Location of the hotel close to the Light Rail and arts/recreational precinct. Booked a city view room but we were offered a city/harbour view room at check-in. This was the second time we stayed at the hotel and the rooms were both of decent size with two double beds, and separate toilet/bathroom.

This is a popular hotel amongst the locals and oversea tour groups so the front reception area can be chaotic at times. The breakfast during our stay was average, with the kitchen staff trying to feed the numerous tour groups and individual hotel guests focusing on bulk volumes rather than quality.

I moved into this hotel after escaping from another very disappointing accommodation and I'm very glad I did: I got a last minute deal and it wa a great upgrade! This is a large, modern hotel and The room was huge, with separate toilet and shower. Very professional, English speaking staff. Large breakfast buffet (although mostly Chinese food is offered) with clear labels in English for vegeterian dishes. The location right at the Pier2 was great.

Considering the hotel level and normal price, it would have been good with something like Netflix and/or international channels on the tv, rather than just lots of Chinese channels. The continental part of the breakfast buffet could be improved. The place doesn't really have a character, but that's the way it is for a big business of this type...

Rooms were big, the bathroom was very comfortable too, had a big balcony with really nice view, the drinks in the minibar were nice and the snacks were delicious, the rooms were very quite, check in and check out process were super fast and easy, i also liked that i could make an early check-in

The hotel has 3 elevators, i used the one in the right, when i reached my floor and the elevator opens, there is NO sign in front showing which room numbers are on the left side or the right side, so you feel lost, you only can clearly see the room number directions if you get out from the elevator on the left side.

Very quiet hotel. Comfy bed. Very clean & easy to get to public transport. Walk to the weekend market close by. Nice spacious lobby area to sit and read.

One thing that bugged us was the lack of a door into the general bathroom room area. Two cubicles one toilet and one shower had doors. But the wash basin area was open and so no privacy if you want to shave or brush your teeth without disturbing your room mate. Also our room looked into a central atrium, so no real window. And no net curtain, so if you didn't draw the main curtains every other room in the atrium could watch you get dressed etc.

If you want a location that is convenient for the Pier area, then i don't think you can beat this hotel! It's a large corporate hotel, but the staff are excellent and the facilities very good. I was able to store our 2 cycles in the lobby.

The breakfast choice was huge, and good quality, but western options were a bit limited. But still very good value for money. The quality of the coffee was only average.

Good location down by the dock area with all the arty stuff round there. The Pier2 Dali stop on the light rail (tram) stops very close. Very scenic area. Rooms spacious and clean. Good shower. Check in quick and efficient. Drinking water available in hallway.

Breakfast not very many western options but still has coffee + toast + jam/marmalade or scrambled egg, so ok. View from room uninspiring but I guess you have to pay a little more for better views.

Great location right on the waterfront by the bridge.

The room was a little dated and needed some repair. Towel rack in the shower was falling off. Air conditioning seemed to have a mind of its own and kept the room like a freezer. The staffs solution was to bring more blankets. Breakfast was mix of eastern and western food. Nothing to write home about though. For what it was I thought the price was a little high.

Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room and hot shower. Great location.

Room with "city view" is a room with a window IN THE SHOWER that faces the apartment building across the street. Breakfast was disappointing, with not many non-Taiwanese options. And the "western-style scrambled eggs" was doused in salt, making it inedible.

From our twin room on the 7th floor, we could see the bridge/harbor very well. :-))) We could see the tram running too. The location was fantastic,: It was right next to the tram station (the green line). Unfortunately, we didn't know it so we walked and walked and walked for about 25 minutes from the Red line station!@!%! (But on the good side we could see the town with lots of contempotary art, reminding us of Rotterdam). The staff were also very accommodating and efficient--with good English. Good breakfast, too.

1. The (same-everyday) breakfast buffet at 6:30 and ended at 9:30--was a little too early for me. 2. The big point for us was that we couldn't find any decent & reasonably-priced restaurants nearby at all. The ones across the movable bridge were rather expensive and not tasty. :-((

We totally enjoyed our brief stay at the hotel. It was very convenient in term of its location near the tram station (less than one minute walk). We also loved the hotel because it provides halal breakfast for muslim travellers like us. The staff was friendly and nice and accomodating.
