Breakfast was poor, it seemed as if the bacon had been thrown into the food warmer without having been previously cooked, same goes for the sausages. Scrambled eggs were dry and the potato cake was cold. There was no fish selection in the cold section. No sauteed mushrooms nor hot boiled eggs. I extended my stay by 2 nights and upon check-out I was told breakfast was not included with the extra nights and that there was an outstanding of 2 breakfasts to be paid. I assumed that when my initial reservation included breakfast and I extended it, breakfast would be added also to the new reservation. There was no fridge in the room Shower head was leaking There were no electrical outlets next to the bed so I had to leave my phone to charge on the desk overnight.

Amazingly comfortable bed. The location of the hotel is superb, just across the hotel you have the subway (green line (L5) and red line (L2)) that connects you with downtown in just 15min. Plenty of restaurants and brunch/dinner options with not only tapas places, you can find burgers and more sophisticated places to have a more deluxe experience. Breakfast at the hotel was very good. They had the best tortilla de patata ever! You could find all kind of cold cuts (jamon serrano, cheese...etc), also yogurt, cereal and fruits, several types of breads... etc... very impressive.

The room was facing to the interior patio, therefore no natural light at all. There was not socket or USB option close to the bed, so no possibility to charge your phone close to you. You had to leave it on the table across the room overnight. The room seemed old or well used, furniture was not in the best condition. I asked to do a late check-out of only 2 hours because I needed to attend an online meeting, and they wanted to charge me 15 EUR to use the room for that purpose! Unacceptable.

Good location (proximity to metro and many restaurants in the area), very friendly staff, nice and spacy room with comfortable bed. Overall hotel as well as a room was very clean. Positive was, that I was able to log in to my youtube on a TV in the room.

The bathroom (despite it was nice and well equipped) was very cold, especially the floor. Stepping there barefoot was almost painful :)

Loved the location, supermarket, metro, shops all within 50m from the hotel. Staff was really nice and willing to help us, the room was clean, cosy and accommodating. Very good breakfast

One thing that needs improvement is that both days that we had breakfast the tables and chair were littered with crumbs, even though the second day the room was empty when we got there.

Very good location next to Arena del Toro and 1 min from Ventas metro station line 2. The staff was very friendly and eager to help in every query we had. The receptionist helped me communicate with the taxi driver that didn't know any English. Breakfast was very good.

We had a corner room and it was a bit smaller that we though, also the bed and pillows were not so comfy. The period that we traveled it was really hot and i would be great if the ac was turned on cool and not only heat.

Very comfortable bed, large bathroom. Also, the hotel is located near the metro, which is very convenient. You can purchase breakfast at the hotel.

Some of the room windows face the 'inner courtyard,' meaning they look out onto the opposite wall, and because of this, it gets very stuffy in the room. We couldn't manage to turn on the air conditioner, even though we were told at the reception that everything was working. We tried to open the window, but since it faces a closed courtyard, it was of no use.

I like that it was quiet and clean. Most important for me. Also the location is very important.

On Thursday morning (19th of Jul) there was a staff member waking people up by knocking into the doors and asking if we need some cleaning. Depends on the situation, some people wake up early, some people need to stay in bed longer.

This time I got an amazing room. Facing the interior patio, however, it was high enough to get some natural light. I book this hotel very often, and the reason why I keep doing it is because they have amazing comfortable beds and pillows. The location is perfect, it's not downtown but close enough, only 20 min by subway, so you don't have the feeling of crows plus you have plenty of restaurants, brunch places, and supermarkets nearby.

Limited stay in Madrid, so I couldn't have more time to chill and enjoy the comfy bed at the hotel.

View from the window was not existent, but it did not matter to me. There was no socket next to bed to charge phone conveniently, but luckily i had a long cable to reach the one at the desk. I know its a cultural difference, but I will never understand the lack of toilet brush in the bathroom! There is actually nothing real to complain about if you come there only to sleep.

The location was excellent. My room with a view of the square was excellent value for money. Breakfast was also very good. My room was simple, clean and comfortable- again excellent value for money.

The shower wash was a little basic. If known I would have brought my own.
