It is next to the beach and various restaurants and or clubs. The place is conveniently close to the beach and the view of the beach is amazing from the apartment.

Strict rules regarding cleanliness. We were told not to dirty anything in the apartment and that in the event that anything is dirtied this will be deducted from the R1000 deposit. A deposit which was not specified to begin with prior to our arrival. Another thing we didn’t like was the long wait we were subjected to when we had to check out and receive our deposit back. It was very unpleasant and uncalled for. We were almost late for our flight.

We absolutely loved everything about our stay at Paxton Luxury Apartments. The unit was squeaky clean and fully equipped with everything we needed in a self catering unit. The rooftop setup and views are impeccable. The staff are extremely friendly and were accommodating to some few requests we had. The location is perfect, literally walking distance to a variety of restaurants, malls and the beach. The area is quite safe, we walked around 2am to Cubanna down the road with no issues. The other guests were also well behaved, there was no roudy behaviour and every guest we engaged with were so friendly especially when having a braai session at the rooftop

There is nothing we didnt like about the property. I just hope that there is a plan to install ACs in the units it does become quite hot (though the large windows and sliding doors aided in cooling but AC would be perfect)

We only stayed one night but the apartment was spotlessly clean with a lovely balcony with a sea view. The pool deck was amazing. Only a small pool but wonderful views over the beach. We got a takeaway and ate it there to enjoy the evening sun and the view. There are grills there and tables and benches if you wish to do a braii. We both slept well on the comfortable bed and there was no noise from the street outside to disturb us. The staff were welcoming and helpful. There were security in the street outside and there was a basement car park in the building which made us feel very secure. The following morning we did the Donkin heritage trail before we left the city and that was very interesting

Staff who were so friendly and welcoming. The complex and our accommodation spotless and a great deal of thought went into equipping the room we stayed in.

Abutting flat had interleading door to our room which was locked but did not mask the noisy occupants. This did not however ruin our stay. Fantastic rooftop leisure area with endless views. The security was also tops. Would definitely stay there again.

I don't like pay a R1000 'breakages' deposit on arrival, not break anything, and have to wait '3 to 4 working days' for my deposit to be repaid. It should be immediate.

Rooms are clean and the rooftop sitting facility provides great ocean views.

Noise from other occupants and that there's no air conditioning in the rooms is quite a big let down.

The apartments were neat, clean. The lady who was assisting us with cleaning the room was very friendly and would accommodate us where we had request, not forgetting the security guy who was also friendly and helpful. The pool area was a wow to me and my kids

Upon arrival I did not like the response that I got when I requested if I can check in early (a day before), but I eventually got help. And the original check in day when I am told to pay/top up security fee, whereas I explained my situation before hand but I was granted access at the end

Location, sea view and close to the mall

Wi fi signal was bad and there is this thing of paying 1k before checking in they said it is for damage’s yet I noticed that they look for a small thing for you not to get your 1k back.

The staff is friendly and patient

Towels are not changed daily, you are expected to use the same dirty towels for 3 days until they change. No welcoming coffee, how I wish they would have at least a welcoming coffee, though they maintain a self catering status, a welcoming coffee won’t hurt. The heat was on another level, no air conditioner in the apartments 🥵

Perfect location, close to the beach and the room was super clean and comfortable.

there were some noisy guests shouting in the corridor and stairs in the middle of the night. The facility has strict rules against noise but I guess those guest decided to ignore those rules.
