The apartment was very comfortable with everything we could need, the room was warm and the kitchen was well equipped.

We had a lovely stay, but the check-in policy left a negative first impression. Charging guests extra to check in between 1 pm and 4 pm, even when the room is ready, feels unnecessary and creates a poor start to the experience. We arrived at 2 pm, and our room had just been cleaned, but we were still unable to check in without paying. While we understand policies are in place, the small revenue from early check-in fees doesn’t seem worth the negative impact on guests. That said, once we were checked in, everything else was great.

Location is good , the building has everything, and I like how secure it is, all with access key pad.

The room is smaller than the picture. The bathroom wash basinet was blocked the whole time, I used the kitchen wash basinet. The fridge was making noisy clicking sounds , woke me up few time. The area outside gets busy sometimes , you can and will hear people shouting from out side specially during the weekend.

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The location was excellent too. The kitchen was well stocked with crockery and appliances and the beds were comfortable. We stayed for a week and when we were alone there and didn't need the second bedroom, we loved the apartment.

Everything was great about the apartment except that it is not as described. Sonder calls it a 2 bedroom apartment. It is not. It is a studio apartment with an additional bedroom. One "bedroom" has only a partial wall. Our granddaughter and her friend came from university and stayed with us on the weekend. We had to walk past their room to get to the bathroom or to leave the apartment so it was awkward if the girls were changing or sleeping. Sonder does not mention this fact in their description of the apartment and they are careful not to show it in the photos either. We made it work but felt that Sonder misrepresented the apartment and we would not trust the description of any of their properties another time.

It was nice to have laundry but the washing machine was really mildewy.

The apartment was spacious, bright and well-equipped with a large terrace overlooking Rue Notre Dame and the the spires of the basilica. Located in the old town of Montreal, it was an easy walk to all of its special places. The entrance is in Rue St Jacques which has many grand buildings of the 19th and early 20th centuries. The staff of Sonder were very responsive when we encountered a problem which they resolved promptly and effectively. We highly recommend this property to visitors of Lovely Montreal.

The apartment is on the top floor and the noise of the air conditioners is bothersome at night (though ear plugs were provided). Also there were only two knives in the knife block, which was inadequate.

The property is in a good location, we were able to park on the street for free. The apartments were lovely, clean and well equipped

The front door and apartment door lock situation was painful. The front door code did not work, had to text the Sonder App chat which was also challenging as it took a while. Once inside we had trouble with both apartment door codes, had to again chat with Sonder App help to have them change the code to get us in. This was very time consuming and frustrating.

Very centrally located, yet quiet enough. Some earplugs were supplied on the bedside tables but we didn't need them... Clean Comfortable beds Washing machine and dryer

Maybe you could provide an explanation as to how to lock the door of the appartment as that wasn't immediately clear to us, so the first few days we were simply waiting until we heard the door lock automatically. Tip: we figured out that the door locks by simply putting your hand on the keypad.

Great location, walkable to metro, restaurants, underground mall, Notre dame, old Montreal and wharf. Unit was equipped with a generous amount of kitchen supplies and they even provided coffee and tea which was a very nice touch. Laundry detergent and dishwasher detergent was also provided. Staff was very helpful when I asked for more towels They came very quickly and gave us plenty for our stay.

Bathroom sink was cracked with mold in it! I had some jewelry fall under the bed and the amount of dust was crazy under the bed. We wouldn’t have known if the necklace hadn’t fallen underneath.

Love the location & room itself so much! Fave hotel I’ve ever stayed in… so cozy and just felt like I had my own little apartment in Montreal. I’d definitely come again and again!!!! Also the bed was super comfy. I have issues so often with beds in hotels being uncomfortable, but this bed was great! I just thought I’d mention cause I saw a review about how the bed was uncomfortable but I guess it all depends on the person!

I didn’t like that on the weekend the nightclub music next door was pretty loud, but that’s no fault of the property. They had earplugs and a sound machine to help drown that out. One thing about the actual property they should fix, is a kind of busted outlet. I was afraid to use it in case it was a fire hazard. Also outlets seemed to be in the most random places, so that’s why I knocked off a point. Overall amazing time and not much to complain about!

We loved the split bedroom layout, full size closets with hangers, and having our own bathrooms. The unit was spacious for the two of us and the kitchen had all of the supplies and small appliances to prepare a simple meal. We appreciated the full size shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers in the shower. The location was amazing! Just a 10 minute walk from the train station and a 10 minute walk to the Notre Dame. A central location but away from the noisy nightlife of Old Montreal.

There was a bit of noise transfer from the upper unit so we appreciated that ear plugs were provided! Thank you!
