The breakfasts were excellent with a good choice and ability to change what you wanted. The location is excellent, right on the River Thames and close to various attractions not too far away. Also not too from home.

Parking can be difficult as the place gets very busy for meals and drinks customers. Although there is quite a bit of parking available, it would be better if there was dedicated parking for staying hotel guests. My wife is partially disabled (but not a blue badge holder at present), and there are limited spaces for disabled anyway. Other than that, I can't really say much else was wrong.

Beautiful place to stay, very scenic and cosy. Staff were lovely and our room was very clean, the whole pub was pristine too. We ate there a couple of times and cannot fault the food, it was delicious. Witney the town itself was about a 22 min drive away, beautiful town, ideal for shops and more pubs/restaurants. We were able to locate other places easily from there, paid a visit to the wildlife centre one day, bourton on the water another so it's quite central, didn't take us long to get from a to b. Another big thing is in the car park it does have fast ev charging, which is extremely handy for those that may need it. We stayed for 4 nights, room was cleaned everyday, came in at the end of the day to fresh mugs and saucers, more coffee, tea and milk pouches. Cleaner was also very friendly always said hello as we passed him by in the hallway Overall a lovely lovely stay, would recommend

Beautiful location, wonderful staff - no, scratch that, "exceptional" staff. Always delivered consistently high service with a smile each time. Breakfast was a true waistline buster, with massive choice, culinary perfection and quantity spot on. Am desperately trying to think of any negatives, but cannot. The only issue was with the noise from traffic from around 6.30am (Friday morning), but this wasn't the case the following morning (Saturday). Basically, if staying over the weekend this won't be a problem, and if staying midweek, simply request a room at the rear. Were the Rose Revived a garden shed, we'd still have thoroughly enjoyed our stay, since guests' happiness is what drives this amazing team. We wish them every success for the future. Would highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to return there if in the area again.

I knew of the Rose Revived from previous visits in the 1980s, and always thought it was a lovely pub with a beautiful riverside location. The pub has obviously been renovated since then and whilst still retaining its character, it has an excellent modern look and feel to it. We stayed in room 7, which is large and comfortable with two beds zip-linked to give one super king size bed. THere is an en-suite shower room, tea and coffee making facilities and a great view of the river. The food was really ecellent here too, breakfast offering a choice of cold continental and/or hot cooked items. The many choices for breakfast and for dinner meant we had no desire to go elsewhere for food. The evening meals were always good, service was excellent, with a wide choice of drinks available.

Leaving !! Seriously though, we didn't encounter any problems during our stay.

The entire hotel was Lovely cosy & clean. Rooms have nice decor with comfy beds Wonderful open fire 🔥 in the bar area Breakfast options were plenty & tasty Food in restaurant was hit & miss some dishes delicious some below average but to be honest I put this down to different chefs standards This is our second stay here , I highly recommend & will definitely return

Chefs standard on allowing undercooked & dismal dishes to be allowed to leave the kitchen & be served to the paying customer. 😱 needs to be acknowledged by waiters/waitresses and definitely not reach the customer

Lovely freshly cooked breakfast, nice evening meal and comfortable room which faced to river. Unfortunately this was partly hidden by the restaurant that was built out from the main building. The WIFI was good and free parking was easy. Overall a lovely location, perfectly situated half way for our regular trips to the West Country. So we will no doubt return.

There wasn’t anything else to dislike, other than it was quite expensive, perhaps justified in summer, but not so much during winter.

It was a cold, late February 'respite' break for us, but from the moment we beheld the sight of a flooded Thames lapping over its banks and near the windows (which only enhanced the location from special to spectacular) and the welcome of an 'open fire' and two easy chairs in the bed-'room with a view', we sensed this would be as good an overnight time-away as any we'd had. The fact that it was also a trip down memory lane of over 40 years since student days only made it better - and we loved the improvements and light & airy open plan of the whole place. The breakfast menu was distinctive and included our favourited and more. We were in the mood to relax and enjoy ourselves - and we did! Thank you.

We do not wish to find anything to detract from our memory of a very happy stay.

Room facilities, decor and bed comfort were all fantastic. Location was perfect right on the Thames Path. Evening meal in restaurant was excellent. Staff all friendly and helpful. Was a bonus to be able to get fresh milk for the room from the bar.Trouble free parking Lovely relaxing vibe in the bar and beautifully decorated with festive lights in the evening.

The bathroom toilet .... obviously high quality but fitted strangely. For example It was difficult to clean my teeth in the sink without the the shelf above getting in the way. Even with the shower door closed and ensuring the shower head was aimed away from it, there was leaked water on the floor. This must have happened before looking at the damage to the ceiling in the bar below our room.The toilet flush in the bar toilets were set so far into the wall I was unable to flush them( yes I tried them all) I think others must have had the same problem looking in the bowl!

The property was idyllically situated on the bank of the river Thames at Newbridge. Picture postcard property surrounded by mature weeping willows. Large well appointed beer garden stretch along the river bank, along with other seating on paved patio areas. For rainy days there is a large covered pergola. In addition to the main indoor eating area there is also an outside snack bar serving hot snacks for a less formal outdoor experience. Our room was clean nicely decorated with a fresh odour. The bed was exceptionally large and comfortable. Fresh milk was available for in room tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Pillow chocolates were also provided on two of the three night we stayed. The staff were friendly curious and helpful throughout out stay.

Seeing other guests also doing the Thames walk. The convenience of the location for the Thames Walk. The fact that they were so versatile and were happy to make us a packed lunch for our walk.

We were all very hot at night. Even though the heating was off. No air conditioning and unable to open larger windows due to safety locks on them.
