Good hotel. Good location. Èasy, free parking. Lovely little twin room with sea view and a lift too. We were blessed with good weather. Sitting looking out to sea with a cuppa or g&t was a delight whether inside at a bay window or outside in their comfy seating area. Guests and staff all had time to speak to you.

So fed up with the UK and bacon and eggs on breakfast menu. We were not stopping on a farm. The were no kippers or smoked haddock although there was smoked salmon, (but it's not the same). My wife doesn't like eggs, so it starts to get limited.

The staff at the Llandudno Bay hotel were excellent: professional and friendly. Our room was clean and serviced every day with supplies of coffee, biscuits and spring water. We had not planned to eat in the hotel restaurant in the evenings during our stay but after a lovely meal and friendly service on our first night we decided each day to come back to the hotel for our evening meal. The menu suited us, and the restaurant was comfortable with great sea views. Our room also had a great sea view - so we could relax with our feet up and watch with world 'promenade'. At night the bay is lit with twinkling lights curving round and along the pier.

There were a lot of people with dogs. Mostly that is no problem because there is a dedicated area in the hotel where people with dogs can take meals so those of us who are 'dog free' don't have to eat with dogs. The only time it was a bit annoying was in the morning as dogs passed each other being taken out to do their business ( I presume) on the beach there would be flurries of barking.

The hotel has always been a good place to stay especially when we take the dog, the fact that they accommodate for pets means that they can stay with you at breakfast and when you are in the bar on an evening.

We were allocated a room on the top floor, although a double room when you have two small dogs and your 6 foot 3 to have a room where the roof projects into the bedroom made it very tight, I have to admit they were aware we had two dogs and to give us such a cramped room for what we paid I didn't think was fair. I did speak to reception over the room but they were booked up and had no other rooms available...... And for god's sake get the dam lift sorted as it has to be the slowest lift in the UK !!!!

pet friendly areas in hotel were good dining was good in pet friendly area we were able to have a good time, meal and chat with friends.

i think the hotel was amazing. but there were no fans in the pet area, couldnt open the windows but a fan or two woulld have cooled it down. we bought pet food and couldnt put it in a fridge in the room as wasnt one so ended up throwing the food away. the bathroom door is a nightmare blocking the toilet, really very ackward. the breakfast was lovely but the scrambled egg definitely wasnt proper egg, it was that powered one not fresh eggs, didnt taste great. room was bit cramped especially when you have two dogs and you have to pay £60 for your dogs to stay, could provide people with pets with a bigger room if have any. pets are like children to some people.

Breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked with a good range of fruit, cereals, yoghurt. Staff were really helpful, friendly and couldn't do enough to help. I was staying due to work in the area and they helped with improving my WiFi access, were good with times for meals etc. The room had a sea view, was spacious and the bed was excellent

The bathroom in the room was extremely small with very little room to move. However, it was very clean and so was the room. The only other issue was the work being carried out on the exterior of the hotel but we were warned about the scaffolding necessary to work on the roof and this didn't really have an impact.

I took me and my partner here to celebrate 10 years of being together, the staff made the room lovely I.e putting up balloons, a banner, rose petals on the bed, at an additional cost. The bed was very comfy the room was quite warm but we were provided with a fan. Absolutely lovely staff, very approachable!

Given I paid for a sea view room I was expecting a better view, it was a tiny window it was a tiny square window, and it was full of bird poop all over it that ruined the view , that’s why I couldn’t score the hotel a higher rating. We also paid for afternoon tea and I’ve had afternoon tea at a few places and we weren’t very impressed I must be honest, as the chocolate eclair just as an example you couldn’t taste it as it was icy inside like it hadn’t been defrosted properly, I really don’t want to sound rude but when your paying for afternoon tea you don’t expect the be eating ice in your food, this was unfortunately a big let down, I have to say. The lift as well was very small and temperamental, I didn’t trust it as I felt it could break at any point.

We traveled up on the Thursday morning arrived for the 3pm check in we had a wedding to attend the whole experience was overwhelming from the moment we arrived at the London bay hotel to the time we checked out it’s a memory that we will look back in years to come to say what a fantastic two days and the London bay hotel played a very big party a lot of the wedding party there and everybody we spoke to could only congratulate to the staff and the facilities where first class thanks very much London bay hotel for everything

Great location for free parking, theatre and quieter with less seagulls. Staff gave excellent customer service and were very friendly Food was very tasty and presented nicely Hotel sent congrats card after asking if visit was for a special occasion Shower cubicle was a fantastic size

Evening food not served on warmed plates so meant had to eat quicker to eat it warm. No shelves to put own toiletries on in bathroom Building work at front of hotel which meant couldnt sit out with drinks. Informed unfortunate delays in materials meant work carrying on throughout summer months

Excellent location, very nice looking and well looked after hotel. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was fantastic with a choice of cold fruit salads and continental buffet as well as full welsh breakfast cooked to order (including vegetarian and vegan options). Very dog friendly and very accommodating for people travelling with their dogs. They even get offered sausages for breakfast and a few biscuits through the day. There's a blanket and a bowl and poop bags as a welcome pack in the room. Separate lounge and breakfast/restaurant dog friendly area.The bar terrace is perfect on a sunny day, so relaxing with the view of the sea just opposite (also dog friendly). Elemis toiletries and dolce gusto coffee machine in the room as well as a kettle, water and a selection of teas.

We had a brilliant stay but just to pick something to improve on, the beds and pillows weren't very comfortable and there is no fridge or aircon in the rooms. I appreciate not very often we get heat waves but given the window only opens up a couple of inches, it was quite hot. Having said this, there was a good and much needed fan in the room.

Llandudno is always a fantastic place to stay and ill always come back. It's perfectly based and it's immaculately clean. Lovely that I can take my dog there and that they cater very well for doggy's stays. Appreciated our bags being taken into our rooms whilst we were out.

I have been here 5 times so far, and this time we have seen a little dip In the service. - normally we are welcomed with a doggy bag, but we had to call reception for one. And also there was only 1 mug, even if we had booked for 2 people. The dinner was nice, but I would have loved to see more fish on the menu with local produces.
