy to move to the 2nd floor walk-up which had a better view and they were ok with stairs. Loved the msuve lamp that was colour coordinated with the curtains. Someone put some thought into this.

Bathtub could use a grab bar for safety and for some reason there was no soap dish or shelf for shampoo in the shower/tub area, only next to the toilet. Coffee maker was appreciated but would have liked long-life milk or powdered cream substitute to go with it.

It was extremely clean and renovation made it fresh. Perfect place to rest your head. The lady in the office, was welcoming and so sweet. Loved the little kitchen set up they had available. Bed was very comfortable. Nice size TV, coffee maker was great for morning coffee. Air conditioning worked well. Our car was parked outside of our room. Walking distance to beach and little beach side restaurants. City centre was a 5 minute drive away. We felt safe and it was so wonderfully quiet.

Nothing, it worked perfectly for my husband and I.
