We liked the location (10 min to the lake and 15min to Mercator store in Ribčev laz, cycling trail runs just next to it), the fact they have a bar/restaurant and parking. We enjoyed the new apartment. It has everything you need (kitchen, sofa, TV, big bed, big fridge). The host is very kind and available, with lots of experience and you can see they live for what they do. We enjoyed the breakfast (although small, there are at least two kinds of cheese and salami, various bread roll types, fresh vegetables, eggs, coffee and tea). Keep up the good work! We will certainly stop by again :) Thank you!

We had a great time at Pension Cerkovnik. The host is kind, helpful, and responsive. The apartment was as described online, well equipped, and clean. Breakfast was good, with a selection of sweet and salty options. The location was perfect for us - tranquil, with private parking and a quiet driveway, just a few minutes from beautiful Bohinj Lake and a 10-minute drive from our favourite Vogel Ski Resort. The host also advised us to visit Pokljuka Ski Centre - a small, family ski centre at a beautiful location approximately a 30-minute drive from the pension - which was fantastic for us and our 2-year-old (for sledging and having fun on snow). Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Pension Cerkovnik and hope to return soon.

We loved the location - close to bus stops going any direction. The room was ok, quite small, but had amazing view from tiny balcony: mountains were at all their beauty. Down the building (down our balcony) there is outside restaurant, but after 10pm becomes quiet and doesn't disturb. Neighbour's were quiet at night. Breakfast was very simple, but ok.

The bed was hard, could feel all imperfections of the mattress. There was no shower gel nor shampoo at the bathroom, only liquid hand soap.

The place is super clean which was our top priority. We were glad to be accommodated to a well looked after apartment. One nice surprise was the excellent homemade herbal tea you can have at breakfast. The water that runs from the tap is of the highest quality you can imagine. It must be so within the whole region. We kept drinking it the whole time.

It would have been a nice gesture to have some teabags or instant coffee stored in the kitchen of the apartment we booked.

The location is perfect, just a short walk from the beautiful Bohinj Lake. Our room was clean and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was excellent, offering a good variety to start the day. The convenience of having a restaurant below the accommodation was a big plus, making it easy to grab a beer or order a meal. We enjoyed our time here and would recommend it.

The rooms and especially bathroom were quite small. There was limited space to dry towels or unpack our belongings properly.

we liked everything

We absolutely loved our staying at Pension Cerkovnik! The place is dog friendly and the little one could come with us everywhere. Our host was lovely, easy to reach in case of any questions. At night it was wonderful to fall asleep listening the chirping of the crickets and the babbling of the stream. There is a restaurant at the property. The breakfast was pleasant with various options. We do not usually drink coffee in the morning but the 'white coffee' was that tasty that we could not skip any morning without drinking a mug of it. The location is excellent: 10 minutes walk from the main street of the Bohinj lake with a stunning view to the mountains, right on the bank of a stream, small river. You can easily reach the hiking trails to the mountains. We are planning to come back soon.

Some parts of the room were dusty (e.g. the drawers)

Location was good and outdoor seating and eating are a was lovely. Staff was helpful and always available. Breakfast was good!

Rooms were pretty small, but this is a pension, so that is understandable. Major construction going on right next door (expanding the pension?) which we didn’t know about ahead of time.

Incredible staff - they catered to all of our needs, were extremely helpful and kind. The room decor had a very alpine feel - back to nature. The restaurant attached to the property was lovely - recommend the tuna salad and breaded trout. And the half-dry white wine!

Very nice place, with a very nice lady to welcome us. The rooms are not super designed but it is absolutely charming. We had a very nice view. It was comfortable and the breakfast was nice.
