I had a couple of minor issues early on (which were not the fault of the owners in the first place, btw) and both were addressed immediately, efficiently and cheerfully! The owner and his wife couldn't be nicer or more accommodating, and the room provides everything necessary for a comfortable stay. The TV, AC, mini fridge, microwave and coffeemaker all worked well, and the water pressure in the shower is excellent. The pool is clean and well-appointed. The location is also ideal- - -you're close enough to LG Village to get there in a flash, but you're just far enough removed from the hustle and bustle to enjoy the serenity of the North Country. I've stayed here several times now, and I'm sure I'll be back in the future. The Studio Motel provides excellent accommodations at a great price, and that's perfect in my book!

There was no breakfast. The location was great!! Away from everything, but yet still near all the attractions such as shopping outlets, restaurants, entertainments, amusement parks, Walmart and most importantly the lake!!!

The sofa bed couch could use a little upgrade. It was stain all over. The kitchen needs a kitchen knife, a wine opener, a sponge and a brillo pad to clean the pots after cooking. Also because there is no daily cleaning service there should be a broom and a mop. It was raining the whole time we were there, everytime the kids come in from the outside they would dirty the floor with their shoes.

Caveat: I stayed midweek and there was only one other guest on the property that day. That said, it was very quiet and peaceful. I stayed in one half of the little two room cabin behind the two main buildings. It was small inside but very clean and comfortable. The space and amenities were well thought out. Walk-in shower was a nice change from the usual bath tub arrangement. Nice outdoor pool and playground area. Located just outside the commercial area of Lake George (about 1 mile).

Needs a power strip or more outlets in the refrigerator area. Cord for the coffeemaker is not quite long enough to reach the outlet without moving it.

It was very clean, inside and out. The pool area was fantastic, so many options for seating - tables, loungers, rockers, and a swing chair. Loved having accompanying pillows. Nice touch. The grounds were well kept and beautiful! Although we didn't use it (only there for the night) having a 2 burner cooktop, sink, microwave and fridge would come in handy for longer stays. Dishes, mugs, utensils available in the unit. I will definitely stay here again!

My only complaint was the fold out couch, but they're not usually known for being the most comfortable anyway!

Loved the location as it was close to town. To far for us older people, but for younger people walking to down town would be easy. The owners were so nice. We were able to check in early, and were so surprised to see what a nice little kitchenette area there is. We would take food to cook next time, as there are also outdoor grills, and utensils in the kitchenette to use if cooking indoors. Very nice heated pool. Grounds well taken care.

We were on the first floor, and could hear the kids running above us, but overall that is the only complaint.

This was our second time at The Studio Motel! We love the quietness, but closeness to town, the pool, the rooms are cute and clean! The check in process is seamless, the cost was phenomenal, and the other guests were all pretty quiet. There are BBQ grills (charcoal) and locations to have gatherings, and the staff is attentive!

There is no much to complain about! The place is quiet and maintained, but for things like extra toilet paper you have to go to the office because there is no daily housekeeping (but I cannot complain because it keeps cost down!)

The staff were extremely friendly. The pool and grounds were very clean and well kept. The location was great. You were very close to the lake, shops and restaurants without being right in the midst of the noise and traffic of the main street The price of the room was reasonable.

Although the room was a good size neat & tidy, it could use a remodel. The carpet and furnishings have seen better days. The toilet seat needs to be replaced (it wasn't dirty, just very worn) as does the shower curtain. One thing to keep in mind is to ask for a first floor room if you have mobility issues. Our room was on the second floor, and there was a flight of outside steps to climb.

First of all, what a beautiful, quiet, spot. Off the beaten path and so close to everything. Absolutely friendly owners. Very kind. We had a little cottage. It was absolutely spotless. Very comfortable. Had a nice porch to sit on, we don't have kids, but, I noticed there is a play area for kids. Just have nothing but positive things to say. And the price was hard to beat. I highly highly recommend Studio Motel. I believe it is family run. Wonderful atmosphere and family.

This was a clean and cute motel with multiple units, not too far from the "main" attraction (shops, beach, restaurants, etc) areas of Lake George - not within easy walking distance, but short drive away. Our room was ready on time, and was quite large, though I think I had booked a suite as that was the only room available at the time; not sure if all rooms are similar sizes. We did not use the pool, but it looked quite nice, and for families, there is a little play structure as well. Lots of parking though depending on where your room is, parking may not be directly in front of your room. We had a jacuzzi in our room (suite?) which we did not use, but it looked clean. The rest of the room also was clean and well appointed, but not fancy. We had everything we needed for our short 1-night stay.

Felt kind of weird/old fashioned/not too safe having an actual key vs. a keycard, but all was fine. Could hear the footsteps from the upstairs neighbours, but it wasn't too disruptive. Decor was dated, but everything was in working condition.

Checking in was a breeze and when you i checked in i was given two baseball hats that had the hotels name on them, which was a great surprise. The room was on the bottom floor so it was very easy to get to and the room was very clean. There was also ample parking available which made it very nice. There was picnic tables with grills so if you wanted to cook out you were able to. The pool was located within a short distance from all of the rooms and there was swings and a playground for the younger children. There was also chairs outside of my room so you could sit outside by your room and enjoy the nature of the area around you.
