Great hotel with exceptional staff. They were undertaking renovations whilst I was there but it did not impact me at all. Bedrooms are large and very comfortable. I liked the location within walking distance of the Sourk . Would definitely return. The doormen are probably some of the best I have ever encountered so well done. Friendly and informative .

I would like to see more food outlets as it was limited. Also I arrived a little late for breakfast and could not have what I wanted. When guests are on holiday I think you need to be more flexible with your hours.

The location was excellent, the service and food were outstanding, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and beautifully luxurious.

The towels felt rough, and the bathrobes were dry and uncomfortable to use. The room wasn’t dark enough, as the curtains let in too much sunlight. Additionally, the door opened directly onto the bed, which was inconvenient for us as a Muslim couple—I had to hide in the bathroom every time someone came to the door. And They only provided tap water and didn’t offer still water as a complimentary option.

Room is large and clean. Bathroon is wonderful with a very nice bathtub. Staff is friendly. Location is great. Overall it is a great hotel.

There was an event for around 3 days starting from the day of our arrival and the hotel did not inform us prior to arriving about that event, as too many people attending the event caused traffic infront of the hotel. As I travelled to Qatar by car, hotel parking was hard to access since the hotel mostly uses valet (Its hard for a guest to park his car by himself as you need to explain to valet workers every time upon arriving to open the gate for you to park yourself.) The hotel also wont give an access card for a guest to enter the parking easily. Another minor issue is that the food menu (in room) espicially for breakfast and overnight is somewhat limited, as only specific selections are avaliable.

Very cosy but also functional room. Beautiful and high end interior design and materials. Large bathroom, walk in shower, bathtub. Throughout the property, the interior is marvellous. Room 10/10 Restaurant Mosaic 11/10 :-) again great design. Food quality was overall exceptional, please note, we live in Dubai and are used to good quality! Staff was amazing, thanks to Kevin, Oscar, Duncan, Ousamma just to name a few, so friendly, well trained, attentive and knowledgeable. Restaurant has a nice small outdoor area with good view (take the corner table with sea view). Gym: 06/10, no view, located in B1, was way too hot. Has sauna and steam bath, technogym machines but limited options - the only downside of this outstanding hotel. Ok, never mind… we didn’t come for the gym, anyway. Lobby bar 10/10 great food and outlook Location 10/10 in the new “old” neighbourhood of Msheireb, close to palace, stables, sea side - the location is a masterpiece of urban planning from scratch, attached to the old souq with direct access, pedestrian friendly. Very relaxing and inspiring scenery. Value for money 10/10, for MO hotel on the lower end and really worth it

Mandarin Oriental in Doha was arguably the best hotel we’ve stayed in (have stayed in several 5* hotels around the world). The service was exceptional across the board from check in to room service to breakfast to the concierge, all fantastically attentive. The room was luxurious as you’d expect with a Mandarin Oriental, extremely clean and spacious. The room was cleaned on request and to an excellent standard. Breakfast buffet had a great variety of options, not too busy either. Additionally, we had room service, which again tasted great. The location is very good in the downtown area of Doha, plenty of restaurants nearby and walking distance to Souq Waqif. I would however note, there is a valet service outside and therefore, large congregations of locals do tend to the gather in the evening times - not an issue for us but you may want a quieter entrance to the hotel.. I don’t often write reviews but I had to for Mandarin. I would highly highly recommend it and we will absolutely use this hotel again in a heartbeat. I am now inclined to always stay at the Mandarin chain wherever I go. Thank you again to the staff for their great hospitality.

Our stay at the Mandarin Oriental in Doha was absolutely exceptional. The hotel is beautiful, combining elegant design with a welcoming atmosphere. Its amazing location in Msheireb Downtown Doha put us close to all major attractions. What truly stood out was the staff. Every team member was incredibly friendly and attentive, providing impeccable service that made my visit truly relaxing. It’s a great choice for a luxurious and convenient stay in Doha!

The location and the rooms

we faced a big problem when we left, which was the traffic jam on the street that the taxi was not able to reach us to go to the airport i we were late which made me angry , i booked with mandarin oriental to get a very excellent services and experience not to get a very bad experience that crossing the street with all luggages to reach the taxi its not a professional service provided by mandarin oriental wich is a very high end name on hotels buisnesses to their guests .

Very clean - amazing location close to cafes and restaurants, and the souq! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable experience. Would also like to mention how helpful and friendly Furqan was. Made us feel very welcome!! Would definitely recommend Mandarin to anyone coming to Doha!

almost everything .... fantastic breakfast, good length of the swimming pool, decent French food at Izu Team members are going the extra mile to meet guest requirements - this compensates when they don't always fully master the product knowledge.

1. rooms facing the street are surprisingly noisy; the noise is amplified by the fact that the streets feature paving stones; not ideal for noise-sensitive guests. Would expect noise-proof windows that isolates street noise. 2. Loud ventilation and AC at in swimming pool area - feels like being close to machinery room - topped up by pop-music, undermining the chill out and relax experience in that area. So good for a swim, not good to relax and try to be in peace... 3. The way the baguette bread is cut (very fine slices...) at the Izu restaurant - quite "un-french"....

Mandarin Oriental, Doha 21-24/11/2024 I and my wife stayed in Premier Room King. Amazingly luxurious, and spacious with a practical design and easy use of all accessories. Clean rooms and amazing Bathrooms. Excellent Location. The staff was exceptional, in particular, Mr. MILAN (at the reception), who was taking care of us during Check-in. He was professional, attentive, very helpful, and made us feel valued. I highly recommend this hotel to all of my knowings. I will rebook at this hotel again.
