Friendly staff, clean rooms, lovely location in the middle of a forest.

For somebody from Central Europe, the label "Spa" means thermal water, a dozen different saunas and several pool facilities. The hotel Dolce offers a small sauna and a small hamam with a small indoor pool. That´s all. Due to the remarkable size of the hotel (used for congresses and seminars) access to the "spa" is limited by one hour and has to be pre-booked. Strange for somebody who is used to real "spas" or real wellness hotels,. Beyond this difference in expectations and offered facilities, it has to be noted that the food in the restauant Angus is rather modest and one would expect more sophisticated meals. Nevertheless, the hotel is nice and due to the location recommendable for getting out of the boiling city into lush green by a 20min taxi drive.

The location is special,in the middle of a forest. The view from the room is extremely calming and relaxing.You see the trees almost entering through your window. Bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is somehow out of ordinary,no door and a little window with the shower view from the room… Breakfast is outstanding. The view from the windows of the restaurant is beautiful,green trees all around.

The hotel looks tired every where.By far is not a 4 stars hotel anymore even the prices are quite high. Breakfast is the only option which reflects the 4 stars quality. I didn’t try the pool and spa area to express an opinion related to this facilities.

The room was quite, spacious, with a great view on the trees. It was very clean and we had a good night sleep. The hotel has a very nice restaurant. We tried the barbeque which was delicios. The breakfast is exceptional (one of the best I every tried in terms of variety of products and quality). Large parking lot.

The pool is not accessible to childer after 18:00, which is a shame because we stayed one night only and in the first day we arrived at the hotel at 17:00, so not really possible to use to pool. There was a marriage party at the hotel. They did not offered a separate bar for the party, so everyone was using the bar in the lobby which was understaffed and it tool 15 minutes to get a beer.

The location is perfect if you want to get away from it all and breathe fresh air. Room (double delux) was very large, high ceilings, nicely decorated. Bed super comfortable, and choice of pillows thick and thin was a bonus. Last minute get away, very please with hotel. Very close to Waterloo, for restaurants and museums. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Sadly, one member of staff (maybe had a long day), let the side down. We spoke to the staff in English, but when I was indecisive ordering a drink, (large menu) made a comment about this in French.

Quiet place, conveniently located around the middle portion of the island. It recently changed owners and now undergoes a renovation, but only in some parts so it does not bother you when you stay there. You get a small cottage with well equipped kitchen/living room, bedroom, and spacious bathroom. Everything is really clean and well maintained. Surprisingly comfortable beds and pillows. Be advised you'd probably need a car to get there, we had a rental, so it wasn't any problem

Small nitpick - would be nice to have some salt in kitchen and maybe tea or coffee

Modern and design

Came a few times already and for the first time I experience a negative point. I got ready in my room to go for a swim when I got to the pool, staff told me that I needed to book a time slot. And that I could not swim now as the pool was full. ( acceptance for pool, sauna & Hamman is 20 pax. Max. For all together ) So very frustrated, I did book late in the evening because that was the only space avaible. When my time came up, I did not feel at all going as I was sleepy. Very sad because I did book the hotel for the facilities that I could not use !!!

From the warm smiles of the staff to the pristine condition of the entire property, every detail was a pleasure. We especially enjoyed relaxing on the charming terrace under the trees and starting our day with the delicious, plentiful, and varied breakfast. Plus, the easy parking, inviting pool, and on-site bike rentals made our visit even more enjoyable.

Very nice spa resort just outside Brussels. Rooms are clean and comfortable, nice spa facilities with indoor pool and both dry and steam sauna. Breakfast is super! Bar is nice as well with good cocktails! Evening restaurant is nice, option for a la cart or buffet. Very nice surrounding forest with walking and bicycle trails.

Pool water was a little too cold for me but maybe it’s subjective. I was missing a jacuzzi as well. Water wasn’t the cleanest in the pool too but overall a good spa experience.

Fantastic facilities, gives the impression of being in the middle of the countryside but is well located for La Hulpe centre, Restaurant is extremely good and although a little expensive, plenty of type 2 chargers.

Although the rooms are extremely well appointed, the lack of central light controls, usb/plugs near the bed is a little annoying. Bathrooms are very nice but no dedicated shower and bath shower is only a hand held unit mounted on the wall.

Very professional staff, especially at the swimming pool and restaurant. They made the customer feel special and valued. The hotel is very clean, located in a beautiful spot. Breakfast was also nice.

There is only one restaurant and one limited menu available. For longer stays it would be nice to have other options, despite the food being good.
