The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The location is fabulous. Close to everything- walking is great and there is a protected bike lane right on St Dennis. A Metro station is right across the street. Close to pedestrianized streets. Excellent restaurants close by. The free breakfast was really good. The hotel has a fabulous rooftop patio !
The front door does not have an accessibility button. We were very surprised about this. Often the front door is open which is really great. But if it is not open, it is more difficult to bring in luggage and bicycles.

I loved the attitude of the personnel towards the guests. Every request we made was accommodated with a smile. This is very rare nowadays, as in many other places, when you ask for something, the response is often, "we cannot do anything because of our rules". Here, I felt like I was talking to humans who actually wanted to make our stay as pleasant as possible, not robots doing the minimal amount of their job. After reporting some problems with the first room, we were moved to a very nice room for the rest of our stay. The hotel is situated extremely conveniently, almost in front of the entrance to the metro station and in a quiet neighborhood, so we could sleep even with a room on the first floor facing the street. In addition, there are very nice restaurants and bars within just a few minutes walking from the hotel. The hotel has a very nice terrace where you can eat breakfast or enjoy a coffee. The breakfast is basic but very nice, and I also loved the fact that coffee was available for the guests until 1 pm every day. If I return to Montreal, I will choose this place to stay again.

The size of the room was very generous and larger than it appeared in the photos. Kitchen area had all the essentials including an actual stove not just a microwave. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of different choices - pastries, Montreal bagels, cheese, yogurt, eggs, salmon. The roof top patio is a hidden gem! Looks out over the Carre St. Louis and has lots of little seating nooks for folks to gather. It alone would definitely make me want to return to the hotel! Staff was sweet and helpful. The hotel is in the heart of the bustling neighborhood (but very quiet inside) with lots of restaurants to choose from right at your doorstep. And just a couple blocks to the subway - extremely well located.
Bathroom could use a deep clean.

The room was fine, modern, and spacious. The breakfast was ok.
We didn't receive the room in the main building. The room was on the 2nd floor of a building where access was through a narrow and steep staircase. There is no elevator. Carrying the luggage up two floors on some steep stairs was very unpleasant. The shared kitchen for the two rented rooms had a large table (enough for 4 people) but no chairs. We would bring the chairs from the rooms, but there were only armchairs. The kitchen was very well equipped, with a very large stove and hood, but there was no pot/pan/kettle. We had no intention of cooking but we wanted to make tea and it was not possible without a container in which to boil water. We were suggested to boil water in the coffee filter.

Fantastic location! We could walk everywhere and the Metro station is very close. Beautiful rooftop patio and nice patio off the room. The option to use the spa is a nice addition and they offer a guest discount. The spa is lovely and relaxing. The breakfast was very good! Staff were helpful and friendly.
Unfortunately a cleaning person left our room door wide open while we were out for the day. The door required a hard pull to lock and each time we left we double-checked it. Coming back to find it wide open was very upsetting. We were told, "Oh, well, nobody was around, so your things should be okay". When we spoke to the front desk about this they "educated" us on how to ensure the door was locked. Not a happy situation but the only bad part of a really nice stay. Next time, I would stay here again and just use a "do not disturb" sign to make sure nobody opens our door.

The location in the Plateau neighborhood is fantastic, just a short walk to the subway. The staff were always polite and helpful, cleaning services were regular. The hotel’s spa, though it comes at an extra cost, was totally worth it. Our room had a nice balcony which we loved. Might consider this place again next time!
The room (Superior Queen) was a bit of a letdown. The interior felt old and worn down. It was small and not very ergonomic. The bathroom sink was awkward to use because of the limited space. We also had an issue with the fridge – it froze our wine and beer overnight. The bed was quite squeaky.

Location was great and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was clean. The booking.com discount we could use made the room affordable. The continental breakfast the next morning had amazing croissants.
The Wi-Fi kept dropping so we couldn't watch tv. The room was over priced considering the countertop was broken, the heating rad in the bathroom looked completely rusted and the picture beside the bed was just a cheap frame and falling apart. We got a discount because of booking.com so for the price we paid it was fine but if I had paid the full price I would have been disappointed

The space was excellent. My husband and I had plenty of room and were very comfortable. The location is also great. It's a very short walk to the metro, which is easy to navigate. We really only had 1.5 days to explore Montreal, and we were able to do a lot thanks to the convenience to public transportation. We also really enjoyed the terrace on the fourth floor.
This is minor, but our room was on the front of the building and seemed to be right across from a very busy nightlife establishment. It was a little loud when we were trying to go to bed, but overall this didn't detract from our stay...plus, perhaps we should have expected that staying in a city on the weekend.

The hotel was equipped with good quality amenities, the people working there were for the most part very nice all the time and it was very nice just to be around the hotel. The breakfast was good.
The booking page said the parking was included but when we got there we had to pay for it. Also, they didn't make our bed because there was a laptop on top of it that we had put there because we left the room in a rush. I think that is the first time I have heard something like that happen in a good quality hotel. Usually they clean and arrange the whole room, regardless of what is on top of everything.

Our Room was a great size for our needs. However the bathroom has seen better days and was a bit small. The beds were comfortable, but the comforters were very warm... too warm for summer! Overall a very nice room.
As mentioned the bathroom was a bit rough compared to the main room: cracked tiles, missing or mismatched hanging hardware on the walls, worn toilet seat. Compared to the room itself which looked much more recent, the bathroom looked older. NOTE: Although we understood that it was Grand Prix weekend, we found the price differential between this weekend and normal rates very unreasonable. All establishments are doing it, we know, but we won't be paying that much again. Very nice place, but for the price we paid, there are much nicer places.
