The hotel was in a prime location to easily see everything in the city. Everything in the city is very walkable. For parking, it was very easy to pull up before the gate (not entering the ZTL zone), get the keys to the garage, and then park in the garage. It was a short walk from the garage to the hotel. The room was very comfortable and the balcony was lovely. The hotel served a delicious breakfast and the view from the breakfast room was lovely. The staff was very accommodating and helped us store our luggage.

The bathroom was a little small and outdated, but everything worked perfectly.

Perfect location, very close to the main piazza and to the village's entrance. If within budget, highly recommend booking a room with a view looking at the valley, absolutely breath-taking!

Main parking place is usually full (no vehicles are allowed in the village) so you might have to walk about 1km of uphill (so leave the luggages there first)

The bedroom had the most beautiful east facing balcony overlooking the Tuscan hills for a stunning sunrise and relaxing read of a book. The restaurant was very good for both dinner and breakfast. All staff were excellent.

Parking is close by and in public car parks. Unusually a Fiat 500 had been broken into (back window smashed) and the contents stolen, in the car park we used. So we left nothing in the car and checked everything straight into the hotel. Just a reminder to be vigilant but it seemed like a rare occurrence.

This lovely hotel in the centre of the historic town of San Gimignano was just perfect for our one night stay. Our arrival and check in was seamless and the reception staff were very helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable and the shower/bathroom was fabulous. But the star of our stay was the breakfast! The choice was huge and served by the loveliest staff! The panoramic view from the breakfast room was breathtaking - it was very special to have a leisurely breakfast taking in the incredible views.

One of our neighbors recommended visiting San Gimignano from Florence and staying at this hotel so we could enjoy the town outside of the tourist hours. What a great recommendation! We had one of the rooms with a balcony view of the Tuscan countryside, which was incredible. One direction we had a fantastic view of the towers and walls of San Gimignano and the other we had an ongoing view of the hills, trees, and farms of Tuscany. Our breakfast - which was very good - was included in our room rate which gave even more value. The room itself was appointed well, but not like a luxury hotel of the larger cities which we did not expect - but good to note. The location within the town itself was excellent being only a few hundred yards from the main entrance.

There really was nothing we did not like. Hotel staff were very welcoming, room was good and we were happy.

Beautiful, spacious, clean room with spectacular views of the Tuscan countryside. Staff are great to deal with. Exceptional breakfast served in restaurant part of building with great views. Lady who served breakfast was fantastic. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Well appointed room with comfortable bed and excellent bathroom. Had dinner in the restaurant and the meal was outstanding. Overall we enjoyed every moment staying here, and can't wait to return.

Having to leave.

A great location right in San Gimignano not too far from the main entrance. So important to try and get a room with a balcony and see the most spectacular view of Tuscany! Otherwise the room can be noisy on the other side of the hotel. Might cost a bit more but so worth it. The staff were very helpful and friendly. There is a restaurant where they serve breakfast and dinner with big windows overlooking the countryside Would highly recommend

The patio was spectacular! The room had everything we needed, but was kins of blend. Very comfortable and clean, but thing mid level hotel when compared to others of same price. Also, the room was really big and the AC located at a location that was not very efficient. But if you want to stay at a perfect location, all these things become minor details - the location was amazing and the restaurant terrific.

The AC location wasn't ideal, making the sleeping area not as cold I we'd like.

Hotel Bel Soggiorno is very centrally located. The door is about a 100 meters from the main gate of the town. Our room overlooked the main street so your really get the feel for the city. The breakfast was a standout with lots of different offerings. The dining room looks east so you get a great view of the vineyards surrounding San Gimignano. Our room was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. A great visit.

The addition of a luggage stand would be helpful.

The view was excellent. When you entered the hotel you did so right off the shopping area and once in your room you viewed the beautiful Tuscan area in the back. There was a lovely seating area for us to sit and enjoy. Loved the breakfast. It was outstanding. The restaurant was a bonus.. We did not eat there but having a restaurant on the premises was great.

Didn’t like mosquitos which are around the area so bring your repellent. The hotel was very good about giving us a plug in mosquito repellent. The room was fine if you did not keep the doors open at night.
