Friendly and helpful. Views were wonderful and one could watch the morning sunrise from the comfort of the house. Enjoy the views of the waves sweeping the beach and rocks all day long. Good for exploring the Otago peninsula. Convenient drive to the Esplanade for the various restaurants and pubs. Highly recommended if you enjoy a unique traditional bed and breakfast style stay.

Our hosts were super friendly and were full of helpful hints re Dunedin and the Otage Peninsula. The continental breakfast was very substantive and beautifully presented. The location for the purpose of our visit was perfect......We got to see the Aurora Australis from our bedroom window!!! I only hope Rosemount is available for the next time we visit Dunedin!!

Periena (I hope I spelt that right!) provided a tasty gluten free breakfast with fruit, yoghurt, cereals, toast & spreads. Just fantastic!! Both she and Ron were very knowledgeable about the area and always available to answer any questions. We were able to get some laundry done (at no extra cost!!). Shelby, their dog, was a delight!

The only downside was the steep street parking, but if you like a view there is a cost!

Wonderful breakfasts and a superb location near buzzy and beautiful St Clair . The view high up on the hill was panoramic and the house and bathroom, modern, light, warm and attractive. Periena and Don are extremely experienced and welcoming hosts very at ease with having people in their home. An exceptional B&B with cute Shelby, the poodle, always conscientiously returning stolen footwear undamaged. Thank you both.

Lots of great aspects for our stay: Friendly helpful hosts who were happy to share their space and have a chat. Entertaining little poodle who loves guests. Fantastic breakfast included in price. Excellent private bathroom. Panoramic views of Dunedin and the beach suburbs.

We had 2 large duffle bags so the bedroom space was a bit cramped.

We spent 4 beautiful days in Dunedin. Don and Peiriena are thoughtful hosts. They generously shared their apartment with us and gave us the benefit of their knowledge of the region. A big impression on us made the large offer for the continental breakfast, but also the bay-overlooking-view out of our up-graded room: At night, we could stargaze directly out of our bed, and on our second night, we even saw an Aurora Australis!

Parking on a steep hill but the view made up for that!

Wonderful view of St Clair's beach, the sunrise, close to the city and in easy distance of Dunedin's attractions. The room was warm and clean. I had my own bathroom with lots of extras including slippers and a big bathrobe. The breakfasts Periena presented were delicious and huge. My hosts were fun and informative. Shelby the miniature poodle puppy was such fun. It certainly is a homely B&B.

My and my husband stay in Dunedin was a delightful experience. The cozy accommodations and warm hospitality made it a perfect home away from home, and the delicious breakfasts were a highlight of our visit.
