Best place to stay in seahouses. Co.op just around the corner. Cafe for breakfast just across the road. ....not even 5 minutes walk to the harbour. .You will have your own parking space right outside the GUESTHOUSE too. We have stayed here lots of times. Room exceptional ...bed is sooooooo comfortable.....if I could have fitted it in my suitcase I would have lol 🤣🤣. Tea coffee...TV...wine glasses ....beautiful shower and body creams..Bathroom is beautiful too. ❤️ Bamburgh castle is only 4 miles away and the boats in the harbour run all day for sightseeing to the farne islands ...seals...birds colonies and dolphins.....MOST RECENTLY ORCAs ...YIP a pod of ORCAs spotted. Family of " free Willy's"! Lol. Lots of places to eat. Indian...Italian...seafood..also a few hotels with lovely menus and outside large beer gardens to watch the ships and harbour activity. Honestly you won't be disappointed. We wouldn't stay anywhere else now. The host Debbie is lovely and friendly. ( Nothing a bother...cards left in room incase u need to contact her at anytime....which we didn't....but good to know) . Can't wait to return in sept. Helen and David xxx

Coming home!

Me and my son booked in here for a one night stay to explore the load area. I’m pleased we did! The instructions for entry were sent straight away via message so didn’t even need to see anyone, we were told when our room was ready and we were able to access it promptly. The room its self was beautifully decorated with with a modern feel. I must say the bed was so comfortable!! I’d definitely book this again when I’m next in the area….. the only thing that was missing would be a breakfast included. ( went to cafe over the road and was really disappointed)

The Horncliffe has a really simple check in system. Which made our arrival easy and straight forward. The room was comfortable and clean. I believe we had the smallest room as it was the last one available although that being said it was more than functional. The facilities in the room were good and a lot of thought has gone into it. The modern ensuite had an amazing shower and again everything you would need was available. I managed to meet the owner who was a very friendly fellow and ensured we had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The accommodation is just around the corner to the local shops and restaurants. A 3 minute walk or 5 if slow walk, would see you at the local harbour. Around a half mile walk you are on beautiful almost white sand beaches. The accommodation overall is very good and of good value for the area.

Managed to check in really early by chance and met the host who was lovely. Great location, right by the beach and shops etc and great to have parking for each room. Good facilities for making teas/coffees/hot chocolates and we loved the mini fridge. We were initially looking for somewhere that included breakfast but at the price for this place we couldn’t complain, we also had family staying just down the road so it wasn’t an issue. The room was cosy, very clean, and provided us with everything we needed for a lovely few days by the beach.

Great location. Very clean with modern facilities. Just what we needed and literally only a minutes walk to shops and restaurants. Access was easy and the parking space a relief after a long drive! The bathroom was large and very well equipped. I had a coupe of questions for the host such as how to turn on the impressive towel rail heater and they responded very quickly. I would be very happy to stay here again and would recommend without hesitation.

There were tea and coffee facilities but there was only one sachet of milk in the fridge.

We stayed in the Superior King Room it had lots of space and the bathroom was very big with a shower over the bath. It exceeded our expectations and was excellent value for money. We booked room only but there were places very close by for breakfast. Free parking on site was an absolute bonus. Host was very friendly. The location to the centre was fantastic and it was also close to bus stops for trips to Bamburgh etc. Would highly recommend.

Excellent location being so close to the centre and our room number 3 was not facing main road so was nice and quiet. Room had a fridge which was very handy a tv and there was an iron and board to use. Rooms en suite was lovely with good spacious shower. Having private parking space on property which was off street was very useful. I met a member of the staff one morning and he was very polite and asked if we needed anything.

Nothing to dislike was an excellent place to stay and will definitely be staying there again 😁

The room was absolutely immaculate, you can tell the owner cares a great deal about having everything just right, spotlessly clean and well presented for your stay. The bed was very comfortable and I slept very well. Parking is also excellent with everyone having their own allocated place corresponding to their room number, so there's no anxiety about being able to park again after a day out exploring the area. The check in, again, was flawlessly easy and well thought out. I received a text on the morning of my stay with foolproof instructions on how to check myself in which all went very smoothly. The location is very convenient with grocery shops and restaurants just a couple of minutes walk around the corner. The main attractions of the lovely Bamburgh Castle and Lindisfarne are short drive up the road and very easy to get to. I really can't recommend booking a room here enough!

Only tiny criticism would be the strike plate on the bedroom door could do with being moved back a few mm as the door tends to rattle a little from time to time. But this is a very minor issue and I would have no hesitation staying here again.

I liked the room and the shower room is fab. Clean, comfortable and quiet. The mini fridge was a nice addition. The location was good.. The golf club is close by, and they have a good breakfast menu.

I was in room 3 if there had been two people it would be a bit cramped. No room for cases. A small clothes rail. It was fine for me for two nights. The blind in the bedroom was a blackout blind, no privacy when open. Louvre blinds seemed to be in the other rooms - which would give some privacy

Very clean comfy and reasonably quiet. Perfect location for a wedding at Bamburgh Castle. Not much available for breakfast nearby so went to Beadnell which was lovely. Very pleased all in all. Would stay again and would recommend.

The road was a bit noisy during the night with the window open ( it was a really hot day and night) but with it closed it was fine.
