This hotel is wonderfully located for exploring the old town and port area of Montreal. It is the closest hotel to the port if you are catching a cruise. It's a very short walk - no need for a taxi unless you have more luggage than you can push/carry/roll yourself. The staff work super hard yet are very friendly and accommodating. The cafe and bar are perfect for a little bite or drink.

There are steps ( 7 or so) to the reception area that are awkward with luggage. If you are disabled, the staff will let you use the employee entrance which has an elevator.

Unique style of 60-70´s. Even the vinyl LP-player combo with Bluetooth connection and some 60´s contemporary Canadian music LP´s in the room. Quality of bedding is very good and overall quality of the interior is super nice and well thought out. Easy to stay longer also. The bar downstairs was also nice serving drinks, toasts and other snacks to eat. Location is perfect at the old town. Rooms are quiet and aircondition is also silent and effective.

Breakfast included should be a bit more bigger. They serve it to your door in the mornings including a croissant or equivalent bread, small packed cheese, jam and a juice bottle. Could include also some yougurt to fill you more.

The staff on every shift were experienced, friendly and very accommodating. The breakfast delivered to the room was a nice bonus and for the most part was more than adequate. The location was excellent - close to old Montreal attractions and in easy walking distance to a variety of restaurants. Enjoyed the unique and very modern decor.

Everything was to our satisfaction. The only suggestion might be to provide an extra wall shelf by the sink to hold more personal items. Also, directions for operating the TV would be helpful rather than our having to impose on the staff to help.

From the staff to the convenient location Hotel Uville is in, what’s there not to love?! This charming hotel is very unique because its like a little museum which the staff encourages you to take a look through every floor to learn some history of Montreal :) my partner and I loved that it was walking distance from many places we wanted to go see and restaurants we wanted to try. The staff was so welcoming and nice. They were extremely helping walking us through a map of the city and giving us wonderful recommendations! We can’t wait to go back.

Great location by Vieux Port, on quiet street. Staff are all super friendly and helpful. Interesting retro décor and historical/cultural interpretation. Very clean and well furnished. Was able to park in secure lot off site. Breakfast delivered to room but we took it downstairs to eat in the cute café and have a nice table and chairs to sit on, and coffee in a china mug. Enjoyed our stay!

Would have appreciated a second chair in the room for sitting, and wished we had brought slippers as floor hard and cold.

Breakfast was ok - but would have been better if it was a croissant and not a bun! I like the juice and the method to deliver to our room was original :) ... The staff were amazing! So helpful and friendly. Location was excellent. The beds were SO comfortable!!!!

The only thing we didn't really like was the lighting in the room - there was a dimmer that did not work properly and the light flickered constantly. Done cheaply and it showed. The shower door was also broken - kept opening mid shower! Otherwise the room was great.

The location is excellent if you want to be able to walk around historic Montreal without having to go through mobs of tourists every time. The metro and reso are a short (albeit uphill) walk. The king sized bed was extremely comfortable.

Storage in the bathroom. Our room had the sink outside, and while that gave it a lot of light, it made for storing products a bit difficult. The coffee was nothing special, but there are ample options within 2 blocks of the hotel if you want to get espresso.

Very unique! We had a music artist themed room, won’t give it away, but very tasteful and clean facilities. My husband loved the mattress and has a bad back so that was a pleasant surprise. Nicely located in the old section, easy to get to. We didn’t have a car so cannot speak to parking. The owners were so helpful and everyone was friendly and polite. Breakfast was cool and just right. Great place to stay when in Montreal!!

Nothing. Honest. It was clean and had everything you needed.

All of the staff we encountered were absolutely lovely. It's close to plenty of nice restaurants. We really enjoyed being close to the port. It's a great area for walking. We really appreciated the breakfast they provided as well.

The ONLY issue we had was the location of our room. It was directly across from what appeared to be the laundry room. At around 7:30a it started to get quite noisy in the hallway. We now know to ask about the location of our room. It's definitely not a deal breaker. All the good aspects from this hotel definitely overshadow that one small annoyance.

The location was great. We could walk to sightsee, eat, shop, and walk to enjoy water views. The staff was top notch. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. Having access to cocktails, coffee, tea, and pastries was a plus.

Adding yogurt to the daily breakfast would have been nice. Things have changed since Covid and many hotels don’t offer daily housekeeping. You could request it here which was nice, but it would be even better if it was just provided.
