Sonder Apollon is a great place in an old building completely renovated. The location in Old Montreal is great too. The cleaning staff in the kitchen/living room area had missed a few spots but we received complimentary cleaning. Kitchen was adequately equipped. Beds were super comfortable. The apartments have very nice furniture and big windows.

This is a brand new place and a few things need to be adapted. The staff is super nice and helpful but very junior. The gym and sauna are not well-equipped: there is no treadmill (which is important to know when you visit in the winter season), no changing room and no place to leave a bag or clothes. Since there are no towels or bathrobes to go to the sauna, it is not really possible to enjoy it unless you take the elevators in your bathing suit. This should be improved for a better customer experience.

A beautiful property in a wonderful location. The apartments are stylishly decorated and fully equipped albeit slightly cramped.

I received an automated update that my card had been declined which would prevent check in notwithstanding my bank confirmed full payment. It was stressful having to call from the airport late at night to ensure that my codes would work as I was put on hold for a long time and no one responded to my email demonstrating successful payment. I eventually got through to a person who confirmed it was an automated email and there was nothing to worry about. Also there was a person on the desk at arrival which if I had known from the email would have reduced concern about access to the room.

Great location, spacious apartments with all amenities. Staff was quite friendly and helpful.

Cleanliness could be improved. We noticed several long strands of hair in the bathroom upon check-in. These were in very obvious places, so very surprising the housekeeping staff missed these. The toilet seat was particularly dirty. After we issued complaint, they sent someone for free cleaning the next day. The toilet could have still been cleaned more properly. We also had an issue with the power outlets in the bedroom. Ended up fixing it ourselves - again something you wouldn’t expect at this price point.

Cramped bedroom with bed pushed up against the wall. No bedside table on one side, and the unlucky one had to scramble over the other to get in and out of bed - or climb in from the foot of the bed. There was, just, sufficient room to pull the bed away from the wall, meaning the one bedside table on the other side had to be turned lengthwise, allowing access to both from the side. So, clearly, no bedside table to hold a phone, and no question of having a coffee in bed while reading the paper. No safe in the apartment

The hot tub was dirty, and there was a lack of towels at the gym/ pool sauna multiple times. We stayed for 6 nights and no room cleaning services were available at this location. These are all tiny things I noticed overall we had an amazing stay.

The apartment hotel was in an excellent location, within walking distance to many attractions such as Notre Dame Bascilica, Old Port, Downtown and Chinatown. The nearest metro station is about 8 minute walk away. Access to the apartment was easy with the access code. The apartment was clean and comfortable. We appreciated the mini kitchen with stove and fridge. The washer and dryer was a nice feature to have. We made use of the steam room and sauna.

The half wall enclosure for the shower was insufficient. When we showered the floor beyond the shower got wet. It would have also been nice to have shower facilities for men and women in the gym instead of just a toilet. Checking out was also confusing as I didn't see the tab to check out in the Sonder App. I had to call into Sonder but even then was not connected to front desk, but instead a CSR from headquarters. They weren't very helpful and said I had to personally speak to someone at front desk.

The property is in the old Board of Trade building and has been beautifully converted. Our one bedroom apartment was not large, but perfectly adequate and well equipped. Location is central but surprisingly quiet.

Sonder/Marriott’s admin is appalling. They were supposed to provide an access code to me, but didn’t. They didn’t respond to queries by email, text or via booking.com. Eventually I got through by phone - after a half hour wait - and resolved the issue. They need to get their act together!

I like the fact that we could get a 2 bedroom apartment for a reasonable rate. The apartment was clean and simple. The location is perfectly close to shops and restaurants and located on a quiet street.

There was no service in the lobby at all. There is a sitting area that is comfortable with a coffee and water station. However, they never supplied any glasses or cups for the coffee and water. When I asked at the front desk they said they were out. However, they were never replenished. I watched another guest go up, look for a cup and then resort to putting his mouth up to the spigot for water! Crazy! The front desk staff was friendly but sadly not accommodating.

This accommodation was hands down one of the chillest and most comfy places I’ve stayed at. Amazing location, great facilities. Got a spacious apartment that felt just like home, good bed and bathroom, dishwasher and the washer/dryer combination was also very useful. Loved the fact that it wasn’t like a hotel, and the no housekeeping thing didn’t even bother us at all! Could always get extra towels or other amenities at the desk. I would book here again if I were to ever visit Montreal in the future! Also kudos to staff as we were running late due to car trouble and they assured us that the booking would be fine and remained active, which definitely helped us ease our worries during a stressful moment and made us very relieved. Tip to potentional guests, be careful with leaving the car at the entrance to drop off bags, as we got a parking ticket of 93 cad for the 5 mins we parked there. For cheap underground parking (especially when freezing -10 like it did during our trip) go to 500 places du armes (underground parking at a bank building on 5 mins walking)

There wasn’t any points of improvement!

Very clean modern room , modern facilities and amazing mod cons. The digital check-in, keys, and check out were super user-friendly through the apps. Tho they did provide ear plugs being from a noise city, we slept like a log, and tbh the noise was minimal. Park close by was reasonable and secure. The gym was sparkling clean with great city views. Would totally recommend it. It is self-catering but has a kitchen - a 24-hour store up the street. With all the restaurants close by, we hardly used the facilities but was handy having them. Reatockingveassential was easy as you could help yourself from handy store room on 3rd floor

It was a little warm as they had not switched on the AC, but it was a warmer than usual week in april. We stayed on a two bedroom. Was perfect for 4 people
