The location was great for us as a small family, very well shaded throughout, even on the sand. 5 min scooter ride into Saladan where you can get all you needs and it’s a quiet road too. Local little food vendors near the resort where you can get cheap eats. The staff were very attentive and even upgraded our stay which was awesome. We had a Thai grill on the beach and were very looked after the entire time. Shoutout to Nick who was bilingual and was very helpful. The pool was great too.

I guess the only thing I would say is that you need a scooter to get anywhere so if you aren’t comfortable riding one it’s a bit of a walk to any restaurants.

Absolutely stunning accommodation. It feels like you are staying in paradise. The 3 star rating is not reflective of this hotel as it is truly luxurious. The pool area and resort surroundings are immaculate with beautiful facilities. We stayed in a beach front suite which was beautiful with excellent decoration, walk on patio straight into the beach and fantastic air con. The food and drinks were lovely and a great choice at breakfast. We really enjoyed taco night. The staff were honestly fantastic, friendly, helpful and made our stay extra special. Big shout out to the resort operations coordinator, Nick, who made our stay comfortable and accommodating. His English was amazing and he arranged all the transfers for us. The whole staff asked us every morning how we were. We also had the pleasure of meeting the resort owner who was also extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Our children were very welcomed and loved the kids room. It was a great place for them to chill out and avoid the high temperatures. Twin Bay is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed and we really hope to return one day. If you are considering booking this accommodation, don’t hesitate as it’s the best place we stayed in Thailand. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful.

The pool sun beds are shaded but those on the lawn area are not so you have to move them about under the trees. These same beds could be cleaned a bit more regularly and maybe some parasols? The bar serves at best cool beer ( definitely no where near cold and served without an insulation sleeve! Where else in Thailand would this happen? Turn the fridge up and get something to keep it colder longer in the heat

Loved it chilled vibe. Currently having building renovations so upgraded to a bungalow on the beach for no extra cost which was kind and you cannot beat going to sleep and waking up to the beach view through huge glass patio doors. It's also very quiet with a wonderful pool right on the beach. The beach is very gently sloping so swimming is excellent and safe. It's at the end of the krung doa beach so you can easily walk the whole length. Though the bungalows are dated, they are huge and comfy and staff come and clean them everyday and top up your up teas coffees towels etc. Finally the staff are helpful, particularly Nick, who has outstanding English having been raised in New Zealand. Every vo.pany does pick up and drop offs from and to it.

Unless you can use a scooter or hire a car, getting around is very expensive. Twin bay hire both. Also the beach was littered. It's ok once you are at the low tide mark but you have to tread carefully to get there. I found this at all of the koh lanta beaches. Apparently it's the currents at low season but there's not quite true. Unlike beaches north of phuket, here resorts simply don't clean them. Furthermore locals, net fishing off the beach, drag in plastics and debris, which they leave on the low tide mark, once they have picked out the fish. I saw this everyday. Though it's depressing to see that amount of plastic and litter, it's worse knowing resorts can't be bothered to clean the beaches their businesses thrive on.

Where to start 🤔 Location, short tuk tuk from pier & town & very cheap. Resort is on the beach with a beautiful mother of pearl infinity pool which is fabulous, always clean & inviting. It’s on a lovely stretch of beach so there is a good walk down to far end which we did most days, there are bars if you want to stop & have a drink. Rooms are basic but clean, beds are firm but comfortable, good shower, room service daily with clean towels & complementary water, coffee/tea. Restaurant food is delicious never had a bad meal & price is ok, the fruit smoothies are amazing we tried them all 👌 Staff are wonderful, Mook was very helpful & called tour operators for us so we got what we wanted. We toured the Island, Kayaked, visited Mangroves & fed the lovely friendly monkeys that come down to the beach & also live in the mangroves. We were having such a lovely time we extended our stay for an additional 2 nights 😍. Would we go back? Most definitely

It is a beautiful location with everything you need onsite. The beach is a stones throw away from the pool and there are lots of bars/restaurants along the beach. The staff are super helpful and do kind and friendly. The place is spotless and I had all I needed. The town is only a short tuktuk ride away and there are markets to mooch around and lots of different places to eat. If you are struggling to choose a place to stay I highly recommend going to Twin Bay it really is paradise thanks to an amazing team who are only too happy to help you!

The resort is near the end of best part beach far enough away for peace from crowd ,close to bars and restaurants to walk, either road or along beach, leave hotel turn right walk say 500mts turn right down rd, then there is plenty choice to eat, our recommend is family owned l,madadoir? ,it has a boat on display, beach sand is lovely,even when tide out great for littleones, no rocks, Nick hotel manager great along with staff, our cleaner rm 331 was good, breakfast is basic as everywhere much the same. this resort is a top end 3 star.

Reception Taxi fare to our next resort 500 batts 15mins, when at other end asked same 300 Batts, ripped off. same if you ask go to town 100batts each , if peir 200 batts each, yet only 5 min walk from town to pier, somebody making money off guests! Resort restaurant soup picture shows nice round soup bowl, we had a flat dish say sides 20mm high, never ate there again.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this resort! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how well-maintained and spotless everything was. It was clear that the staff takes great pride in caring not only for the rooms but also for the entire property and, of course, their guests. The food was great. The pool area was fantastic — clean, inviting, and perfect for relaxation. The beach was equally stunning, with soft sand and crystal-clear water that made every moment there a delight. The resort's location was ideal, offering beautiful views and convenient access to nearby attractions. It felt like a true escape, where we could fully unwind and recharge.

Located at the northern end of Klong Dao beach. An unenviable choice of pool or the sea….. The crescent shaped beach is probably about 1.5-2km. About a 90 minute walk after breakfast before the sun gets too hot. Very nice breakfast included in price, and the pool bar was open throughout the day until about 9pm. Cafe/restaurant available, but I didn’t use it….preferred to walk along the beach to experience other hotels/cafes/bars … and was never disappointed. Was only here on Koh Lanta for 2 nights, so my best intentions to explore the other beaches never materialised. Twin Bay resort is definitely highly recommended

We loved the location out of the main centre of the island and the fact that it is a small resort in relation to many others with direct access to the beach. It was lovely to lay in the pool and look out to sea and also alternate between beach and poolside. The staff were extremely friendly and obliging. The room was spacious and clean, equipped as described and the restaurant had good variety for breakfast and all other meals. Massage available nearby. Tuk tuks generally available for travel into other areas, but when not the resort arranged transport for us.
