Great central location, beautiful hostel with a focus on sustainability , which is great. But all amenities are provided. The beds were very cozy and showers were great! The staff is helpful and friendly.

The AC was on too often, which gave me a bad sleep, but the hostel staff offered me to move me to a different bed. This issue is not the hostel's fault in itself at all really, as it is more something to say about some hostel guests who kept turning on the AC on a rather mild night. Also, I am not sure if it is a general building standard in Canada/USA, but there were just few plugs in the room to charge my phone, away from the beds.

The beds were large and comfortable. There were curtains for privacy. The hostel is about 7 blocks from Square Victoria, the closest metro station. Staff was very helpful with directions, etc. The common room/kitchen was open and inviting.

Great well-run hostel really close to the old town and river in Montreal and well served by buses. Easy walk to everywhere you are likely to want to go. We booked a double room and had a double bed plus bunks in the room so plenty of space. The window opened and an aircon was available. Towels were included and there was even a chat of drawers and towel rails which was nice. Bathrooms were very clean and there were enough on each floor. Good showers and plenty of hot water. Reception staff were awesome. Always someone available 7am to 11pm, friendly and helpful. Kitchen is super well equipped with everything plus games, books etc. We missed the weekly poutine night (try to be there on a Thursday). There's a washing machine available after 4pm which is also handy. This is a really well run friendly hostel with a nice vibe, highly recommend.

Somewhere to put your soap in the shower would be handy. Otherwise everything was great.

The staff were very efficient and very helpfull. Excellent information and maps helping us find the wonderfull places in Montreal. Always happy to assist and help with anything I needed. I found the staff exceptionally welcoming, friendly and consistently offered high quality information. The rooms and amenities were always clean and the kitchen was exceptionally organised and had lovely sofas, tables and views.

I appreciated everything about this hostel and we had such a lovely time there. The staff were the best I have experienced in my travels and they genuinely cared about making my stay in Montreal a happy time. Valerie

Best Great Value hostel when on a tight budget. Great location, nearest to the Montreal Convention Centre where I am attending to for Otakuthon. Not many interaction with staff which is great check out no contact needed, but if needed they are still great kind and polite staffs.

No provided Breakfast unlike others Hostels. Some beds have no power bar extension sockets or lamp/light shade on the beds on the bunk rooms. (I had to DIY to fix this but still troublesome for other shared guest in the room) Stairs can be a hassle for some. Especially for heavy luggage.

The property is located at a very convenient location. It has good security as each customer is assigned a unique pin to only access to enter the facility and the area allocated to them.

I was in a shared room where one person snored like a train the whole night. Snoring loudly with different sounds. I hardly got some sleep. But you get what you pay for so this is not the fault of the facility. It’s the nature of the game. It should be expected.

Everyone was super friendly and the kitchen was very nice, will deffinately use next time

The outside smelled of sewage and the business across the street was blasting cooking smoke right at the entrance. The sewage i mean, it is what it is i guess thats kinda just the location. But the cooking smoke, the hostel should deffinately complain to the neighboring business cuz that is not ok. The spider webs could have been cleaned up a bit inside and the one window that was permanently open needs a screen to prevent bugs from coming in

Fantastic vibe in this hostel, where people were friendly and staff very helpful in giving suggestions for what to do during my stay. I had my own time to work, cook, chat, and experience the city. I loved the new bathroom on the 3rd floor and the comfy couches in the shared room.

The beds are a bit noisy and on the cheap side, but I had no problem sleeping.

Staffs were very nice and helpful. Atmospehre this hostel have was wonderfol, felt like home. They have a lot of dishes, cups, and kitchin goods you can freely use so very good for long stay as well. You can have some tea for free. Each beds have curtain, had more private which was nice.

There were only stairs, so if you have big suitcase it's gonna be tuff. Also there are not so many shower and toilet for each floor, sometime you have to wait. Might be only during winter, but you have to take off your shoes at the main floor before going up to prevent snow make floors wet.

There was a fully equipped kitchen, fridge, easy access to bathrooms at all times, the staff and people living here cares a lot about upcycling things donated by tenants and providing free foods, free events, and board games. Bed was comfortable. Shower had hot water.

AC in the room was hard to control, other guests were snoring aggressively through my ear plugs.
