We loved EVERYTHING about our stay at the Shoreline. EVERYTHING. Leaving our daughter in County Donegal to continue her mission there is always bittersweet, but having a place close to the airport for a next day's flight to the States as wonderful as Shoreline eases the bitter. We loved the room set-up, the views, the value, the amazing shower pressure, the comfortable bed, the clever furnishings, the room tea service, the delicious breakfast, the kind staff, the free parking, and the beach accessibility. We would have loved to have stayed longer. If time and resources permit, it will be our #1 choice, and we would highly recommend it to others.

The location was memorable for the natural beauty of the location & the beach walks. There is plenty of beach to walk on - in both directions. The sunsets & sunrises were breathtaking. The terrace & hotel are very busy in warm weather. It’s also a popular wedding venue. I enjoyed the sociability. The staff are also very obliging.
There is no public transport to the beach area. You have to drive or hire a taxi. When the hotel is incredibly busy, it can be hard to get a table unless you book in advance. A busy clientele & frequent weddings create a lively energy, though it might not be ideal if you’re looking for peace & quiet.

The excellent staff. Comfy & clean bed. Walking directly onto the beach from the restaurant/bar. Location 20mins from Dublin. The reception area is lovely. Had lovely meal in restaurant. Superb breakfast choice.
The outside looks like a metal building. The ground floor needs prettied up & modernised. The outside of the rooms without sea view could be fenced to block out not nice views & show off the lovely plants. The rooms need a bit of TLC, ring of rust on the bathroom floor that white vinegar & bicarbonate soda would remove.

Gorgeous spacious room with a modern well equipped bathroom and a stunning sea view. Bar/restaurant area was lovely and had a nice atmosphere. Outdoor patio area sets it apart from other hotels I've visited. Great location about a 5 minute drive to Donabate village. Very peaceful and comfortable vibe around the hotel and grounds. Very friendly staff.
TV in the room was pretty primitive with only a couple of channels working. An upgrade to TVs that support Netflix etc would be a great addition. Massive window above the bed that provides full view of the bathroom and shower is a strange design choice to say the least.

Wow, what a stunning Hotel. I arrived very late at night, to a lovely guy, very friendly Night Porter. And what an amazing surprise the next morning when I pulled back the curtain to a Fabulous view of the Irish Sea Breathtaking. Had the best sleep in a gorgeous comfy Bed with great pillows and white bed linen to die for. The room decor was beautifully decorated spotlessly clean and cosy very well laid out..The Bathroom was also beautifully decorated and had a Fabulous Power shower, beautiful soft white, white towels, and lovely shower gel/ shampoo and conditioner...Down in the lift to Breakfast, in the Bar/ breakfast area looking out at the Sea, a lovely girl greeted me, sorry I didn't get her name) blond hair in a ponytail, again really well-run area, spotlessly clean, customs attended to promptly, tables cleaned down great atmosphere also lovely seating area outside weather permitting (it was raining)😔I had a gorgeous Gluten Free Fry and lovely hot g/ f bread toasted, pineapple juice, really lovely americano. Sadly had to leave early to get to the Airport. A lovely Lady in reception called a taxi for me nothing in this Hotel was in any way a chore or any bother, All the Staff were very knowledgeable about the area and my Coeliac diet.
I couldn't stay another night 😞 Hopefully I will get a chance to visit again.

It’s an excellent place, facilities were up to high standards. The food was amazing Staff was welcoming, kind and very helpful Everyone and the atmosphere was very friendly
The 2 problems I encountered were, 1) water in the tub/ shower would not go down the drain as should but instead kept filling up, may a blocked pipe that need fixing. 2) changing the toilet would be beneficial and economically feasible because the current toilet is a bit old type that needed flushing many times to have a clean outcome, modern types have pressure that pushes everything down the drain. Just these 2 issues.

Breakfast was excellent, beds very very comfy, room was very comfortable and clean and we had a view of the beach which was fabulous. Location was excellent we went on a lovely walk along the coast taking in the super views. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend. Breakfast and check in staff were super and friendly and we were waited on at our table with more than enough of everything for everyone, breakfast was delicious and fresh.

Booked last minute to be near friends staying in nearby caravan park and tbh had low expectations but was hugely surprised. Great beach location with balcony Very comfortable modern rooms - you wouldn’t expect them from the outside. Proper mugs for tea making facilities. Wasn’t expecting the robes and balcony with a view for such a reasonable price (€134 BnB) . Such good value I stayed an extra night. Staff were so lovely and accommodating - including the bar staff (Daniel- thank you for the tv help), breakfast staff, reception and the house keeping who happily went out of their way to get me an extra quilt (to stop my boys fighting who were sharing the bed!) on the second evening. Cooked breakfast was excellent (both mornings I had bagel with smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, kids had the fry!) - best eggs I have had in a hotel ever! and again wasn’t expecting that , better than many I have had in 5 star hotel- no filter coffee and a sea view :) Whilst this isn’t a plush 5 star hotel , the staff always had a smile on their face, happy to help, the food was excellent and the rooms were clean and comfortable.
A little fridge in the room would be handy but a very minor thing!

The view from the room was a show stopper. There was a double shower, cute rubber duck and a lovely window sofa to enjoy the view. The staff were amazing and felt like friends. Facilities were great and car park was huge.
We had an issue with a towel which they offered to sort immediately. That literally was it!

Despite the rainy weather during our stay, we had a fabulous view over Donabate Beach at the Shoreline Hotel. This is the perfect beachside hotel, offering a relaxing atmosphere and great food. Both dinner and breakfast at the restaurant were delicious. The room had everything we needed – a hairdryer, kettle, coffee, slippers and more. It was clean, comfortable and well-equipped for a peaceful beach stay.
